Luca Dini Design was the naval architect involved in the technical superyacht design work for PAPINOU. Her interior design was conceived by Luca Dini Design. Luca Dini Design and Clm Engineering is also associated with the yacht wider design collaboration for this yacht. In 2004 she was formally launched with triumph in Viareggio and following sea trials and final completion was afterwards passed on to the owner. Fipa Italiana Yachts - Cbi Navi completed their new build motor yacht in Italy. With a width of 7.9 m / 25.9 feet PAPINOU has reasonable interior. A shallow draught of 2.5m (8.2ft) limits the list of marinas she can visit, contingent on their individual characteristics.

I grew up in the coastal community of Barrington, Rhode Island, on the water. I have probably owned about a dozen boats over the years, but I will never get rid of my 13-metre Intrepid ; that boat is wonderfully built and can go anywhere. Captain Jeff, who has been with me for 17 years, found this great Riva yacht. Every day I pinch myself, I can’t believe I am the owner of this beautiful 29-metre Riva. I also have a gorgeous Riva Tritone and I keep both at our marina in the heart of Newport. In 1980 my father bought the Brown & Howard Marina and I hope that it will remain in the family. My favourite cruising ground is Sag Harbor, Shelter Island and Montauk. Why would I want to cruise anywhere else when I live in such a beautiful town? I use the boat for cruising with friends and business associates. You know how sometimes you go to events where you meet old friends and you always promise “let’s get together”, but it never happens? That’s what the boat is for. Sometimes we will cruise to the Hamptons just to get ice cream and then cruise back to Newport. I look forward to the yacht christening in a few months. I am changing the name in honour of my dear friend Eddie Ricci. When something was special, Eddie liked to say it was beyond beyond, and that’s what I am going to call the boat, in his memory. The 33.7 metre motor yacht Papinou, listed for sale by Mortola Yacht & Ship, has been sold in an in-house deal with Enrico Mortola representing both buyer and seller. Built in steel and aluminium by Italian yard CBI Navi to a design by Willem De Vries Lentsch, she is RINA classed and was delivered in 2004.
Papinou is a true gentleman's yacht of the very highest calibre. With de Vries Lentsch quality naval architecture and flawless execution by Italian builders CBI Navi, it is difficult to find a better combination in the creation of this yacht. Papinou was commissioned by her present owner for delivery in 2004.

CBI Navi was founded in 1984, capitalizing on its workers' metalworking skill to build custom luxury yachts for demanding clients.
