Approach to the Marina (Marina Entry and Navigation)

No vessels are permitted to berth at Ocean Marina Jomtien without prior approval. All boat owners are required to submit the relevant documents, including a mooring application form, evidence of ownership, valid boat license or registration, and valid insurance certificates, to obtain approval for berthing.

For safe and smooth navigation, all vessels, apart from small dinghies, are to enter and leave Ocean Marina Jomtien under power, not sail, and hoist/lower their sails well clear of the buoyed entrance channel. The maximum speed within Ocean Marina and the entrance channel is limited to 5 knots. Any violations of the speed limit or negligence towards other boat owners may attract penalties or fines.

These berths can accommodate a diverse range of vessels, from compact day runabouts and stately catamarans to massive superyachts of up to 75m. Chardonnay is a stunning 53 foot catamaran strategically based at the Ocean Marina Yacht Club, twenty kilometres south of Pattaya. This brand-new yacht is a highly impressive power catamaran that had been luxuriously appointed throughout, with three staterooms comprising of one king and two singles and fully equipped galley with refrigerator, freezers, microwave, coffeemaker and built-in ice maker.
