You will get acquainted with the favorite place of the Baku people, the Fountain squares and the National Flag, with the accompaniment of our guide you will rise to Baku cable car to Nagorny Park, where a beautiful panorama of Baku opens. There you can walkalong the Alley of Martyrs-until now considered the pride of the Azerbaijani people and will be at the foot of the Flaming Towers, three skyscrapers-the modern symbol of Baku.  Tours of the pearl of Azerbaijan-Icheri Sheher, he’s “Old Town” will be especially exciting. You will have the opportunity to review anancient town, the main symbol of which is the fortress of the Maiden Tower, an architectural monument of the 12th century. Here is the Palace shirvanshahs. This is a mandatory point for visiting the guests  of the city.   The Shirvanshahs’ Palace is the palace of the rulers of Shirvan, built in Baku in the 15th century under Shirvanshah Halilullah. The construction of the palace was connected with the transfer of the capital of the Shirvanshah state from Shamakhi to Baku. The palace forms a complex, which also includes a sofa, a burial vault shirvanshahs, a palace mosque of 1441 with a minaret, a bath and a mausoleum of the court scholar Seyid Yahya Bakuvi. Of course, one should not forget about the “Juma Mosque”, an ancient religious monument. And it is necessary to go to the famous Azerbaijani artist Ali Shamsi, his workshop is in the Old City.    Tours to the Cultural Center named after Heydar Aliyev.In the accompaniment of our guide you will begin an excursion to the Cultural Center named after Heydar Aliyev.The building of the Cultural Center was designed in 2007 by the studio Zaha Hadid Architects, created by Zaha Hadid, the only woman awarded the highest award in the field of architecture – Pritzker Prize. The building was created in a characteristic Zaha Hadid style, in which straight lines are used. The building of Heydar Aliyev Center according to the architect’s concept is the embodiment of the development of modern Azerbaijan and its connection with the past and the future. The center is divided into three parts. So, one part is occupied by the Heydar Aliyev Museum, on three floors of which there is a collection of exhibits telling about the life and activities of the leader of Azerbaijan. Another part of the center is an exhibition area with galleries in which exhibits on  archeology, history, national creativity of Azerbaijan are presented. There are also several rooms with the works of contemporary artists and photographers, both from Azerbaijan and other countries of the world. The third part of the center is occupied by a 4-level concert hall, called the Auditorium, with conference facilities and a media center.

 After lunch Tour “The Mystery of Ancient Lights” on the sights of Absheron Peninsula:

• Temple of fire-worshipers Ateshgah (“Ateshgah”) in the village of  Surakhany (XVII century),

• a medieval castle (tower temple) in the village of Ramana (XIV century),

• Visit to nature reserves: “Yanardag” – the place of natural gas output.

   AT THE AFTENOON.Tour of the “Carpet Museum.” We will continue our excursion to the “Carpet Museum.” The Azerbaijan Carpet Museum was founded in 1967, becoming the world’s first specialized collection museum, preservation and study of carpet. His first exhibition was opened in 1972 year in Juma mosque on the territory of the ancient fortress of Baku – “Icheri Sheher.” The museum is a treasury of the Azerbaijani national culture, showing the carpet in close relationship with other kinds of traditional art of Azerbaijan. His collection  contains about 14 000 carpets, embroideries, clothes, copper wrought articles, items of jewelry, modern works of glass and wood.
