This is an awesome alternative for those who want to join a small group sunset sail to start their evening with appetizers and cocktails, but want to have dinner at a restaurant, or for those who are small eaters, and would be happy to order a few appetizers, have a cocktail and call it the night. The Hula Girl is considered one of the most luxurious sailing catamarans on Maui, and the only cruise featuring fine dining and all items are cooked to order, by a gourmet chef. A bar featuring an extensive list of wines, beers, and liquors is also available. You'll experience a totally different sunset compared to being on land. Your captain will take you sailing towards the sunset where you'll be in awe of the beauty of your surroundings. You'll get to see the islands of Lanai, Molokai, and of course, West Maui Mountains, on Maui. W e hope you'll take the time to "turn off" from the rest of the world for a couple of hours to enjoy this incredible journey, but if not, your cruise also includes free Wi-Fi. Due to its great popularity among those who have a taste for excellence, the Hula Girl usually books up in advance, in particular during spring break, summer, and during the Year End Holiday season, so advanced reservations are recommended. What To Expect

If you have booked a transfer, at the appointed time, the driver of the transport company Asia Global Yachting will arrive at your hotel/villa and will take you to Benoa Marina Harbour. You need to wait for the car at the reception of your hotel or near the villa.

At 9:00 a.m. the yacht departs and your adventure starts. First stop will be in 55-65 minutes. Get your cameras ready for astonishing sea views and unforgettable impressions. In this area, our guests often meet dolphins and flying fish.

The yacht will sail the Nusa Lembongan, Nusa Penida and Nusa Ceningan islands, stopping in quiet bays and at private piers. The water here is so crystal clear that visibility reaches 25-30 meters. Try snorkeling among hundreds of colorful tropical fish and living corals, explore rocky coastline and beaches on a paddle board, or rent a jet ski.

During the tour, you will be accompanied by an experienced guide who will gladly show you the best places for fishing and diving. Trust the yacht's staff and manage your time as you wish: catch fish with hooks, swim with a mask, or simply place your feet in the water and relax on a swimming mattress.

After some activities, you can have a snack on board or enjoy lunch (set menu) at Nusa Lembongan at the Pontoon Lago overlooking the breathtaking Agung volcano of Bali.

After lunch, you can return to the yacht or stay on the sacred beaches. The yacht departs the Nusa Lembongan island at 4:00 p.m and arrives at the Benoa Marina Harbour of Bali in an hour. From there, the transfer will take you to your accommodation.

• If there are significant waves at Manta Bay on the day of snorkeling, for your safety, the company reserves the right to replace this spot with Crystal Bay or another location

Cancellation Policy

• If the cancellation is made less than 48 hours before the trip begins, a penalty of 100% will be charged.
• A full refund is possible in the case of cancellation due to illness or other force majeure events with documentary evidence;
• Refunds are processed at the exchange rate set by the Bank of Indonesia on the day of payment;
• A full refund is provided if the service cannot be fully provided by the provider;
• The refund request will be processed within 5 calendar days from the date of the request;
• The actual refund will be completed within 14 calendar days from the decision date;
• Tour cancellation due to weather conditions is based on official information preventing the safe conduct of activities. Trip organizers have experience and knowledge of weather conditions along the travel route. No trip will be allowed, for safety reasons, if there is a prohibition on its execution;
• Subjective assessment of weather conditions by trip participants cannot be the basis for deciding on the execution or cancellation of the trip

Take a luxury snorkel trip while visiting the Island of Maui on the Hula Girl Sailing Catamaran! Cruise along Maui’s scenic coastline to find some of the best snorkeling on Maui!

Hula Girl beach loads from famous Ka’anapali Beach, which is a great experience all in itself. Ka’anapali is a World Class Resort area on a World Class Beach!

Once onboard, relax on the comfortable cushions & bean bag on the trampoline nets, sit on the couch beneath the mast or join the Captain in the VIP lounge sky bridge with panoramic views! It is a great place to watch for Turtles, Dolphins and the Humpback Whales.

Looking for some shade, there is a large and comfortable cabin inside with fabulous Ocean views.

The Hula Girl hires only the best Chefs on Maui, Hawaii! Their current Chef the day these photos were taken also works at Merriman’s in Kapalua.  All the Entrees are excellent, Fish preparations do change daily. Check out their Menu under our “What to Bring/Food” tab above

There are several choices for both breakfast and Lunch. You will be expected to choose your lunch entree early so the Chef may begin the preparation; however, you choose when the Chef will ‘fire it up”. With a full galley on board, your meal will be prepared for you whenever you wish. We highly recommend the fresh fish entree. The fresh Fish Tacos looked good as well, in fact, all of the Entree’s I saw coming out of the Galley looked great!

You will have plenty of time for snorkeling and scuba diving.  Whether you are a certified diver or wanting to try diving for the first time, you can upgrade to Scuba on the Hula Girl Snorkel Tour.

When you are done having fun in the warm Pacific Ocean, there are three hot showers on board. Hula Girl Snorkel Tour boasts a large, very clean women’s changing and powder room with vanity, there is plenty of room to change clothes and freshen up should you desire.

Whether you choose to Snorkel or Scuba Dive, the platforms on the stern (back of the boat) provide easy water entry with an easy gear up area. There is also a large ladder in front to make getting into/out of the Ocean easier.  Click on the Photos Tab for more photos of the inside of Hula Girl. 

The Hula Girl Snorkel and Scuba Cruise is one of Maui’s best and most luxurious. From the catamaran itself to the friendly and professional crew to the onboard galley and professional Chef! Everything is top notch. If you are out to impress, the Hula Girl is an excellent choice.

The Hula Girl Snorkel Tour is an awesome experience! However, we do not think it is a good choice for Babies ages 0-2 or the “more frail” of us, as the boatloads guests from Ka’anapali Beach. There may be high Surf/Waves at times.

There are 2 crew members at the bottom of the stairs to help you on board.

Hula Girl aims for Honolua Bay Marine Sanctuary every, however depending on weather conditions they may go to the sunken pier at Mala (some of the best Scuba diving here!) to or down to Olowalu to see the large Hawaiian Sea Turtles and one of Maui’s most healthiest Coral Reefs teaming with tropical Fish!

You must call at least 48 hours before the event for credit or refund to be applied. On September 10th   Hula Girl Sail Times will be changing for the Fall Season: - The Snorkel Scuba Sail will start check in at 9:15am and departure is at 9:30am - returning at 2:30pm.

Hula Girl will be operating with a reduced schedule in the fall season to confirm excursions until the Christmas Holidays December 20th when we will return to a full schedule for 2025.  Please feel free to contact us if you have a large group to discuss opening a specific date for a share boat or private charter excursion in advance.

TRIP OVERVIEW

Join the Hula Girl for relaxing West Maui snorkeling excursion. Cruise along Maui's scenic coastline to premier snorkeling destinations such as Honolua Bay Marine Sanctuary. See the majestic Humpback whales up close from the large stable platform of the Hula Girl. On every sail between the months of December through April, you will enjoy spectacular whale watching. Our knowledgeable captains and crew are marine naturalists who are happy to share information on an informal basis throughout your sailing excursion.

NOTE: We reserve the right to cancel trips if the minimum requirement of 16 passengers has not been met. 24 hours notice is required for all cancellations. All no-shows or cancellations made less than 24 hours before your cruise will not be refunded.
