The 95′ Dana Pride was built exclusively for Dana Wharf in 2002. The Pride is the largest and most comfortable vessel in our fleet and is said to be the queen of our fleet, complete with a full-service air conditioned bar/snack bar, flat-screen TV, large salon area, and two-story seating arrangement. This vessel can accommodate up to 149 passengers. This vessel is our largest whale watching boat, and it is the largest whale watching boat in southern California!

TWIN PRIDE Yacht Charter

Twin pride yacht description.

Represented by DMA Yachting, the breathtaking charter yacht TWIN PRIDE is a 51 ft sailing catamaran. TWIN PRIDE spends the summer and winter season in Greece. She was constructed by the renowned boatbuilder Lagoon in 2010. A succesful refit was finalized in 2019. The spacious yacht layout features 4 large cabins and easily accommodates up to 8 guests.

TWIN PRIDE is offered primarily as a sailing catamaran. The the heart of the yacht is the main saloon, which connects to the aft deck. The aft deck is generous, with a prominent dining and seating area and that's where most of the meals are served. The immersive cabins offer unbeatable views in the morning and are located just below deck. The cabins are connected by stairs to the main saloon - roomy, comfortable and pleasant. Multiple portholes offer desirable views, while providing privacy if needed.

The sailboat features 2x75 hp Yanmar 1/13,5 kw engines .

Captain: thanos imanimidis.

Captain Thanos Imanimidis His passion and love for sea - yachts, ocean and hospitality was sparked from a young age.Thanos is born in Greece. He has been a yacht skipper for 8 years, having done his Yachtmaster Ocean training. He was Owner of 3 boats when he started in Kavala and became an active skipper all around Greece and managed daily and weekly charters. He was also involved in the maintenance and repair of sailing and speedboats in cooperation with shipyards of each region. He is a skilled professional sailor and at ease with all aspects of yachts performance and operation. His excellent engineering and technical skills along with his friendly and kind manner of going the extra mile for his guests he is definitely an asset of Twin Pride. He speaks Greek and English Cook/Steward Vasilis Marinopoulos Vasilis is a qualified chef and a culinary expert with a passion for creative dishes. She has graduated from the cooking & hospitality institute of Chicago 2003 and his objects of study were Art cooking technique with specialization in cutting and preparation of meat and fish. He is also a cooking professor at Iek Akmi in Athens and holding certificates of Gastronomy essentials and Healthy cuisine. He has worked in various restaurants and joined yachting in 2014 on crewed sailing catamarans and motor yachts. Vasilis valuable experience in serving and his polite personality along with his positive attitude will make all his guests feel like home! He speaks Greek and English.

Navigated in Mediterranean, Pacific, Caribbean, Atlantic and North Sea waters. The primary focus is the safety of his guests and crew, and this combined with his commitment and seamanship skills, ensures a safe and enjoyable cruise for all. He holds a true passion and enthusiasm, is highly organized, trustworthy, and is meticulous in fulfilling any requirement, task, or duty to reach the maximum level possible. The expenses, such as provisioning, fuel, marina fees, are deducted from the APA. The APA is based on the price of the yacht and ranges from 15% (crewed sailing yachts) to 30% (motor yachts with higher fuel consumption). A Breathtaking Catamaran Wedding Aboard the Pride of Maui

Kara and Thomas hosted their destination wedding aboard “ The Pride of Maui ” catamaran and treated their guests to the most amazing oceanside cliff views of Maui.  The Hawaiian islands are simply breathtaking, and a slam dunk choice to host a wedding. It is an undeniably romantic and relaxing destination – and this wedding proves it! Going with a brilliantly clever theme of “Cinco de Maui,” this couple treated their guests to the type of party you’d expect on the fifth of May – one full of great Mexican food, drinking, and dancing. Everything was just gorgeous like the island itself. Their nautical-chic attire and decor played perfectly with the setting – especially Kara’s mermaid dress and long fishtail braid.

I especially love the many ways Thomas and Kara swapped tradition for something unique. For example, her bridesmaids carried parasols in lieu of bouquets – so cute… and functional in that Hawaiian sun! The faux flowers Kara made herself for her hairpiece and bouquet are gorgeous, and will never wilt! And of course, the very act of getting married aboard a catamaran in Hawaii is the biggest break with tradition of them all.   There is so much inspiration to be found in this gorgeous destination wedding.  I hope you enjoy these gorgeous photos, captured by Eva Rieb Photo , just as much as I did!

Q&A with the Bride

How did you meet.

We met online using the match dating site.

What is your proposal story?

We went on a mini vacation to Palm Springs for our 6 year dating anniversary and when we checked into the hotel, he had rose petals spelling out “will you marry me” on the bed. I walked in after him and he got down on one knee and proposed.

Tell us a little a bit about your vision for your destination wedding:

Our wedding was very much personalized to us. We got married on May 5 – also known as Cinco de Mayo. Our wedding hashtag was #cincodeMaui and our food was Mexican fajitas. Our colors were navy, rose gold and ivory. We got married with a small wedding party on a boat off the coast of Maui. I made all the wedding flowers out of paper, the bridesmaids carried parasols instead of bouquets, and our exit music was the theme song from “Top Gun”. We wrote our own vows and even though they were a surprise to each other- we both referenced “Top Gun”. It was what we watched on our 2nd date and is still his favorite movie.

Tell us about your attire.

It was a destination wedding in Maui so we kept it very simple and cool. Bridesmaids wore navy blue dresses they picked out from Azazie. Groomsmen wore Tommy Bahama shirts and pants with boating shoes. My dress was a mermaid style with a slit in the front and a light gold scalloped lace fabric. I wore a pink freshwater pearl necklace and I wore my hair in a fishtail braid. I’ve never felt more like a mermaid which is exactly what I was going for.

What was most important to the two of you while planning your catamaran wedding in Maui? Was there anything that you chose to splurge on or skip?

We splurged on Maui being our wedding destination. I splurged on my dress and on favors for the people who came all the way across the ocean just for us. We skipped on real flowers since costs were high and the landscape is beautiful enough.

What were your favorite parts of the wedding day?

My favorite part was getting ready with my bridesmaids, saying the I-do’s, dancing with my dad and the entire reception – which was a non-stop party.

Tell us about your wedding flowers.

I made my own bouquet and floral hair pieces. I used card stock to make rose gold plumeria flowers, navy blue poppies, and ivory swirl roses. I love the idea that it will always stay beautiful and will never wilt. The rose gold plumerias were accented with a freshwater pearl at the center. I also made mini ivory umbrellas for the groomsmen boutonnières to match the bridesmaids’ parasols.

Tell us about your wedding cake.

We planned to have cupcakes. Unfortunately, they never arrived due to the baker not filing properly and they missed the entire order. They accidentally filed it under the 15th instead of the 5th. Luckily we had churros on board to appease the crowds.

What did you do for favors?

I gave out personalized wedding bags with anchors on the front. It had our names, wedding date, and “Cinco de Maui” all in small print. Inside the bags were sunglasses, personalized chapstick, personalized shot glasses and coasters that said “Drunk in love” and a “Cheers” as well as bottle openers and bubbles for the send-off.

Did you include any family heirlooms or special traditions?

Both my mom and my mother in law gave me a hand embroidered heirloom handkerchief. I had one in my bodice and the other in my clutch.

Do you have any advice for couples planning their destination weddings now?

Don’t stress out. It’s impossible to do, but really try your hardest to relax. Take some time for yourself during planning to get a massage. And remember- most likely something will go awry. But you’re going to marry your best friend so anything bad that happens seems so minute in the grand scheme of things. Just enjoy the day you’ve been planning for so long.

What was the biggest challenge of planning your destination wedding?

The biggest challenge was communicating with all the guests where to be and when. Since our venue was mobile, the guests really only had one chance to get aboard. It also meant my timeline couldn’t get off track or I could miss my own wedding! Plus finding vendors while not being in town was a very real challenge.

Captain Thanos Imanimidis His passion and love for sea - yachts, ocean and hospitality was sparked from a young age.Thanos is born in Greece. He has been a yacht skipper for 8 years, having done his Yachtmaster Ocean training. He was Owner of 3 boats when he started in Kavala and became an active skipper all around Greece and managed daily and weekly charters. He was also involved in the maintenance and repair of sailing and speedboats in cooperation with shipyards of each region. He is a skilled professional sailor and at ease with all aspects of yachts performance and operation. His excellent engineering and technical skills along with his friendly and kind manner of going the extra mile for his guests he is definitely an asset of Twin Pride. He speaks Greek and English Cook/Steward Vasilis Marinopoulos Vasilis is a qualified chef and a culinary expert with a passion for creative dishes. She has graduated from the cooking & hospitality institute of Chicago 2003 and his objects of study were Art cooking technique with specialization in cutting and preparation of meat and fish. He is also a cooking professor at Iek Akmi in Athens and holding certificates of Gastronomy essentials and Healthy cuisine. He has worked in various restaurants and joined yachting in 2014 on crewed sailing catamarans and motor yachts. Vasilis valuable experience in serving and his polite personality along with his positive attitude will make all his guests feel like home! He speaks Greek and English.

Twin Pride is our Lagoon 500 Catamaran available for private crewed yacht charters throughout Greece. Twin Pride is a spacious sailing catamaran able to accommodate 8 guests in 4 luxurious double bed cabins, all with en-suite facilities. Air conditioned throughout. Twin Pride offers amazing views from her large decks and bridge and a TV and DVD entertainment system in the lounge area. Along with the amazing onboard facilities, Twin Pride also has some great sea toys for holiday fun including a RIB outboard, water skis, donut and SUP!

Accommodation. 8 guests in 4 double cabins, all fully air-conditioned with ensuite facilities.

Charter rates includes: Yacht’s insurance, crew wages & supplement

Charter rates exclude: V.A.T. Taxes of 12% or 24%, **APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance) of 30% of the total charter.

**APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance) covers all the above expenses. This sum is estimated the 3 0% of the total charter fee. The captain keeps all the receipts of the expenses and at the end of the charter we do the final financial settlement. If during the charter the costs are beyond the APA, then additional funds will be required for the outstanding bills upon disembarkation  (payment by credit card/cash). If there is any remaining credit, the charterer will receive back the relevant amount of money (by cash/bank transfer).

Rossinavi to premiere 43m Seawolf X at Monaco Yacht Show 2024

Rossinavi has announced that it will be premiering its "most innovative project" to date, Seawolf X , at this year's Monaco Yacht Show . The 42.8-metre hybrid-electric catamaran was delivered in August 2024 and is now cruising the Saronic Islands in Greece, according to BOATPro .

Exterior design is by Fulvio De Simoni Yacht Design , marking the first project presented by the pair since the 49.1-metre Aurora in 2017. It also marks Rossinavi's first multihull project.

A key characteristic of the model is her three "performance scenarios". On one-day trips, Seawolf X can cruise in full-electric mode for 100 per cent of the time; on multi-day trips, she can cruise for 90 per cent; and on transatlantic trips, she can still cruise in electric mode for 80 per cent of the time. When the catamaran is moored, a "hibernation mode" activates for reduced consumption – with the energy generated able to be given back to the quay or to a private property. She can recharge at the shore in five hours and supplies enough energy to charge up an entire villa.

Rossinavi has also developed an onboard artificial intelligence system, called Rossinavi AI, to analyse the operation of the vessel, predict the needs of guests and communicate with the crew on "lower-impact behaviours" and "conscious cruising". The AI can also monitor the battery pack to keep it in a range of 20 to 80 per cent.

Her exterior is low-profiled and reminiscent of a sports car, with Fulvio De Simoni Yacht Design seeking "to liberate their minds from preconceptions" around catamaran design. The team also integrated solar panels into Seawolf X and addressed hull efficiency by developing "lightweight solutions", including an anchor installation that meets weight standards while enhancing aesthetics.

New York-based design firm Meyer Davis have created an interior that "complements the cutting-edge yacht to bring relaxed luxury and sustainable design to its forefront," the shipyard said. The decor takes inspiration from nature, in particular the sun, the sea and sand.

Leisure highlights include a convivial cockpit centred around a pool, an expansive sundeck with sunbathing and living spaces, and a bow area that features a hidden pool and convertible home theatre. Accommodation is for up to 10 guests in four cabins located in the hulls.

"After years of study and construction, it is now a source of satisfaction and pride for us to witness the launch of project Sea Cat, now Seawolf X , the first hybrid-electric multihull vessel," said Federico Rossi, COO of Rossinavi at the time. "This yacht showcases remarkable technological innovations in both power management and propulsion technologies, marking the beginning of a new chapter in next-generation vessels." 

Seawolf X also carries the BlUE label, the shipyard' "sustainable" design philosophy established in 2022. Inspired by phytoplankton, the BlUE fleet absorbs sunlight during the day and utilises photovoltaic technology to convert it into energy. This energy is stored in advanced batteries and released at night, creating a bioluminescent effect "akin to glowing plankton".

This is our second time snorkeling with the Pride of Maui. The crew is very professional and took very good care of us. The location is stunning and the captain provides you with some history and geography on your trip over to Molokini. The fish are amazing but our highlight was watching an octopus move and then camouflage itself. To cap it all off its beers and cocktails on the way home.

Absolutely worth every penny! The boat is so clean, and the staff is very attentive to all your needs. The SNUBA dive instructor is very knowledgeable and he will keep you calm during your dive. I highly recommend trying SNUBA diving.
