Grande Mare is a high-quality Gulet, 34 meters in length, and completely renovated in 2016. There are modern and spacious cabins, specially designed with hall and deck. She accommodates 12 guests in 2 Master, 2 Double, 2 Triple Cabins, Each has a private shower and toilet. All yachts, including cabins, are air-conditioned.

There is a fully equipped kitchen, an indoor and outdoor dining area, and an air-conditioned lounge. There is a TV, DVD and music system in the saloon and all cabins. There is also a large sun deck with enough sunbathing mats for all.

Grande Mare Gulet not only offers high-quality layout and furnishings but also offers luxury service with a highly professional 5 crew including an experienced. That crew consists of the captain, chef, deckhand as well as service personnel. They have accommodation separate from the passengers. The crew is committed to all your needs such as organizing daily activities in the boat, cleaning, general service, meals and drinks, and security. Safety and comfort of our guests is an absolute priority and the crew has been trained to ensure that.

Guest Accommodation

Built in 2004, Grande Mare offers guest accommodation for up to 14 guests in 6 suites comprising a master suite, one VIP cabin and two double cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 5 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht charter experience.

Onboard Comfort & Entertainment

Whatever your activities on your charter, you'll find some impressive features are seamlessly integrated to help you including Wi-Fi connectivity, allowing you to stay connected at all times, should you wish. You can stay comfortable on board whatever the weather, with air conditioning during your charter.

Performance & Range

Built with a wood hull and wood superstructure, she offers greater on-board space and is more stable when at anchor thanks to her full-displacement hull. Grande Mare comfortably cruises at 12 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 16 knots. Her low draft of makes her primed for accessing shallow areas and cruising close to the shorelines.

Set against the backdrop of your chosen cruising ground, you and your guests can enjoy fun on the water with the collection of water toys and accessories aboard Grande Mare. About this gulet

Dramatically beautiful sailing yacht Grande Mare (ex Carmina) is a 34-meter long deluxe gulet, launched in 2004. With the last refit in 2015, the luxury charter yacht Grande Mare provides her guests with the utmost in luxury. Six spacious and comfortable cabins aboard can comfortably sleep up to 12 guests. There are 2 master cabins,  2 double cabins as well as 2 triple cabins, with separate accommodation for a crew of 5, well experienced in VIP service as well as customer care. All cabins feature CD and DVD player, along with a TV offered by the main saloon. There are ensuite bathrooms with shower cells and a vacuum flush toilet. Grande Mare also offers a wide variety of water toys, including windsurf, waterski, Ringo, canoe, as well as snorkeling equipment, fishing tackle, sun awnings, sun mattresses, deck shower, and sea.

When looking along a row of gulets, all jostling for attention in Marmaris marina, Grande Mare's attractive green hull, wide beam and shiny dark mahogany stand out from the crowd. Coming aboard, one is welcomed by the captain and his crew immediately impress with the warmth of their greeting.

The interior design of gulets ranges from extremely basic to over-the-top tasteless, but the owners of Grande Mare have sensibly kept things simple. The cabins and saloon are simply and tastefully furnished in white whilst all the bathrooms have good quality, modern showers. On deck, things are also kept simple with comfortable cushioned lounge seats at the stern and wide expanses of deck towards the bow for deck chairs and sunbeds.

Grande Mare's owners are involved in the day-to-day running of the ship and have equipped her to a very high standard. Gulet Yacht Grande Mare Description

The low line and elegant green natural wooden hull mark the distinctive classical ketch gulet Grande Mare as one of the outstanding gulets built by Bodrum master builders. The simple but stylish interiors of the luxury sailing gulet add to the luxurious experience enjoyed by up to twelve guests on their gulet cruise.

The interior of the gulet is entirely finished in fine timber paneling of various exotic woods which gives a cozy and nautical ambiance. Even the well-appointed en-suite bathrooms of each of the six cabins are lined in wood. The master cabin at the stern enjoys ample space afforded by the full beam width of the gulet, a centrally aligned king-size bed, a desk/dressing table, and generous space for storage in wardrobes and commodes. The VIP cabin offers the same fittings with an even more nautical style as the large queen size bed is located to one side of the cabin and the mainmast encased in timber. The two master, two double-bed cabins and two triple bed cabin have a neat arrangement of space and storage that offers guests comfortable accommodation

The indoor salon offers a peaceful shared space for a retreat with a very comfortable l-shaped sofa and coffee table for conversations or enjoying the large TV, DVD, music, and internet available for entertainment. Opposite of stands the full-sized dining table which is ideal for either formal entertaining or indoor snacks.

On deck, the Grande Mare offers the classic gulet outdoor full dining table and chairs for long relaxed al fresco meals, the very generous almost bed-length bank of inviting cushions across the wide stern, and the personal sunbeds with towels on the middle deck above the salon. In the bow, a comfortable seating bench with green cushions invites you to relax or to enjoy the beautiful views. This is the spot beloved by guests for having a sundowner drink at the end of another great day of relaxing.

Turkish gullet Grande Mare is very well-equipped with water toys for the active guests aboard and was also built to sail well with a full technical sailing rig, giving a magical experience for guests to sit back and enjoy.

The professional captain and his friendly crew, including the hostess, care for their guests in a very hospitable and professional manner. The chef produces excellent food from a very well-equipped galley and the crew serves the meals, drinks service, carries out all cleaning, and opens the sails. They do all they can for the guests to enjoy themselves on a memorable cruise on a gulet offering excellent value for a luxurious experience along the Turkish coast or into the Greek Dodecanese Islands on the gulet Grande Mare.

Grande Mare is 34-meters in length, she sails the Mediterranean with grace and has done since 2004 when she was built, in 2012 she underwent a full renovation, she is now a high-end luxury gulet. 

She carries 12 guests, in 6 spacious cabins consisting of 2 Master Cabins, 1 VIP Cabin, 2 Double Cabins and 1 Twin Cabin, each cabin has LCD TV, air conditioning and private bathroom, we actively encourage you to look at the gallery provided to truly understand the home comforts offered, all bathrooms have WC and shower cubicles. There is an experienced crew of 5, The captain, Chef, 2 x deckhands and a waiter, this yacht has separate living quarters for captain and crew. 

The top deck is a superb space to entertain relax and eat, there is ample room at the front for both sunbathing on a separate raised deck and also a large seating area, at the rear of the vessel there is an open dining space, here you have the option of a retractable awning keeping the midday sun off of you. This is most likely where you will take most of your meals which are prepared by our Chef in the fully-fledged kitchen, which has all necessary fixtures and fittings, next to the dining space is a large custom-built made to measure couch, just sit back and relax. 

The interior lounge is spacious and flooded with light, the whole interior of this yachts decore is white with neutral colour furnishings which creates the modern touch that gives a luxurious feel. The lounge is a fantastic entertaining space, with American bar, LCD TV, DVD player and Hi-Fi Music System there is also Satellite and Internet connection available whilst with Turkish waters. We also have Jetski, Water Ski and Wind Surf equipment available. 

The Yacht can be chartered from Bodrum, Marmaris, Fethiye and Gocek.

• If a client wishes to use private marinas the costs can vary from 300 and up to 500 €/night.
• Tips are not included in the price of the charter and are a voluntary way of showing appreciation for a good service. Usually, it is 7% to 15% of the charter price, according to your satisfaction, paid to the captain at the end of the charter and distributed equally by the captain to the rest of the crew.

Additional Motorized Water Sports:

• Grande Mare has Jet ski which is charged 200 €/day and for the fuel used according to clients usage. Water skiing, wakeboard, and Ringo ride which is charged for the fuel used according to clients usage.

Other Options on request:

• Airport transfers, diving schools recommendations, guided land tours, restaurant bookings, bike rentals, hotel recommendations, spa recommendations, ...

How does the charter agreement work?

Once your chosen yacht has been confirmed, we will send you a standard MYBA or Goolets charter agreement that needs to be signed. If your chosen cruise route requires a different embarking or disembarking place other than the yacht's central harbor, delivery/redelivery fees may apply.

What are the payment terms?

After signing the MYBA or Goolets charter agreement, a deposit of 50% of the total charter cost is required. You can pay the fee via bank transfer or credit card (only Visa or MasterCard). The other 50%, an Advance Provisioning Allowance (if applicable), taxes, positioning fees, and any previously agreed charges are payable via bank transfer eight weeks before departure.

What are the actual operating expenses?

Once you made the final payment of the charter, you pay the Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA). Under MYBA terms, this fee is usually between 30% - 40% of the total charter cost.

This covers the operating expenses of a charter (explained under Charter Terms), such as fuel, food, drinks, port fees, and ad hoc incidentals. The APA is given to the captain before the start of your charter. Some yachts and gulets also offer food/drinks packages which are normally paid in cash during embarkation, while the port taxes are paid during embarkation according to the costs presented by the captain. The Captain ensures that the yacht is fully fuelled and stocked when you step on board. 

While an up-to-date summary of accounts can be requested at any time during your charter, a full set of accounts will normally be submitted by your captain at the end of the cruise. 

In case of surpassing the amount of money already paid during your yacht charter (with the APA), additional funds (in cash) will be required at once. If there is an outstanding balance from the yacht charter, it should be settled in cash or by bank transfer before you disembark. In case of a remaining credit at the end of your charter, you will be fully reimbursed. 

If a transfer by car to and from the yacht is required, it can be arranged either by the charter company or by the yacht’s captain, payment for which will be deducted from your APA.

How can we make your yacht charter personalized?

To ensure a unique and tailor-made charter experience, we will send you a detailed questionnaire eight weeks before you embark on your yacht. You can tell us your group's preferences and special requirements, such as dietary or medical needs, any particular wishes regarding exercise, entertainment, or if you are celebrating a special occasion. 

Are internet and satellite TV connections available onboard?

In case you really need to get some work done during your vacation, no worries. On most yachts, there is mobile broadband internet and satellite TV, so you will stay connected to the rest of the world. Just keep in mind that the service can be limited in some areas (you are in the middle of the sea after all). If you anticipate regular usage of the internet, let us know prior to embarking, as upgrades might be subject to availability and additional fees may apply.

Is smoking allowed onboard?

Smoking is permitted only on the outside decks, and on some yachts, only in dedicated outdoor areas. Please consult our charter brokers for more information. For safety reasons, smoking indoors is strictly prohibited on all yachts.

Are tips for the crew mandatory?

Even though tips are not mandatory, the guests normally extend a gratuity to the devoted crew. The amount depends on the guest's satisfaction, but it is approximately 10% of the charter fee. The tips are equally distributed among all crew members by the captain.

Should I get any insurance?

In case of unforeseen circumstances that might prevent the charter, we highly recommend taking out the Cancellation and Curtailment Insurance to protect the investment. Besides that, the guests should be covered by Personal Accident and Medical Insurance, and their belongings are insured against theft, loss, or damage. How are the charter rates calculated?

Charter rates are estimated weekly. If a charter exceeds seven days, they are calculated pro-rata against the weekly rate divided by seven and multiplied by the number of charter days. Keep in mind that some yachts are only chartered on a weekly (Saturday-Saturday or Sunday-Sunday) basis, especially during the high season.

High and low season rates vary depending on charter locations and types of yachts. The high rates apply to the most popular charter periods (July/August and Christmas/New Year), and to all major events. Low season rates apply to all other periods.

The charter rates on our website are up to date but may be subject to change. 

What are the charter terms?

Most charter rates are based on MYBA Terms, which entail that the yacht is in full commission, with all necessary equipment, properly insured for marine risks, and managed by a crew, whose wages, food, and clothing are the owner’s expense.

All other operating expenses are charged to the charterer and include (but are not limited to): fuel and lubricating oils for the yacht and her tenders; local taxes; pilotage; port, harbor, and marina dues; customs clearance; water and power; personal laundry; all provisions, wines, beers, spirits, soft drinks and consumables for the charterer’s group; shoreside excursions, telecommunication, and internet costs.

Please note that, occasionally, a yacht may offer an alteration on the terms described above. For further information about specific yachts, consult your broker.

Do any other taxes apply?

For charters in European waters, Value Added Tax and delivery costs may be charged on the gross Charter Fee, due to the European Union tax legislation. In other countries, local taxes may also apply. Depending on your chosen charter destination, our brokers will provide any prevalent rates.

Grande Mare gulet i nterior layout sleeps up to 12 guests in 6 staterooms, including a master suite, 1 VIP stateroom, and 3 double cabins and one triple. All cabins feature CD and DVD player, along with a TV offered by main saloon. There are ensuite bathrooms with shower cells. She is also capable of carrying up to 5 crew on board to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Grande Mare Gulet, which has been in service since 2004 (refit 2023) with a hundred percent satisfaction guarantee, is one of the most preferred super luxury yacht options by Mirya Yachting visitors with its numerous references and recurring reservations.

The super luxury yacht with a length of 34 meters and a width of 8 meters can accommodate a total of 12 guests in 2 Master, 2 Double and 2 Twin cabins. With private shower and WC facilities in each cabin, all cabins and all yachts are equipped with air conditioning for a comfortable stay on hot summer days. There is also a jacuzzi in the deck. All cabins have TV, DVD and music system.

The interior design of the Grande Mare yacht has been tastefully decorated to give its guests the feeling of swimming in luxury. All you have to do is enjoy the different flavors while the eye-catching tables are set on the dining tables in the saloon and on the deck. There is a TV, DVD and music system in the living room. While your meals are being prepared for you in a fully equipped separate kitchen, you can enjoy the sun with enough sunbathing area and cushions for all our guests.

Grande Mare has been a legend among Gulet built in Bodrum she was launched first she did 18 knots with her twin 720 hp engines, she was called Carmina then. Ex Carmina newly named Grande Mare got her interiors renewed and had a complete refit and facelift in 2016 and her captain says she still does 16 knots with full throttle.
