For those wishing to combine the adventures of the great outdoors with a few indoor pleasures such as gambling, elegant dining, and spa treatments, this luxury resort along a quiet stretch of the North Shore is the perfect destination. A private beach is one of the big perks here, with cabanas, hammocks, and a cozy fire pit area; guests can also rent power boats, jet skis, and kayaks, or embark on a catamaran cruise. The Stillwater Spa offers sports massages, body wraps, facials, and salon services, plus a fitness center. The property also includes a couple of outdoor hot tubs and a heated pool, open year-round. The Grand Lodge Casino, another major draw, is 20,000 square feet of gaming tables and slot machines; it's no Vegas, and guests like it that way. Dining options abound, but the Lone Eagle Grille—with its refined American fare, stellar wine list, and striking setting—is the best. Rooms in the tower are spacious, tastefully-appointed and offer mountain views; splurgers may opt for one of the 24 lakefront cottages with kitchenettes and gas fireplaces.

Riding Area:

Rental boats are allowed into the Gulf and Intra-Coastal waters between the North Shore of Shell Key and the Reddington Long Pier.

• Must have experience relative to the area, boat, and conditions they will be operating in.
• Must be 25 years of age or older with valid State or Federally issued I.D.
• Major credit card for a $500.00 deposit. The deposit is not the limit of your financial liability, and you are responsible for any damages incurred during your rental.
• N.A.S.B.L.A. Accredited Boaters License (Not required for drivers born before January 1, 1988).
• A charged cell phone to maintain communication with rental staff at the docks.

Restrictions:

• No fishing.
• All boats come without a radio. Renters must bring a Bluetooth speaker if they wish to hear music while out on the boat.

What if I'm not comfortable having a renter drive my boat?

If you are not comfortable having a renter drive your boat, we have an expansive network of licensed and experienced captains. Once your boat is listed, you can filter through our network of captains and favorite captains in your area that you would like to operate your boat.
