The Formula One Powerboat Championship is a 6-race series contested  across North America from May through September. Established in 2017, the series  features weekend long community events highlighted by 20+ Formula 1 boats reaching speeds of 120 mph. U.S. Powerboat racing first began in 1903. Formula One racing for the last five decades, has been recognized as one of the world’s most spectacular racing experiences. The F1 boats lightning quick speeds of 120 mph, razor sharp turns, create nonstop challenges for the world class drivers.  The up close and personal, deck to deck, sponson banging competition creates thrills rarely experienced by boat racing fans. Cara nonton live streaming F1H2O 2023 Indonesia atau F1 Powerboat TVRI Minggu, 26 Februari 2023, mulai pukul 15.00 WIB.

tirto.id - Cara nonton live streaming F1H2O 2023 Indonesia dapat dilakukan melalui laman TVRI. Balapan F1 Powerboat ini digeber di Danau Toba, Sumatera Utara. Race utama berlangsung pada Minggu, 26 Februari 2023, mulai pukul 15.00 WIB.

Grand Prix (GP) Indonesia menjadi arena bagi para pembalap F1H2O 2023 untuk memulai musim teranyar tahun 2023. Pada edisi sebelumnya, Shaun Torrente (Team Abu Dhabi) finis sebagai juara F1H2O 2022.

Jadwal F1H2O 2023 Indonesia

Para pembalap F1H2O 2023 sudah menguji lintasan air Danau Toba pada Jumat, 24 Februari 2023, dalam sesi latihan bebas ekstra. Sesuai agenda, Shaun Torrente dan kawan-kawan bakal kembali melahap sesi latihan F1H2O pada Sabtu, 25 Februari 2023, mulai pukul 10.00 WIB.

Sedangkan race utama balapan F1 Powerboat Indonesia 2023 berlangsung pada Minggu, 26 Februari 2023, start pukul 15.00 WIB, dalam lintasan sepanjang 2,218 km itu.

Sebagai juara bertahan, Shaun Torrente tidak akan menyia-nyiakan kesempatan tampil perdana di Danau Toba. Rider asal AS ini juga mengaku terkesan dengan venue laga dan bakal tampil berhati-hati di atas arena.

"Ini adalah kesempatan besar untuk berlaga di Indonesia, khususnya di Danau Toba. Saya telah melakukan berbagai balapan di belahan dunia dan Danau Toba adalah salah satu yang terindah," beber Torrente, seperti dilaporkan Antaranews .

"Untuk persiapan besok, saya akan belajar dengan memanfaatkan latihan bebas ekstra. Tentunya karena ini kali pertama saya turun di Danau Toba, saya tidak boleh ceroboh," sambung pemilik total 3 gelar juara tahun 2022, 2019, dan 2018 itu.

Nantinya, Shaun Torrente akan bersaing dengan 19 pembalap dari 10 tim dalam ajang F1 Powerboat 2023. Bersama Team Abu Dhabi, Torrente juga kembali didampingi rekan setim musim lalu, Thani Al-Qemzi asal UEA. Al-Qemzi belum pernah mengangkat gelar juara sejak terjun perdana di tahun 2002.

Sementara tim lain yang turut menjadi peserta ialah Strømøy Racing F1H2O Team. Mereka mengandalkan pembalap Marit Strømøy (Norwegia) dan Bartek Marszalek (Polandia).

"Saya terkesan dengan persiapan Danau Toba dengan segala fasilitas yang ada. Saya telah mengunjungi banyak tempat dan Danau Toba memberikan sesuatu berbeda yang belum saya rasakan sebelumnya," beber Strømøy, rider wanita yang menduduki peringkat 13 musim lalu.

"Itu adalah hal yang unik. Terutama saya datang dari Norwegia yang memiliki cuaca dingin dan berbeda dengan Indonesia," lanjutnya.

R unner -up edisi 2022, Jonas Andersson (Swedia) berada di balik kemudi Team Sweden. Andersson juga kembali didampingi rekan setimnya musim lalu, Kalle Viippo (Finlandia).

F1 heads to the original ‘night race’ as the Marina Bay Street Circuit hosts the Singapore Grand Prix and round 18 of the 2024 season.

McLaren’s Oscar Piastri won an enthralling Azerbaijan Grand Prix last time out , with the McLaren star producing one of the drives of the year to beat Charles Leclerc, with George Russell taking third after a late crash between Carlos Sainz and Sergio Perez.

Lando Norris , despite starting 15th, finished a spot ahead of Max Verstappen in fourth to cut the Dutchman’s lead in the world championship to 59 points with seven races - and three sprint races - remaining.

It was, however, a difficult weekend for Lewis Hamilton , who finished ninth after starting from the pit-lane. Last year in Singapore, Sainz claimed a famous victory for Ferrari in what was the only 2023 race not won by a Red Bull car.

Formula 1 is scaling new heights in 2024 with a record schedule length of 24 races for the first time. All race weekends will be live on Sky Sports F1.

The season again started in the Middle East with back-to-back races in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. China returned for the first time since 2019, as the season's fifth round, while the British GP took place at Silverstone on July 7. The season will finish in December with the Abu Dhabi GP on December 8.

There will again be six Sprint weekends, at the Chinese, Miami, Austrian, United States, Sao Paulo and Qatar Grands Prix.

New F1 sprint format

The Sprint format for 2024 has changed in an attempt to create a better spectacle.

Following free practice on a Friday, Sprint qualifying (also known as the Sprint Shootout), rather than qualifying for Sunday's full-length race, will take place as the day's second session.

The Sprint will follow first thing on Saturday, before traditional qualifying comes later in the day, ahead of the race on Sunday.
