How guest reviews work

Ceiling fan was extremely wobbly and very squeaky.

The Views are wonderful, the staff take time to get to you know. Helpful about restaurants. Room was clean. Patio's are very nice, from top to bottom.

We stayed in the French Quarter, which was nice but didn't know until we were checked in that we were not in the main building. We love the deck and atmosphere of the main building and missed it this trip.

We love the Riverboat Inn and always have a nice stay. It's close to the river and downtown Madison.

It was nice to have the shuttle to the music festival.

The floor in our room was somewhat dirty so he had to keep washing our feet. That was the only thing we didn't like.

Staff was wonderful, accommodating and make good suggestions. Beautiful on the river. They had music which was fantastic. Great location. We were able to walk to almost everything. With the continental breakfast the price was very good. They're having some art put on the outside and we talk to the artist. Very lovely!

We loved the back deck! Came with a giant Connect 4 game, Tiki Ring Toss, tons of rocking chairs and even live music! We took a tour of Madison on a golf cart. The artwork everywhere was amazing! Zac was great and very personable to us all. Makes a good long Island iced tea too! The owner and every staff member we came in contact with were helpful and truly seemed to love their jobs! That makes a huge difference! Would definitely book there again!

We were very pleased with the cleanliness of our room and the facilities overall. When we checked in we were offered a different room (in the main building) for the same price. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We loved being able to park right outside our room. It was reminiscent of the motor courts from my childhood.

The showers were very small and a bit hard to use.

The staff was absolutely amazing! Booking made several errors on our reservation, and the staff spent a LOT of time making sure our trip went smoothly. More, they were welcoming and hugely thoughtful throughout! For a large family gathering, being able to rent several rooms together and use the balconies to gather was perfect! The rooms are not fancy but are spacious and clean. The proximity to downtown Madison allowed us to easily walk to town to enjoy the fun of Madison. The view of the river and the music at night made memories. It was a great trip due to the staff and place!
