Motorsailer Yacht Angelo 2 Description

The modern Deluxe gulet Angelo 2 is a luxuriously stylish white 35-meter gulet that was refitted in 2015 and unusually can carry up to 14 guests for larger families or groups . With her modern deck structure from the outside, she resembles a luxury motor yacht, but the wooden interior is designed very distinctively with comfortable and spacious seating, ideal for entertaining, stretching across the whole width of the saloon and lit by wide windows ensuring ample natural light.

The seven cabins of the gulet offer simple, light, and luxurious accommodation with one master cabin and six double bed cabins all with queen size beds, for a family or a group of friends up to fourteen people. All cabins are air-conditioned throughout, have well-appointed bathrooms with shower cabins, and there is a TV/DVD- and music system for entertainment.

The air-conditioned saloon offers a Plasma TV/DVD and music system for those who wish for some screen entertainment, while guests may move easily from the saloon through the large glass sliding doors onto the aft deck on the same level. The greatest enjoyment on a blue cruise aboard a gulet is sharing the outdoor meals at the aft dining table with delicious meals the professional crew prepares and serves.

The stylish white hull of Angelo 2 has a modern swim platform at the rear to facilitate access to the sea and the many water toys available for guests. The distinctive design on the foredeck has the platform for the sunbeds lengthened towards the bow to enclose a round table. Cushions are placed around the table for a seating or dining alcove where magnificent views to the sea and the Turkish coast can be enjoyed.

The comfortable white U-shaped seating bench in the rear invites the guests for relaxing in the shade all day long while a small private sun deck is offered on the flybridge has access by a staircase from the aft deck, beside the navigation deck of the captain shaded by a bimini.

The professional and experienced captain and crew of four ensure that guests aboard will enjoy a deluxe experience of “ Blue voyage ” sailing, dining and cruising the Turkish coast in fine style aboard the excellent gullet Angelo 2.

• If a client wishes to use private marinas the costs can vary from 300 and up to 500 €/night.
• Tips are not included in the price of the charter and are a voluntary way of showing appreciation for a good service. Usually, it is 7% to 15% of the charter price, according to your satisfaction, paid to the captain at the end of the charter and distributed equally by the captain to the rest of the crew.

Additional Motorized Water Sports:

• Angelo II has water skiing, wakeboard, and Ringo ride which is charged for the fuel used according to clients usage.

How does the charter agreement work?

Once your chosen yacht has been confirmed, we will send you a standard MYBA or Goolets charter agreement that needs to be signed. If your chosen cruise route requires a different embarking or disembarking place other than the yacht's central harbor, delivery/redelivery fees may apply.

What are the payment terms?

After signing the MYBA or Goolets charter agreement, a deposit of 50% of the total charter cost is required. You can pay the fee via bank transfer or credit card (only Visa or MasterCard). The other 50%, an Advance Provisioning Allowance (if applicable), taxes, positioning fees, and any previously agreed charges are payable via bank transfer eight weeks before departure.

What are the actual operating expenses?

Once you made the final payment of the charter, you pay the Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA). Under MYBA terms, this fee is usually between 30% - 40% of the total charter cost.

This covers the operating expenses of a charter (explained under Charter Terms), such as fuel, food, drinks, port fees, and ad hoc incidentals. The APA is given to the captain before the start of your charter. Some yachts and gulets also offer food/drinks packages which are normally paid in cash during embarkation, while the port taxes are paid during embarkation according to the costs presented by the captain. The Captain ensures that the yacht is fully fuelled and stocked when you step on board. 

While an up-to-date summary of accounts can be requested at any time during your charter, a full set of accounts will normally be submitted by your captain at the end of the cruise. 

In case of surpassing the amount of money already paid during your yacht charter (with the APA), additional funds (in cash) will be required at once. If there is an outstanding balance from the yacht charter, it should be settled in cash or by bank transfer before you disembark. In case of a remaining credit at the end of your charter, you will be fully reimbursed. 

If a transfer by car to and from the yacht is required, it can be arranged either by the charter company or by the yacht’s captain, payment for which will be deducted from your APA.

How can we make your yacht charter personalized?

To ensure a unique and tailor-made charter experience, we will send you a detailed questionnaire eight weeks before you embark on your yacht. You can tell us your group's preferences and special requirements, such as dietary or medical needs, any particular wishes regarding exercise, entertainment, or if you are celebrating a special occasion. 

Are internet and satellite TV connections available onboard?

In case you really need to get some work done during your vacation, no worries. On most yachts, there is mobile broadband internet and satellite TV, so you will stay connected to the rest of the world. Just keep in mind that the service can be limited in some areas (you are in the middle of the sea after all). If you anticipate regular usage of the internet, let us know prior to embarking, as upgrades might be subject to availability and additional fees may apply.

Is smoking allowed onboard?

Smoking is permitted only on the outside decks, and on some yachts, only in dedicated outdoor areas. Please consult our charter brokers for more information. For safety reasons, smoking indoors is strictly prohibited on all yachts.

Are tips for the crew mandatory?

Even though tips are not mandatory, the guests normally extend a gratuity to the devoted crew. The amount depends on the guest's satisfaction, but it is approximately 10% of the charter fee. The tips are equally distributed among all crew members by the captain.

Should I get any insurance?

In case of unforeseen circumstances that might prevent the charter, we highly recommend taking out the Cancellation and Curtailment Insurance to protect the investment. Besides that, the guests should be covered by Personal Accident and Medical Insurance, and their belongings are insured against theft, loss, or damage. Charterers’ Liability insurance is also highly recommended. Contact your broker for further assistance and additional advice regarding the insurance.

How are the charter rates calculated?

Charter rates are estimated weekly. If a charter exceeds seven days, they are calculated pro-rata against the weekly rate divided by seven and multiplied by the number of charter days. Keep in mind that some yachts are only chartered on a weekly (Saturday-Saturday or Sunday-Sunday) basis, especially during the high season.

High and low season rates vary depending on charter locations and types of yachts. The high rates apply to the most popular charter periods (July/August and Christmas/New Year), and to all major events. Low season rates apply to all other periods.

The charter rates on our website are up to date but may be subject to change. 

What are the charter terms?

Most charter rates are based on MYBA Terms, which entail that the yacht is in full commission, with all necessary equipment, properly insured for marine risks, and managed by a crew, whose wages, food, and clothing are the owner’s expense.

All other operating expenses are charged to the charterer and include (but are not limited to): fuel and lubricating oils for the yacht and her tenders; local taxes; pilotage; port, harbor, and marina dues; customs clearance; water and power; personal laundry; all provisions, wines, beers, spirits, soft drinks and consumables for the charterer’s group; shoreside excursions, telecommunication, and internet costs.

Please note that, occasionally, a yacht may offer an alteration on the terms described above. For further information about specific yachts, consult your broker.

Do any other taxes apply?

For charters in European waters, Value Added Tax and delivery costs may be charged on the gross Charter Fee, due to the European Union tax legislation. In other countries, local taxes may also apply. Depending on your chosen charter destination, our brokers will provide any prevalent rates.

Angelo 2 a  luxury modern gulet with 7 cabins for up to 14 passengers. These cabins are stylishly decorated with bright colours with polished wood accents. The interior lounge is a bright modern room with extensive seating with TV & DVD player, the large windows make the room bright and airy while showing the fantastic scenery. The rear deck is the main dining split over two tables that flanking the entrance way onto the boat. The entrance way also doubles as easy and safe access to the water's edge. The central section of the deck has optional shaded sunbeds, which many choose to sleep overnight under the stars. Sailing yacht Angelo II can accommodate fourteen charter guests in her seven spacious cabins.  Each cabin is equipped with air conditioning, an ensuite bathroom, and a double bed. Gulet Angelo 2 offers you a wide deck space and a comfortable interior area. The front deck has sun mattresses and a seating area with an alfresco table. Angelo 2 is a high-quality wooden gulet available for sailing holidays in Turkey.

She is 35 metres in length and was completely renovated in 2013. The cabins are modern and spacious accommodating up to 14 guests. Each has a private shower, toilet and air conditioning.  

Angelo 2 has a fully equipped kitchen, an indoor and outdoor dining area and a lounge. Other facilities include a TV, DVD and music system plus a large sun deck with enough sunbathing mats for all guests.

Water sports on board include canoe, snorkelling gear and fishing e quipment.

How does charter Agreement work ?

Once your chosen Gulet yacht has been confirmed, we will send you a standard Gulet Broker Yachting charter agreement that needs to be signed. If your chosen cruise route requires a different embarking or disembarking place other than the gulet’s central harbor, delivery/redelivery fees may apply.

Payment Options

We will require a 50 % deposit of the gulet rental to secure your reservation in Turkey, this is payable by bank transfer. The remaining balance including food monies, is payable 5 weeks before departure by bank transfer or alternatively the full amount may be paid in cash on arrival.

In each cabin, air conditioner, bathroom with shower, household toilet, hair dryer, bathroom and hand towels. In the lounge, dining table, bar, seating group, LCD TV, music system. Air conditioning usage time is 8 hours daily.

We offer full board accommodation for your yacht charter. You can choose between standard, luxury or deluxe menus and pay between 35 and 75 Euros per person per day.

You can supply your alcoholic beverages or you can order us.

All service is provided by boat staff.

Most of the gulets are rented on a WEEKLY basis from Saturday to Saturday, especially during high season (June-July-August-September). Smaller gulets with lower capacity can be rented for shorter periods. In May and October, which is called the Low Season, charters can be done for any period.

The time of boarding is after 3.00 pm on Saturdays and disembarkation is by 10.00 am following Saturday.

If you wish to exercise your right to cancel the reservation, the following cancellation conditions apply, depending on the date interval in between approving and canceling a charter agreement;

a) If cancellation is done 90 days prior to arrival, the deductible will be 20% of the total charter price  

b) If cancellation is done between 89 and 30 days or less prior to arrival, the deductible will be 50% of the total charter price

c) If cancellation is done 29 days or less prior to arrival, 100% of the total charter price will be required

It’s small and friendly and you don’t have to look far to find a boating enthusiast!

With six marinas and hundreds of boats and yachts, Göcek is a world-famous centre for yachting, thanks in no small part to the delights of the surrounding Turkish Riviera. It’s not only a great stop but a great starting point, with Kekova, Kaş, Ölüdeniz and Yassica Islands all within reach as well as the paradise-like coves of Göcek Bay itself.

The crew is committed to serve you with utmost attention such as organizing daily activities in the boat, cleaning, general service, meals and drinks. Safety and comfort of our guests is an absolute priority and the crew has been trained to ensure that.

Angelo 2 dining saloon including cabins, are air-conditioned. There is a fully equipped kitchen, an indoor and outdoor dining area and an air-conditioned lounge. $2 Million Gift for Angelo State Athletics

Just days after Angelo State University’s announcement of its “ Leading the Charge ” centennial capital campaign, ASU has received a $2 million gift from the local Stephens Family toward one of the campaign’s top priorities, establishment of the Angelo State Athletics Endowment.

As a result of Angelo State’s sustained success in intercollegiate athletics, many ASU coaches are annually courted by other universities, often at the Division I level, seeking similar outcomes for their athletics programs. The Angelo State Athletics Endowment will provide annual distributions to support a bonus structure for high-achieving ASU head and assistant coaches, with the goal of recruiting and retaining the best coaching staff for student-athlete development and success, as well as provide support for general needs of ASU athletics.

With the $2 million gift from the Stephens Family – Steve and Pollyanna Stephens, Randy and Susan Brooks, and Devin and Liz Bates – ASU is now about halfway toward reaching its $5 million campaign goal for the Angelo State Athletics Endowment.

During the most recent 2023-24 seasons, Angelo State athletics teams again enjoyed the types of success that make Rams and Rambelles coaches popular targets for other universities. That success included:

Angelo State annually fields about 350 student-athletes in 15 intercollegiate sports, including six men’s sports and nine women’s sports. They are guided by approximately 35 head, assistant and graduate assistant coaches.

Ângelo Gabriel moves to Saudi one year after joining Chelsea

The unlikely career arc of Brazilian teenager Ângelo Gabriel continued when he completed a move to Saudi team Al Nassr in a reported $25 million deal on Tuesday, a year after joining Chelsea from Santos .

In the year he was on Chelsea's books after a $17 million move, Gabriel never played for the English club because he went on loan to Strasbourg -- one of the teams owned by Chelsea's American investors.

The 19-year-old was part of Chelsea's squad for the preseason tour of the United States but has left on a permanent deal to Al Nassr where he will play alongside Cristiano Ronaldo .

The move was announced a day after the Saudi transfer window shut and will help Chelsea meet financial rules in the Premier League and UEFA competitions.

Another Brazilian teenager, Deivid Washington , joined Chelsea from Santos last year around the same time as Gabriel and came close to making a permanent move to Strasbourg, but sources have told ESPN that the west London club cancelled the transfer after concerns were raised about the deal and whether it complies with competition rules.

"We wish Angelo the very best as he begins the next chapter in his career and thank him for his efforts during his time with Chelsea," the Premier League club said in a statement .

Gabriel became the youngest player in the history of Brazil's national championship at the time when he made his senior debut for Santos at 15 years, 308 days.

Monday was Transfer Deadline Day for the Saudi Pro League, and among the deals struck in the final hours was the transfer of young winger Ângelo Gabriel from Chelsea to Al Nassr, one of the PIF-funded teams in that league.

Ângelo had spent all of last season on loan at RC Strasbourg after joining Chelsea from Santos last summer. The 19-year-old did not score any goals, but he was a first-team regular (with four assists in all competitions) before missing the last couple months of the season with a sports hernia. The Brazil U20 international, who has extensive senior professional experience already despite his young age, had also impressed in his two summer tours with the Chelsea first-team.

Chelsea are turning a tidy profit with this deal, having acquired Ângelo for around €15m and now collecting €23m, reportedly , with a sell-on clause as well. The teenager has signed a five-year contract with Al Nassr, where he will be teammates with Cristiano Ronaldo and Sadio Mané. Not bad!
