Monaco Yacht Show

The Monaco Yacht Show always promises a stellar lineup— last year had an unusually large number of wild launches—and this time around will be no exception. More than 120 superyachts, including 20-plus that measure 200 feet and above, will be on the docks at Port Hercule, with beautiful Monte Carlo in the hills above.

Among the fleet of anticipated launches is the 400-foot Kismet . Built by Lürssen and launched earlier this year, this stunner will be shown before the winter charter season, at a weekly rate of $3.25 million. The vessel is sure to stand out, thanks to the large silver jaguar sculpture fitted under its bowsprit.

Besides bling, showgoers will notice the concerted push toward sustainability this year. Rossinavi has introduced the Seawolf X , its first hybrid-electric catamaran, and Nautor Swan’s sailing maxi yacht, DreamCatcher , is also its first hybrid. Sanlorenzo is launching Almax , its first 50-meter (165-foot) vessel with hydrogen fuel cells. It was developed with Siemens Energy.

Siemens is also sponsoring the show’s Sustainability Hub, which has become a breeding ground for eco-friendly concepts and new ideas to promote a greener superyacht sector. This year’s conference will cover alternative propulsion, outlining how it will be adopted over the next five years. The show’s Yacht Design & Innovation Hub takes a less technical approach to sustainability. It’s the place where leading designers and mainstream innovators converge, presenting vessels that will shape the future of superyacht design.

Here are 11 must-see boats at this year’s show.

Lürssen ‘Kismet’

monaco yacht show list

The 400-foot Kismet is the most anticipated boat on display at Monaco this year. True to form, Shahid Khan’s third Lürssen, which charters for $3.25 million per week, will be an exceptional landmark in a marina of superyachts. Alongside its Nemo lounge for viewing marine life, a Balinese-inspired spa with the first chromotherapy bathtub on a yacht, and upper-deck dining options for 24 people, the vessel has a duplex owner’s apartment with two separate marbled bathrooms, a fireplace, and gilded wall coverings. When guests have had their fill of the DJ station and Bogányi piano, the ’80s retro matrix dance floor should keep the party going.

Royal Huisman ‘Special One’

monaco yacht show list

Set to make a splash is Royal Huisman’s 171-foot Special One , the largest sportfisherman in the world. Commissioned by an experienced yachtsman and passionate fisherman, the monster sportfish is kitted out with a fighting chair, 22 fishing rods, insulated cooler boxes, and a dedicated bait-and-tackle room. The teak foredeck can transition into a sheltered private lounge area and also converts to an outdoor cinema. Designed by Vripack, the vessel offers up proportions and seakeeping capabilities that are matched by its impressive 30-knot top speed.

Rossinavi ‘Seawolf X’

monaco yacht show list

Looming large above the water, the 140-foot Seawolf X is Rossinavi’s most ambitious build to date. The hybrid-electric catamaran is the Italian shipyard’s first multihull, which can stay in electric mode during transatlantic trips for 80 percent of the time. Even more impressive is the onboard artificial intelligence system—Rossinavi AI—which analyses the operation of the vessel, predicts the needs of guests and optimizes crew service and logistics. The interior is designed by New York-based Meyer Davis, with an exterior penned by Fulvio De Simoni Yacht Design. Its wow features include a cockpit centered around a pool, a second hidden pool on the bow area, and an outdoor cinema.

Bilgin ‘Eternal Spark’

monaco yacht show list

Eternal Spark is the first hull in Bilgin’s 163 series. In addition to six outdoor and three indoor lounge areas, the yacht can host over 100 people while at anchor from its five dedicated bar areas. Hot Lab’s use of wood inlays and embossed natural leather create a refined interior aesthetic, while the combination of a huge beach club, sauna, pool, and two cinemas—outdoor and indoor—should keep guests happy. Built with over 200 different materials, it shows how advanced the Turkish yard has become with its last few launches.

Sanlorenzo ‘Almax’

monaco yacht show list

Sanlorenzo’s first fuel-cell-powered 50Steel model joins a growing list of yacht launches exploring alternative power sources. The fuel-cell technology converts biomethanol (green methanol) into enough electricity to cover the hotel load so the yacht can anchor all night without generators. Almax also has Sanlorenzo’s newly patented Hidden Engine Room (HER), located on the lower deck. This novel configuration creates enough interior volume to include a 1,615-square-foot beach club with a pool and unfolding sea terraces, while keeping the yacht below 500GT. The shipyard has confirmed the sale of four units to date.

Custom Line50

monaco yacht show list

Making its global debut a Monaco, the four-decked Custom Line50 is the Italian shipyard’s new flagship model. The dedicated owner’s apartment on the upper deck includes full-height windows, a full-beam suite, and a large private terrace. The sun deck’s lounge seating, cocktail bar, uninterrupted views, and glass-edged infinity pool amplify the sense of being on a floating island. It’s an effective design that is replicated on the main aft deck. This area offers stepped access to the sea, a scenario that is reinforced by an aquamarine-and-cream interior color scheme.

Damen ‘Five Oceans’

monaco yacht show list

The newest model from Damen’s Yacht Support 53 range, Five Oceans was built for Tommy Allen, an entrepreneur committed to ocean exploration and marine conservation. The vessel will be easy to spot in Monaco’s Port Hercules, thanks to its powder-blue, orange, and white hull. The custom build is Allen’s second yacht-support vessel from Damen. It has a sprawling aft deck to carry toys and tenders as well as a 15-ton deck crane for the launch and recovery of the electric boats and Triton 3300 Pro submersible. Five Oceans also carries an Icon A5 amphibious aircraft.

Tankoa ‘Diamond Binta’

monaco yacht show list

Conceived as a world explorer, Tankoa’s 190-foot Diamond Binta blends a hybrid propulsion package with high-gloss finishes over a wooden interior. Penned by Francesco Paszkowski, Tankoa’s long-time design collaborator, the full custom build has an owner’s suite with a fold-out balcony, a forward helideck for shore-based excursions, a large beach club with a spa, and massage room as well as a sundeck with a gym and pool. A corridor on the lower deck connects the yacht’s five guest cabins to the beach area, passing through a viewable engine room.

Nautor Swan ‘DreamCatcher’

monaco yacht show list

As Nautor Swan’s first hybrid yacht, the 88-foot DreamCatcher is described by the shipyard as a “no-compromise cruiser with a racer’s soul.” Designed for guest comfort with a maximum heeling angle of 20 degrees, its exterior is penned by veteran Swan designer Germán Frers, while the light-wood interior with gray accents is done by Misa Poggi. The aft cockpit has a new coachroof design with an integrated sprayhood, bimini, and modular benches that can be used for both lounging and dining. The stern area incorporates a large beach club area and tender garage. On the foredeck is the “sunset lounge.”

Oceanco ‘H3’

monaco yacht show list

Built in 2000 as 312-foot Al Mirqab for a member of the Qatari royal family, the renovated H3 emerged from Oceanco’s facilities in 2023 looking brand new, with an extra 476 gross tons of internal volume. The vessel’s 33-foot extension—to accommodate the owner’s request for an infinity pool with a convertible dance floor and waterfall—and a fully replaced superstructure were enough for Lloyd’s Register to classify the yacht as a new build. A spa on the lower deck has a hammam, a sensory shower, a hair salon, and treatment rooms. The beach club with its rippled mirror ceiling offers stepped access to the sea.

Conrad ‘Extra Time’

monaco yacht show list

Extra Time , the second hull in Conrad’s C144 series, has an exterior by Reymond Langton Design and naval architecture by Diana Yacht Design. The interior is by M2 Atelier. Much like its sistership Ace , Extra Time has a beach club, four guest lounge areas, a cinema, two bars and an infinity pool. Standout personal touches include an attention-grabbing King Kong  sculpture in the main salon and the main-deck owner’s suite that’s accessed via a private study with an electric piano.

The Ultimate Guide to the Monaco Yacht Show 2024

By Frances Flannagan

Between the 25th and 28th of September, Port Hercule will be the site of unparalleled opulence, innovation and grandeur as the most esteemed event of the yachting calendar year takes place. Superyachts.com presents the ultimate guide to the Monaco Yacht Show 2024 (MYS), highlighting everything you need to know about the 33rd edition of the event.

Attended by over 30,000 guests, the Monaco Yacht Show remains the most anticipated event of the year for the superyacht industry. The 33rd edition of the show is set to be truly unforgettable, with over 120 yachts being presented, around 60 tenders being showcased, and 560 exhibitors in attendance from all aspects of the maritime sector.

The vessels set to attend this year will range from 29 to 122 metres, boasting an average fleet length of 50 metres. Positioning the MYS as the ultimate platform for the industry, 40 yachts are preparing to launch at the show alongside a spectacular display of world premieres. Visitors are able to truly immerse themselves in the world of yachting in the Dockside Area and the Sailing Yacht Area, where these feats of design and engineering will be anchored, ready for admiration from the attendees.

On the eve of the show, The Honours is returning for its second edition. This event is created by the Superyacht Life Foundation in association with the Monaco Yacht Show, drawing the attention away from the superyachts themselves and onto the impactful and inspiring people of the industry. Around 300 nominations were made this year, displaying the sheer dedication and passion of those in the superyacht world.

Another returning area of the show is the Sustainability Hub , which was first launched in 2022 as a breeding ground for innovation. Here, selected exhibitors are brought together in partnership with the Water Revolution Foundation, with sponsorship by Siemens Energy. This space highlights the MYS’ commitment to advancing sustainability in the industry, as a spectacle of cutting-edge technologies and sustainable solutions will be presented, greatly enhancing yachting practices.

The Sustainability Hub is not the only area of the show where the MYS’ dedication to eco-friendly solutions is showcased; the Yacht Design & Innovation Hub is an unmissable aspect of the event where attendees have the unique opportunity to glimpse into the future of yachting. This area will see 16 acclaimed designers unveil the most innovative and imaginative projects currently on the market and in the works, with each one addressing the theme of sustainability.

By providing an area where attendees can engage directly with the masterminds of the industry, the MYS showcases how sustainability is an intrinsic element to yacht creation, and to the show as a whole. Since 2005, the Monaco Yacht Show has been guided by a strong environmental commitment, ensuring that the event is as responsible as possible to reflect the innovations that are displayed at the event. Ways in which the show remains as eco-conscious as possible is through Mobility, Waste Management and Energy: an electric shuttle service is used to transport attendees throughout the show, reusable water bottles are provided and the event runs off exclusively green electricity, to name a few.

Over the course of the four-day event, 22 conferences will take place. Over half of these will be focused on sustainability and future innovations, including the unveiling of sustainable products themselves, showcasing yet another way in which the MYS is the ultimate platform for the future of the superyacht industry.

Alongside the superyachts themselves and the importance placed on sustainability, the MYS is also a hub for the latest and greatest industry toys. The Adventure Area is the ultimate playground for attendees, as the most spectacular yachting experiences and entertainment will be displayed. Visitors will be able to immerse themselves in the most state-of-the-art tenders, gadgets and accessories, alongside a stunning display of luxury cars, highlighting the sheer diversity of the event.

The MYS is a site of unparalleled luxury, and this is encapsulated to the highest standard in the Upper Deck Lounge. Overlooking Port Hercule, this chic venue is recognised as the social epicentre of the show, where exhibitors, attendees and owners can connect and converse. The Lounge is a space where luxury meets functionality, thoughtfully curated to allow for professional networking and the fostering of meaningful exchanges. The Sapphire Experience programme elevates the lavish nature of the show even further, offering VIP guests the opportunity to experience the show from an exclusive perspective.

Extending exclusivity to the beating heart of the industry, the Official Captains and Crew Lounge is a highly appreciated area of the show. This venue offers the Captains and the Crew in attendance a space for both relaxation and enjoyment alike, with high-end services and a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Year upon year, the Monaco Yacht Show remains a site of industry excellence, with the 2024 edition set to be bigger and better than ever. For anyone wishing to immerse themselves fully in all aspects of the industry, the Monaco Yacht Show is a truly unmissable event: the ultimate showcase of luxury, innovation and an unwavering commitment to the future of yachting.

The principality of Monaco has a calendar that’s filled with major events. While the financial benefits of this little tax haven ensure its population remains fairly well stocked with super-rich and socialites year-round, it’s these events that truly bring the masses. April calls for the tennis at The Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters; in May it’s time for the Formula One Grand Prix ; June brings the world-famous car show Top Marques ; and summer draws to a close with perhaps the most glam of the bunch, the Monaco Yacht Show, which this year falls on September 25 – 28.

For those interested in gazing upon some of the finest yachts that can be found anywhere in the world, Monaco ’s Port Hercules is a pretty good spot year-round, but for the weekend of the Monaco Yacht Show, things enter a different league.

The Monaco Yacht Show is essentially a gathering of the global superyacht community. From owners to innovators, manufacturers and brokers, all head to the principality. Each year, builders and brokers present around 120 superyachts and 60 luxury tenders , with many of these reflecting current industry trends and revealing the potential future direction of the industry. These vessels boast an average length of around 160 ft, with a sprinkling of superyachts that top the 320 ft mark – with this year’s headliner clocking in at 400 ft.

Aside from the yachts themselves, visitors can expect countless designers improving yacht interiors and engineers working to ensure the industry becomes more sustainable. There’s sure to be a lot going on.

So ahead of this year’s event, Elite Traveler has looked into which yachts will be on display at Port Hercules and curated a list of some of the show’s unmissable vessels. So blow the dust off your Panama hat and add a few zeros to your credit card limit, because these are some of the biggest, boldest and most expensive boats attending the 2024 Monaco Yacht Show.

The undisputed biggest headline of this year’s show – in every sense of the word – Lürssen’s Kismet will be the largest yacht to go on display in Port Hercules. While the previous title holder was another from Lürssen, the 377.6-ft Ahpo, the Kismet takes its victory by a considerable mile, clocking in at 400 ft. Previously known as Project Jag, the Kisamet was handed over to owner Shahid Khan in May 2024, making it one of the show’s newest deliveries, too.

With exterior design by Nuvolari Lenard and naval architecture by Lürssen Yachts along with Reymond Langton Design working on the yacht’s interiors , Kismet is decked out with a helipad, beauty salon, indoor and outdoor cinema, dance floor and gym. Perhaps unsurprising, but all this makes Kisamet one of the most expensive yachts to charter , too, asking for €3m (approx. $3.4m) per week with Cecil Wright & Partners.

Delivered in 2019 by SilverYachts and refitted in 2024, the almost 280-ft, self-described ‘sports activity vessel’ Bold takes center stage at Monaco Yacht Show 2024. Designers Espen Øino created the superyacht’s striking, military-inspired exterior, creating a unique glass-enclosed loft on the upper deck that covers over 3,200 sq-ft of interior space. Meanwhile, Vain Interiors has created an opulent, New York-style loft, which is built to accommodate up to 12 overnight guests in eight luxurious staterooms and can carry up to 96 passengers while cruising.

With a a huge selection of water toys, a vast outdoor entertaining area with a bar and Teppanyaki grill, a cinema, an eight-person hot tub and a lounge surrounding a firepit, it’s no surprise that the Bold is a popular charter yacht, with Holl Robinson asking €875,000 ($972, 800) per week.

Following an extensive, three-year rebuild, the most expensive superyacht on the market has returned to Port Hercules for 2024, complete with a new look – and price tag, too, asking for €295m ($328m). The 344.5-ft Oceanco H3 superyacht has already picked up a handful of international awards for the new look and is expected to impress many fans at Monaco Yacht Show 2024.

In addition to the extra 10 meters that were added to the H3 ’s hull, the rebuild – from the likes of Reymond Langton Design, which worked on both the exterior and interior redesign, and the collaboration between Lateral Naval Architects and Oceanco on its naval architecture – also saw a pool deck, huge spa and wellness area and climate-controlled winter garden added to H3 ’s numerous amenities.

With its distinctive, shark-like exterior design, the 295-ft superyacht DAR will be hard not to miss at Monaco Yacht Show 2024. Built by Oceanco with exteriors designed by Luiz de Basto Design, the glossy black silhouette was inspired by the look of the hammerhead shark, with sinuous lines, wide set wing stations and a mast modeled after a dorsal fin.

Meanwhile, renowned Italy-based studio Nuvolari & Lenard has crafted swooping, contemporary interiors. DAR’s impressive features include a complete owner’s deck, complete with a private salon and jacuzzi, a wellness area, an impressive beach club, and two helipads for private use. Offering grandeur and complete privacy in equal doses, DAR can accommodate up to 14 guests in overnight accommodation, with separate living quarters to host as many as 31 crew members.

Despite only hitting the waters in June this year, the first wallywind110, Galma , is set to make its global debut at Monaco Yacht Show 2024. Measuring almost 110 ft, Galma ’s naval architecture comes from German studio judel/vrolijk & co while interior and exterior lines are designed by Wally in collaboration with Santa Maria Magnolfi. With a design that offers the comfort of a cruising yacht while maintaining the performance of a racing boat, Galma is characterized by the 22.6-ft telescopic keel and an all-carbon hull that has been painted in light metallic blue.

Other highlights of Galma include an 860-sq-ft full-beam cockpit with seating and dining for up to 15 people, as well as an open-plan raised saloon. Galma can accommodate up to eight guests overnight, with five crew members.

About the Monaco Yacht Show

The Monaco Yacht Show (MYS) is an annual international show dedicated to the world of superyachts.

Inaugurated in 1991, the show is held over four days in late September in the Port Hercule of Monaco.

The MYS is divided into two main exhibition areas: afloat and on the quayside.

Afloat, +100 superyachts and +50 luxury tenders are displayed by the most renowned builders and brokers in the market.

450 hand-picked companies, representing excellence and innovation in yachting, exhibit on the quayside: designers and naval architects, yacht suppliers and service providers or manufacturers of tenders and nautical gadgets. In recent years, the show has extended its exhibition offer to the ultra-high-end markets intrinsically linked to the art of living superyachting by showcasing cutting-edge technological solutions in yachting, luxury products, cars and motorcycles and also helicopters or private jet manufacturers.

The Monaco Yacht Show is world-renowned for the exceptional quality of its superyachts and their impressive length: among the +100 units on display, +40 new models are unveiled as world premieres each year. The fleet has an average length of 50m and mega yachts exceeding 100m.

The show has become an emblematic event for private visitors who come to discover an outstanding concentration of superyachts available for purchase or charter and to meet the industry experts in the festive and glamorous atmosphere of the Principality of Monaco.

The Monaco Yacht Show is organised under the High Patronage of His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco.

Currently, with over 130 yachts set to attend this year’s show, including 74 yachts making their debuts in Monaco, the show promises plenty of standout vessels available to view.

One of the most exciting new yachts will be Lurssen’s 115m/378ft motor yacht AHPO . A recent addition to the charter fleet, she will be drawing in plenty of attention with her Nuvolari Lenard exterior styling and palatial interiors.

On the same dock, Golden Yacht’s latest offering in the shape of 88m (289ft) superyacht Project X will also be causing a buzz. Freshly delivered, show-goers shouldn’t miss the opportunity to step on board to admire her beautiful Massari-designed interiors, as well as her 7.5-meter by 3-meter glass-enclosed swimming pool on her aft main deck and vast beach club featuring comfortable lounging area and bar, alongside a wellness suite with Hammam and Finnish Sauna.

Another star of the show will be the 85m (279ft) luxury explorer yacht VICTORIOUS , who wowed visitors last year with her distinctive sleek lines culminating in a 2-meter bowsprit and impressive array of charter-rich features and family-friendly amenities, not to mention the luxury Rolls Royce perched on her helideck bow!

The 75m (247ft) superyacht KENSHÕ will also be making waves for those keen to experience her zen-calm interiors up-close. Launched earlier this year, the innovative vessel redefines the concept of space and layout, providing guests with the ultimate luxurious platform to relax, entertain and socialize onboard.

Where to eat at the Monaco Yacht Show 2022

In Port Hercules, there are a variety of options available for snacks and refreshments, including the Upper Deck Lounge bar & restaurant run by the renowned Fairmont Monte-Carlo, as well as the Sapphire Lounge – a VIP bar and dining experience open exclusively to Sapphire badge holders – both located near the Parvis Piscine entrance.

Monaco itself has no shortage of restaurants to suit every occasion and palate during the show. For something more casual, Rue Princesse Caroline is lined with different restaurants that are well-suited to a light bite.

In the evenings, COYA Monte Carlo is where the in-crowd head for Latin-American fusion and a warm reception. The cocktail menu is expansive, so be sure to try one of their specialties and soak up the buzzy vibes as the evening wears on.

If it’s a sophisticated meal you’re after, Nobu is the ultimate choice. Expect a luxurious backdrop, a refined Japanese menu and a sensational taste experience among fellow show-goers.

Where to party after the Monaco Yacht Show 2022

As ever, Buddha-Bar will be one of the most popular venues for post-show partying in Monaco. The restaurant-bar crossover is a regular stop-off for those looking to dine and dance to the soundtrack of live DJ sets.

Twiga has a similar vibe, with a stellar menu coupled with an unrivalled club scene later in the evenings. Expect Methusalems of champagne topped with sparklers, dazzling entertainment and a no-holds-barred party vibe.

Twiga will be hosting plenty of Monaco Yacht Show-themed parties over the course of the show, so you’d be remiss not to pay the venue a visit, even if it’s just for a cocktail on the terrace.

For a true taste of French Riviera party life, look no further than Jimmy’z. This iconic club will be in full swing over the course of the Monaco Yacht Show, and will be amping up the entertainment with live performances from dance troupes and deck-spinning DJs.

Where to relax after the Monaco Yacht Show 2022

After the show, take the time to unwind and soak up the last of the Mediterranean sun.

Nikki Beach Monte Carlo is still going strong on the roof of the Fairmont Hotel, and offers poolside lounging and a summery soundtrack throughout the day, offset by spectacular views over Port Hercules and the yachts at anchor opposite the marina.

A little outside Monaco in the small town of Eze lies one of the best-kept secrets in the South of France. Anjuna Plage occupies a thin sliver of beach, and boasts a premier restaurant, boutique shop and a laid-back vibe that makes it a fan favourite. Best accessed by yacht, it also has a roster of A-list clientele.

Where to visit after the Monaco Yacht Show 2022

The French Riviera is one of the most beautiful regions in the Mediterranean and has no end of things to see and do. In Monaco, visitors can explore the decadent Monte Carlo casino, browse the Private Collection of Antique Cars of H.S.H. Prince Rainier III or admire the incredible selection of marine life at the Oceanographic Museum of Monaco.

Afterwards, stop by neighbouring Menton to visit Mirazur, a restaurant that was named the Best in the World for 2019.  Then, pay a visit to the Val Rahmen Exotic Gardens for an afternoon of botanical bliss.

Head over to Nice for a day of sightseeing and walking the cobbled streets of the city, taking the time to explore the famous Matisse Museum and the pink palace of Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild.

Those looking to travel even further afield can stop by the spa at Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes or take a boat ride out to the Lérins Islands  outside the bay of Cannes , where you will find the famous Abbey and the superyacht hotspot of La Guerite, a beach club and restaurant on the island.

H3 superyacht for sale with Edmiston at the Monaco Yacht Show 2024

A handpicked selection of superyachts on display at the Monaco Yacht Show 2024

The much-anticipated Monaco Yacht Show is a time to celebrate some of the industry’s most prized superyachts. But for prospective buyers, navigating the complexities of purchasing a new yacht requires the expertise of a seasoned broker. Among the top brokerage houses at this year's event is Edmiston , following an outstanding year with impressive sales figures.

With 30 yachts sold so far in 2024 alone, totalling over €1.1 billion in sales, Edmiston has secured a dominant 25 per cent market share of the global transaction value, and 28 per cent in yachts over 50 metres. Remarkably, the brokerage boasts the fastest sales time in the industry, with its central agency yachts selling at twice the speed of the market average. As excitement builds for the show, BOAT highlights the standout superyachts Edmiston will be presenting to potential clients in Monaco.

Among the spotlighted superyachts is the newly transformed H3 , originally delivered as 95-metre Indian Empress in 2000 by Oceanco . Following an extensive full-scale rebuild at the same shipyard in 2023, the vessel now emerges as a modernised 105-metre, delivered in 2024 with the appeal of a brand-new yacht, complete with a full shipyard new-build warranty.

H3 presents a unique opportunity for buyers seeking a yacht that not only boasts contemporary design but also meets today’s stringent environmental standards, including full IMO Tier III compliance. The transformation was masterminded by the renowned Reymond Langton Design , which reimagined both the interior and exterior, replacing the original sharp interior lines with a more fluid, wave-inspired aesthetic.

Inside, H3 offers accommodation for up to 20 guests, with sprawling living spaces across the bridge, owner and main decks. The sundeck is an area for relaxation or even a workout with a view in the forward-facing gym, while the lower deck spa is a place to totally unwind, featuring a hair and beauty salon, massage room, Hammam and even a private hospital.

There is much to offer the adrenaline junkies too, with the yacht’s wide range of water toys and tenders, including Jet Skis, Seabobs, kayaks, SUPs, diving equipment and inflatables. Alternatively, you can enjoy a day of exploring hidden coastlines with the 10.1-metre Compass Open Sport tender, an 11.1-metre Compass Limo tender and two 6.2-metre Yachtwerft Meyer rescue tenders.

Superyachts to suit every taste

Edmiston’s fleet at the Monaco Yacht Show caters to a wide range of tastes and needs. Among the highlights is 80-metre Aalto , a go-anywhere cruising yacht designed for those with a passion for exploration and adventure. Wayfinder , a 68.2-metre support catamaran, is ideal for owners looking to expand their capabilities with extensive storage for tenders and toys. Superyachts with a proven charter record include 65-metre Resilience and 60-metre Samadhi , for owners keen to find something with strong commercial value. Other standouts include the 60-metre classic Feadship Lady Beatrice , for sale for the first time, and the meticulously maintained 55-metre Olympus , 54.3-metre Spirit and 50-metre Ela .

For sailing enthusiasts, Edmiston presents an extraordinary lineup. The 50-60-metre size range offers high-performance cruisers Fidelis and Salvaje , World Superyacht Award -winner Asahi or the charter-attractive Red Dragon . Moving into the smaller size bracket, Mariette of 1915 provides prospective owners with the opportunity to follow their classic yacht dreams, a 38-metre twin-masted schooner with a rich history. Alternatively, there will be two world-cruising sloops up for grabs, 34.9-metre State of Grace and 26-metre Mini Y .

Edmiston invites clients to explore these magnificent yachts at two key locations during the show: the Edmiston Pavilion at the Yacht Club de Monaco and its stand (QH19). Once again, Edmiston has partnered with business jet manufacturer Gulfstream, as well as Wajer and Range Rover, to ensure that guests can navigate the show with the utmost comfort and discretion. To book an appointment with Edmiston’s brokers at the Monaco Yacht Show and take the first step toward owning your dream yacht, contact the team today .

Making the market – The Monaco Yacht Show

An analysis of the superyacht market’s performance over the 33-year period since the show’s inception….

monaco yacht show list

After 33 years, and becoming the most important yacht show in the market, it’s appropriate to look at the market’s performance over the same time period to assess how the Monaco Yacht Show has potentially driven and grown our industry through being the most valuable shop window of our sector.

Having attended every single edition of the Monaco Yacht Show, it’s been a hugely interesting evolution to watch, with a relative handful of yachts in the early days to today’s vast array of superyachts in Port Hercule and at anchor, accompanied by hundreds of exhibitors and displays of goods and services. Like the sheer size and scale of the yachts we’re building today, I’m sure no one expected this Show to grow to the scale and complexity it delivers, especially Luc Pettavino, inaugural founder of the event.

Maybe its success is due to the Principality itself and its self-proclaimed status of the Capital of Advanced Yachting, supported by institutions like the Yacht Club de Monaco and global leaders like HSH Prince Albert. All of these factors have contributed to the Show’s continued success, and when you follow the growth curves and analysis of how the market has shifted and evolved, the two are a mirror image.

Unfortunately, we don’t have the historical lists of yachts attending every show, as that would reinforce the analysis, but it’s very clear to see that since the embryonic days of the small quayside event, opposite the old YCM, the fleet has been inspired and driven and ballooned thanks to the ability for our yards, designers and brokers to create a platform to showcase what our industry is all about.

monaco yacht show list

The annual LOA illustration is a clear visual chart that shows the LOA trends and the perfect presentation of how the markets enjoyed cycles and roller coasters during the GFC and a stabilisation amongst a core group of shipyards, followed by a recent upturn during Covid and the post-Covid feeding frenzy. The widening of the categories from 2005 onwards shows the increased appetite for yachts over 40 metres, but more interestingly after the GFC in 2012 we saw the arrival of a consistent flow of large tonnage above 90 metres, perhaps best described as the Oligarch years.

monaco yacht show list

The sailing yacht vs motoryacht chart is a really sad reflection on the demise of the sailing market and the desire for floating real estate with large volumes or villa-style accommodation, delivered by the myriad of shipyards building cookie-cutter platforms. The chart does show a glimpse of light at the end of the period and it would be good to see a resurgence of these stunning projects, with sailing and sustainability as a core strategic opportunity.

monaco yacht show list

The language of GT is a relatively recent trend and while yards and designers try to play with the volume of the smaller sized yachts below 500gt, they still make up the lion’s share of the market for obvious reasons. However, with the delivery in the past decade of some gargantuan projects with gross tonnage measured in several thousands, even as high as 15,000-plus gt, it is easy to spot the peaks of activity in the Northern Europe shipyards.

However, it is anticipated that the ratio of length to GT will stabilise in the future, where profile, balance, efficiency, regulations and even support yachts will keep the GT within reasonable boundaries, touching <3,000gt as a rule. However, the LOA data shows a relatively consistent trend, with vast numbers of semi-custom and production superyachts leaving shipyards in Italy, Turkey, the UAE and Asia consistently every year, which keeps the average on an even keel.

Essentially these three clear graphics are trends that can be aligned with the success of the Monaco Yacht Show and the success and stress of shipyards and their deliveries. Some years there were bumper years of new builds on display, some years there were a cross-section of yachts under distress sale. But it is clear that the Monaco Yacht Show is the barometer of our marketplace and the one place you can take the industry’s temperature and do a quick health check. The Surgery will be open next week.
