Sukosan is a picturesque little town located in the Zlatna Luka bay, about 7km south-east of Zadar. Sukosan is known for its vineyards, olive groves and farming as well as a sought after destination among sailors thanks to its marina Dalmacija - the largest marina of the Adriatic Coast. The marina represent a meeting point between two important vacation hot spots - Sukosan and Bibinje, both renowned for their rich history and colourful traditions, as well as an important stopover for yachtsman and sailors. Interesting monuments to visit in Sukosan include the Church of Our Lady of Mercy, situated in the centre of the old village and dating back to 1650. Other historical sites include the church of St Cassian, All Saints Church, Crkva Sv. Martina, The Upper Gate, or the 15th century Archdiocesan mansion - Palac.

Trogir represents one of the oldest cities on the Adriatic coast in Croatia, with the main 'centre' of Trogir being a small island located between the hills and the coast of the island of Ciovo. The entire Trogir Riviera is made up of 20 islands, islets, small counties and little villages, making this area a lovely destination to visit aboard a luxury yacht. Trogir, situated northwest of Split boasts beautiful Romanesque churches and Venetian-era Renaissance and Baroque constructions. Split's Diocletian's Palace is another UNESCO monument and a historical complex built in the 3rd and 4th centuries by Roman emperor Diocletian. Moving onto the island of Hvar, although unknown to many tourist, Stari Grad Plain is also on the UNESCO list. This is an ancient stone wall that divides the land into twenty-four plots of grapes and olives, which have been continuously used for the past 2400 years. The Old City of Dubrovnik is also popular with discerning yacht charter tourists, with its Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque churches, monasteries and palaces, as well as fabulous atmosphere, lovely cafes, bars and a vibrant nightlife. Renowned for peculiar karstic formations - Hajducki kukovi and Rozanski kukovi, the Northern Velebit National Park offers biggest selection of flora and fauna in Croatia. There is also a pothole Lukina Jama (Luka's pothole) or a lovely botanical garden to visit.

Northern Velebit National Park is a fantastic place for hiking and trekking, offering unparalleled views of the Kvarner islands from the trail. Plitvicka Jazera is perhaps the most famous Croatian National Park and only one of eight on the UNESCO World Heritage Sites list. There isn’t a better way to visit Croatia and experience each of the islands than traveling on Dalmatino. The boat was stunning. The boat crew had the best service I have ever experienced. This trip will be very hard to top. We were directed to the best experiences on each island, food was absolutely delicious and beautiful at the same time. I would highly recommend this yacht and staff to anyone who has the opportunity to travel to Croatia!

I would give a six star as a vacation spot and a 100% satisfying rate. The staff was so helpful and so so nice. Food was over the top in presentation, variety and was delicious. The Captain chose just a perfect route through the islands, the right amount of village time as play time. I would do this trip every year on Dalmatino!

Keke made sure I always had milk with dessert before even asking and kept us all in a good mood. To the chef who gave us a personal tour of the bars so we could experience the true culture. Rocco despite us leasing hi min the beginning made sure to act professional as always. Stipe on our day to the market gave us the submarine tunnel. Last but not leats, the Captain who ensure no matter the weather there was always a plan for fun in place. Overall, I wish I couls stay with you forever and I have never had such a wonderful time. I have no words to explain the marvelous adventure we have sailed with Captain Tom. It has been the upmost pleasure to embark in this journey around the Adriatic Sea with such a wonderful crew. Ivana is super attentive and dedicated to fulfilling the needs of all my fellow travelers who have stepped aboard Captain Tom’s deck. The sights seen could never be converged in the slightest. The sea was magical. The food was amazing. Everyday was a delight to my mouth. We cannot wait to come back next year. Thank you to the entire crew.

Altair – 08.2022

Carefree and a wonderful cruise down the Adriatic Mastercharter was the best Croatian travel agency I have dealt with in the last ten years. Ivana, Mirna and Mate are devout professionals who will tender to your every need. Ask a question and you will get an answer momentarily, if one of them is busy one of the others will respond. No detail is overlooked and everything is done to your satisfaction. They stay true to their motto which says “Everything is possible for one who believes”.

I wanted to charter a gulet for a family cruise and for my particular needs they suggested the Altair which turned out to be the perfect choice. The name Altair is derived from the bright star, aka Alpha Aquilae, which shines as the brightest star in the constellation Aquila the Eagle. It describes this gullet perfectly; it is beautiful, clean and well maintained. The crew is a family run affair; Captain Dare is a capable sailor and a wonderful host. His Dad Duje is a fantastic cook and a Captain in his own right and Dare’s sister Luce (Lucy) is a wonderful hostess and a do everything gal who will attend to your every need. Also there is Lovro, a very capable sailor who makes sure that the boat is securely tied, he will help you with all the heavy lifting, will provide you with the swimming toys once you are in the water and will watch over you while you swim.

The cruise down the Jadran (Adriatic Sea) was absolutely fantastic. We were in and out of secluded coves for swimming in the crystal clear water during the day and visited famous towns like Hvar, Korčula, Polače, Ston and others in the evening. It was a perfect combination of rest, relaxation and sightseeing.

I would like to take this opportnity to thank the crew once more for making me and my family feel like we were a part of their family and for providing us with a carefree, restfull, exciting and wonderfull experience. Special thanks goes out to my new friend Duje Junior (Dare’s son) who made our trip that much more enjoyable, this is from his new friend Brankec.

We had the Best time in Corsario, aside from the amaizing places and smooth ride, the crew was so warm, dedicated and helpfull. Stand up padlle, water motor rides, snorkeling, biking and awesome more experiences we lived in this boat. Thank to this boat and the crew we could had an inforgivable family time! Romanca – 18.06.-25.06.2022

Global Rating: 5/5 (Excellent)

We travel often and far, and we have been around the world and had amazing experiences. But our vacation on the Romanca, chartered via MasterCharter, was truly unrivaled! Airline travel these days can be beyond hectic, and our vacation seemed to get off to the wrong start when the airline lost our luggage. Ivana (Mastercharter) and Andrea (owner of the Romanca) arranged a speedboat to take a passenger to get medication that had gone missing with the bags and PERSONALLY tracked our luggage down and had it hand-delivered to the boat as we were eating breakfast under sail. Additionally, a member of our party had a bicycle accident, and Marin (Romanca’s captain) was on location in minutes with the town’s doctor and sat with us through the process of going to the hospital and getting a few stitches, then offered to buy the injured person an ice cream, (because everyone knows when you get stitches, you get an ice cream). Despite our two mishaps, all 15 of our party fell madly in love with Croatia, the Adriatic, MasterCharter, and most specifically the Romanca and its crew. The Romanca is by far the prettiest wooden gullet on the Adriatic; you cannot help but share the pride of her crew as she sails into port. You can tie her up next to the largest, newest ship in any marina, and know you are the one privileged enough to call the Romanca home. Valentina and Mario knew everyone by name on the first morning and never forgot our food or drink preferences — my latte was being made before I could sit at the Romanca’s massive table. Victor is a world class chef and a true artist who goes out of his way to please everyone. He woke up in the middle of the night to feed the three of us who waited for the doctor to finish his work on our patient, and we got a beautiful steak with rice and salad, totally unexpected and above and beyond. Ivan, the first mate, went out with several of our younger “sailors” (as per our request) when they wanted to go to a club at midnight. He watched over us and protected us like family, even at the sacrifice of his night’s sleep. And Marin navigated us through it all, recommending phenomonal wineries, restaurants, and excursions on the islands. I’m not prone to write reviews, or be loquacious, but for this trip, I must! These people are so special and amazing; they find a magical way of outshining the scenery. That said, Croatia and her islands are not to be missed, their beauty is unparalleled and the experience is unmatched. Do yourself a favor, spend a week on the Romanca… just don’t book the weeks we want, we will be back!

The magic ship Cataleya introduced us the beautiful people and country of Croatia. Marin, Hrvoje, Karlos, Jere and Marin the younger opened their hearts to us and showed us their wonderful culture. IT IS HARD IN LIFE TO BE FORTUNATE ENOUGH TO EVER BE ABLE TO BE IN A POSITION TO BE ABLE TO VACATION ON A BOAT SUCH AS ANIMA MARIS. HOWEVER, IT IS EVEN MORE DIFFICULT TO HAVE AN EXPERIENCE THAT EXCEEDS ALL OF YOUR EXPECTATIONS.THIS TRIP WAS BEYOND WHAT WE THOUGHT IT WOULD BE. WE HOPED IT WOULD BE THIS WONDERFUL, BUT TO HAVE EACH DAY BE BETTER THAN THE DAY BEFORE HAS TRULY BEEN A DELIGHT. THE BOAT OF COURSE IS A WORK OF ART,A MIX OF MODERN YET STILL ROMANTIC. THE CABINS ARE SO SPACIOUS AND THE BATHROOMS AS WELL.NOVAK’S COOKING WAS SPECTACULAR AS WELL AS ALEXANDER. ANYTHING WE WANTED DELIVERED WHICH AS WE ALL KNOW IS NOT AN EASY THING TO DO. SONIA KEPT OUR CABINS AND LAUNDRY IMPECCABLE AND THE REST OF THE CREW WAS WITH US ON DECK TIME WE NEEDED ANYTHING AT ALL. THE LOADED THE WATER TOY INTO THE SEA EVERYDAY SO OUR KIDS COULD RIDE THE SEABOB FROM MORNING TILL NIGHT. THEY WATCHED CAREFULLY AS THEY FLIPPED OFF THE TOP DECK IN TO THE WATER. CAPTAIN MARIO ALWAYS FOUND US THE MOST BEAUTIFUL BAYS AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, PICKED THE BEST CREW. THEN WE CAME TO VICTORIA WHO ALL DAY, EVERYDAY MADE SURE WE HAD ANY DRINK OR SNACK WE WANTED. Captain Luka was very professional and helpful, his brother Damir and the chef were excellent too. I think the Steward, Ivor was a bit out of his depth as he was really a deck hand that had stood in for a Stewardess from what we learned, and whilst he tried hard, my only recommendation would be that an experienced stewardess would have added polish to the whole drinking and dining experience.

In addition, coastal towns such as Poreč, Rovinj, and Pula are top destinations for travelers and can be pretty crowded during the summer months. The larger islands are Krk, Rab, Cres, Lošinj, and Pag and all are kindred in many traits, although vary in terms of the essence. Šibenik Region The Šibenik region, with its 249 islands, islets, and reefs, of which only a few are inhabited, national parks, and rich cultural and historical monuments, is a true jewel of northern Dalmatia. While staying here, don’t miss to visit restaurants with seafood specialties on the island of Murter and famous wine cellars which are located in many ethnic villages in the area. Don’t miss out on the Krka national park you can sail up the Krka River starting at the magnificent city of Šibenik. Before Setting Sail – Split

When starting your yacht charter in Croatia , you will most likely fly into Split Airport, situated in Kaštela only 12 miles from Split. On touch down, you’ll already find yourself right in the heart of Croatian yachting , surrounded by the most reputable marinas and charters all within a 12-mile radius of the airport. The majority of these marinas are located to the west of the city of Split, including charter-specialized marinas such as Marina Baotić , Marina Agana , and ACI Marina Trogi r. An easily organized transfer can swiftly take you to your chosen marina.

For those who would like a taste of the Mediterranean city vibe, ACI Marina Split, located right at the city’s seafront promenade , might be the preferred choice for setting sail. Here it is only a 20-minute stroll to the fashionable Riva , a waterfront boulevard buzzling with posh mediterranean-style cafes, where nicely dressed locals enjoy one coffee after the other.

Founded in the 3 rd century, Split was originally a Greek colony, today it is the second largest city in Croatia . The famous Diocletian’s Palace , the original center of Split, is a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the world’s best-preserved monuments of Roman architecture. The Cathedral of Saint Domnius , with its impressive bell tower, has gained worldwide fame as a wedding venue. These monuments are built from stone sourced from the island of Brač -your first cruising destination after setting sail from Split.

Day 1. Trogir or Split – Milna Brač

On day 1, we will set our course towards Brač, the largest island on the Dalmatian Coast and a true paradise adorned with picturesque vineyards and olive groves. Traditionally, the locals of Brač traded limestone to the mainland and the surrounding islands. It is from this stone that the Diocletian Palace in Split was built. It is also rumored that limestone from Brač was used in part of the White House in Washington.

Our destination on Brač is on the west coast in the charming, small village of Milna, nestled deep within a bay that forms a perfect natural harbor. Milna has two marinas—ACI Marina, known for its first-rate services, and the more authentic Village Port. Alternatively, you can also choose to drop anchor at the neighboring bay Bobovisca and enjoy the natural beauty of this more secluded spot.

But an evening stroll through the streets of Milan is a must. Appreciate the beautiful stone architecture and listen to the talented street musicians who play in front of the baroque church. With its rich history, impressive architecture, and warm hospitality, Milna is a delightful stop on your journey along the Adriatic coast.

Day 2. milna brač – hvar (palmižana).

Our next destination on day 2 is the famous island of Hvar, often regarded as the Croatian equivalent of L.A. This island is known for attracting the rich and famous and offers the opportunity for a bit of celebrity spotting. Hvar Island gained international recognition in the 20th century when Orson Welles spent several weeks in Hvar Town in 1967 while filming ‘ The Deep.’

Hvar Town is renowned for its many historical buildings, such as the impressive fortress looming high above the town. But many are also located just around the main square, which is known to be the largest in Dalmatia. This is a wonderful place to enjoy a coffee and appreciate the surroundings, which rival the experience of being in Venice.

For those choosing to stay overnight in Hvar, dance the night away at Hula-hula Beach Bar, located in the neighboring bay, only a 15-minute walk from Hvar. Or, if you prefer a quieter overnight spot, you can drop anchor in a more secluded bay in the Pakleni Islands archipelago, situated not far from Hvar. The crew will find the perfect spot to chill.

A recommended place among the isles is ACI Marina Palmizana, situated in an idyllic bay surrounded by a pine forest on the island of Saint Klement. A short walk along a magical forest path brings you to the other side of the island. The bay of Vinogradisce on the southern side captivates with its clear turquoise water. Here, you will also find many excellent restaurants and bars hidden among the pine trees. We highly recommend the Laganini restaurant, one of the best restaurants on the island and even praised by U2 frontman Bono.

A secret for those who like to party: Carpe Diem Beach on Stipanska Island hosts a raving Full Moon party, offering a perfect fusion of nature, music and celebration.

Day 3. Hvar – Korčula (Badija)

On day 3, you will leave the Pakleni Islands and cruise by the charming island of Scedro—a serene spot nestled between Hvar and Korčula and a perfect spot for a refreshing swim in crystal clear water. This almost uninhabited island presents an authentic culinary experience at Restaurant Kod Ive, situated right next to a 16th-century Dominican monastery ruin. Indulge in delicious fish, lobster, and langoustines on the restaurant’s terrace built directly on the beach.

You have the option to spend the night on anchor here and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Alternatively, you can aim to reach ACI, your next stop 22 nautical miles to the East. Be on the lookout for windsurfers and kiteboarders as you navigate the narrow channel between the Peljesac peninsula and the northeast end of Korcula. This area, known for its consistent northwest wind called Maestral, is a popular spot for water sports enthusiasts.

The town of Korčula, often referred to as “small Dubrovnik,” unfolds around the old medieval city on a small oval peninsula enclosed by medieval city walls. Once safely moored in ACI Korčula, immerse yourself in the charm of the town’s stone buildings and street music and explore the many galleries and jewelry shops.

Day 4. Korčula – Lastovo

Before heading south on day 4, there is the option of stopping for a quick, refreshing swim at Badija Island, located next to Korčula and renowned for its 15th-century monastery.

After a 20-nautical mile cruise, you’ll arrive at Lastovo, one of the remotest islands in the Adriatic Sea. Lastovo is known for its beautiful 15th and 16th-century Venetian architecture. We recommend staying in the naturally protected bay of Zaklopatica on the northern part of the island. All restaurants in this bay offer free moorings, and Augusta Insula is a very popular choice for a reason. Their cuisine features organically grown ingredients from their family garden, with their highly recommended dish, the lobster “Buzara”.

From Zaklopatica, it is only a 30-minute walk to Lastovo, a town located in the interior. Due to its great distance to the mainland and limited local light pollution, this is the perfect place to enjoy stargazing.

Alternatively, consider berthing at Porto Rosso restaurant in the hidden bar of Skrivena Luka on the southern side of the island. This restaurant offers a magical stay with a view of the blue horizon towards Italy. Try their recommended dish: Pasta with lobster.

Day 5. Lastovo – Vis

As you approach the island of Vis, you have the option to choose between the southern and northern parts. On the southern side, facing Italy, lies the charming fishermen’s settlement of Komiža—a picturesque place protected by a long dock. Komiža provides a great hideaway from the Bora wind, especially now that you are far from the mainland. It’s advisable to enter Komiža before noon if adverse weather is common late in the day.

On the northeastern part of Vis, you’ll find the town of Vis, offering a stark contrast to Komiža with a more modern and aristocratic ambiance. With historical significance dating back to 400 B.C., Vis Is full of impressive stone buildings, reflecting architectural influences from Italy.

After five days on the move on the water, you might be ready to spend a little more time on land. Consider spending day 5 taking a tour around the islands, with a military tour offering glimpses of catacombs and other army structures scattered across the island. This tour is available from both Vis and Komiža. Ask the guide to take you to a hidden restaurant serving delicious “Peka”—a must-try traditional Dalmatian barbecue dish featuring a combination of vegetables and meat (or octopus) prepared in special pots under a bell. One highly recommended spot is “Roki’s,” where you can also indulge in exquisite wine tasting. The family takes pride in their organic grape production.

Day 6. Vis – Šolta

On day 6, after exploring Vis, it’s time to accept that your journey is leading you back to the mainland. However, there’s still beauty to discover as you head back via the island of Šolta. Positioned in front of Split, you passed it from the northern side on the first day en route to Milna. The northwest end of the island offers several appealing options for your last night.

For those who enjoy anchoring, Šešula Bay is likely to be a preferred choice. Nestled among pine trees, this bay hides a few delightful restaurants reachable by dinghy or using their buoys. A 10-minute walk will take you to Maslinica, a village home to a modern marina, which provides protection from all winds. In this bay, you’ll find Martinis Marchi, a mansion with an excellent restaurant offering a fine dining experience with a great view. Alternatively, explore the charming village to discover other authentic restaurants and pubs. Don’t miss the must-see sunset from the marina’s dock.

Day 7. Šolta – Trogir

Upon reaching Maslinica, you’re merely 7 nautical miles away from the marinas of Trogir and Split. Trogir, often referred to as the Little Venice of Dalmatia, is especially known for its well-preserved medieval architecture and has been designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Trogir’s historic core is a labyrinth of narrow streets and squares, echoing the footsteps of ancient civilizations.

At the heart of this enchanting town stands the Cathedral of St. Lawrence, an architectural marvel showcasing a blend of Romanesque, Gothic, and Renaissance styles. Kamerlengo Castle, perched on the edge of the historic core, provides a stunning panoramic view of Trogir and the azure Adriatic Sea.

The town’s cultural vibrancy comes to life through frequent events like music festivals and art exhibitions, creating a dynamic atmosphere. This is a great place to end your epic charter vacation.
