Our experience with JUST DREAMING YACHT CHARTERS was overall good. The crew was professional and the yacht was in good condition. We enjoyed the scenic views and had a relaxing time on board. While we expected a bit more in terms of luxury, the trip was still enjoyable. We would consider booking with this company again for a future yacht charter.

A Tour of San Francisco Bay

While the conditions on San Francisco Bay may change from moment to moment, for years we have been able to show some of the great treasures of California. Typically, we leave Pier 40, South Beach Harbor, and travel along the City skyline, turning just past Coit Tower and passing close to the Rock (Alcatraz) for a glimpse of history and the backdrop for many movies, then we are in view of Angel Island and some of the First World War Forts (The West Garrison), we are in view of the tiny fishing village which has become a modern haven for many of the rich and famous (Sausalito), we come within range of the Golden Gate Bridge, a photo opportunity rarely missed. We proceed to view the Presidio of San Francisco and her historical treasures, returning along the North side of the City skyline, slowly finding our way back to Pier 40. This route can change with weather conditions and the Captain’s assessment ensuring safety for each excursion.

Imagine walking with your fiance where the mountains of Ayala Cove surround you, or the hills of Angel Island are your nuptial surroundings. Create the environment you will remember forever, and the scenery your guests will never forget. The bay has so many treasures and scenery that make a wedding perfect. Breathtaking views, majestic backdrops, and warm colors make the perfect setting for photos and ceremony.

Angel Island (with hike and BBQ)

Leave San Francisco before the crowd even knows you’re gone. Travel across the bay with a hot cup of coffee and a gentle breeze in your face. Arrive at Ayala Cove and head to Perimeter Trail Road. Walk towards Tiburon and Sausalito for breathtaking views over the bay. Continue around the island to the West Garrison and remnants of military life from the late 1800’s. Continue on to 16-inch gun batteries and Nike Zeus missile sites staged to protect the bay. Views of San Francisco, Treasure Island, Oakland, and Berkeley are spectacular. Finish up at the East Garrison. From there, you climb past immigration station and return to Ayala Cove. You’ve completed a 7.5-mile walk and are now ready to indulge yourself in food and relaxation. Upon your return enjoy your BBQ lunch and a cool drink. Then, return to Just Dreaming for the one-hour ride to San Francisco. What a spectacular day.

A Junior Pirate birthday party with Señor Pirate

Yoho, Yoho, it’s a pirate’s life for me. Your child finds Long John Silver’s hidden treasure map floating in a bottle in San Francisco Bay. It is clearly marked as it comes out of the bottle within X where the treasure is right on Angel Island. He or she and ten friends travel by Just Dreaming to Angel Island to find the buried hidden treasure. As they approach the lair of the pirate they find a chest hidden under a tree. The big black chest contains the treasures of the players. As they begin to carry away the Pirates treasure they hear the voice. “RRRRRrrrr you little landlubbers trying to steal my treasure? Well, I will run you through!” The battle of wits is on. The children ultimately convince the pirate that the reason he is a mean, nasty, ugly, old pirate is because he never learned to share when he was a child. The children come to the pirate one by one to explain the virtues of sharing with their friends and neighbors. Slowly but surely the Pirate opens his chest and each child gets a black eye patch, a red bandanna, Mardi Gras beads, stickers, wash off tattoos, and ultimately 2 handfuls of Jolly rancher candy. The day only get sweeter from there.

Cruising the Hidden Treasures in Northern California Backwaters

Northern California holds thousands of secret treasures in its rivers which go from as far north as Redding and south to Stockton. Thousands of miles of waterway await discovery. Many families consider this their ultimate vacation land, while others enjoy the scenery. You with your friends and or lover travel the backwaters of Northern California. See the most romantic and picturesque sites that are not accessible by car. The average trip over these backwoods and backwaters is at least 4 to 5 days.

The 5th edition of the International exhibition of yachts and boats –  Moscow Boat Show , held from March 20 to 25, 2012 will be hosted by the first pavilion of Crocus Expo International Exhibition Centre. This popular show is dedicated not only to the specialists of the market segment and professional sportsmen but also to those who consider sailing sport to be their hobby and well cherished dream.

The project is the result of joint efforts of the Crocus Expo International Exhibition Centre and the National Marine Industry Association. The event is supported by Aston Martin Moscow, Burevestnik Group logistics department and the Yachting specialized magazine. Moscow Boat Show is the largest project in Russia presenting all the best in the world of yachting.

The exhibition annually shows high level of attendance and has already proved as significant and noteworthy event in the world of yachts and boats. Every year new exhibitors join the list of participants, genuine “sharks” of yachting business, the quantity of visitors considerably increases and the exposition becomes more sated and diverse.

The best companies professionally involved into yachting and small navigation business – 180 exhibitors from 17 regions of the Russian Federation and 15 countries traditionally presented the best and the newest in the world of yachting at 2011 edition: from design and facilitation of vessels and up to cruising and training courses for beginning skippers. In 2011 the overall exhibit space comprised 18 000 sq m. More than 25 000 visitors came to the show.

This year the exposition space will increase up to 30 000 sq m and will be accommodated in 4 exhibition halls. The scale of the project confirms confident positions of its positive development. The organizers will try to arrange a genuine fiesta of water on land!

Quite a number of foreign exhibitors will participate in the show. Foreign companies show increasing interest to yachting business in Russia.

Moscow Boat Show provides the perfect platform from which to preview new products, evaluate market trends, and establish long-lasting and commercially profitable partnerships. Despite the dynamic changes taking place in Russia and the rapid growth of the yachting sector, the show continues to complement and reflect the industry’s demand and is a promotional opportunity not to be missed!

As its popularity and success rate has grown over the last years Moscow Boat Show 2012 has developed to incorporate more than just an exhibition. These special events serve to attract leading exhibitors and visitors and allow all participants the chance to broaden their knowledge and of course their sales potential.
