The hotel at the sea – that’s how the Lagoon SIXTY 5 is called. On the deck with a total area of 90 m² and in the cabins, more than 10 people can be comfortably accommodated. Basically, it repeats the motorized version of the Lagoon SEVENTY 7 – much larger and more expensive vessel. Two Volvo D4 engines with a capacity of 175 HP (instead of the standard 150) allow a cruising speed of 8-9 knots at 1800 rpm and a fuel consumption of 20 liters per hour. And of course, impressive sailing gear and equipment was also added.

The winches are installed in front of the mast, they are controlled through buttons from the flybridge. An additional option is the protection of the flybridge from the wind, in the basic version - a bimini awning.

The saloon occupies an area of 30 m², with the bar and dining area large enough for 8 people. It can house either a modest galley or a full-fledged kitchen - at the choice of the buyer. The 36 m² aft cockpit also features a galley, large table, plush sofas and cushioned loungers. The bow cockpit (13 m²) is the ideal place for sunbathing and evening gatherings in good company.

Cabins are located in the hulls of a cruise catamaran, in different versions - from 4 to 6 rooms ranging from 9.5 to 12 m². All cabins have all the necessary amenities. The owner's cabin can occupy an area of over 21 m² - this is half the area of the starboard hull. Crew Profiles: Jos and Julia hail from England and have been travelling together for over 11 years. After meeting whilst teaching watersports in Greece, they subsequently ran luxury ski chalets and villas in Europe before transitioning to yachting. They have been chartering in the Caribbean together for over 8 years.

Jos earned his commercial Yachtmaster qualification from the Royal Yachting Association and holds all the necessary credentials to safely captain AURA throughout your charter. He will also be your Divemaster onboard, showing certified divers the magic of the underwater world. We’ve lost count, but he has over 400 dives with guests here in the BVI. An avid fisherman, he will also spend hours with those wanting to fish!

Julia enjoys looking after the guests onboard and ensuring they are happy, having fun and never with an empty glass in hand! Originally from an educational background, she especially enjoys families and kids onboard. For active guests, she will happily take those looking for an adventure hiking on the trails around the BVI. Both love what they do and are committed to creating vacations you will remember for a lifetime.

Jos and Julia are joined by the fabulous Kim for the Summer of 2023. Kim is a phenomenal chef with 9 years of successful private and commercial charter experience with over 200 charters under her belt. Always respectful of guest preferences, her fun and colourful personality is reflected in her cooking, mixing available local produce with international flavours.

Charter Rates

Additional Rate Details: CHRISTMAS / NEW YEARS : 1-8 guests $70,000.00 – 7 night minimum. Christmas charters must end no later than the 26th December. New Years week charters cannot begin earlier than 27th December.

Luxury Crewed Charter Rates

The Horizon Yacht Charters BVI Crewed Charter rates are for 7 nights per vessel and are based on the number of guests. Please see individual yacht pages for detailed specifications and charter rates. Horizon Yacht Charters luxury crewed yacht charters come complete with your own personal Captain & Chef (and in the larger yachts, first mate and hostess).  NB some yachts may be skipper only (with the option of a chef) – they are stated as such. Your meals aboard are included in the rate and prepared to your group’s individual preferences and dietary requirements. Beverages are also included but please note special requests for specific brands may be subject to an additional charge.  Watersports equipment (such as paddleboards, kayaks etc) are also included and some yachts offer all-inclusive diving.

High season rates typically apply from December to April, and Low season from May to November, but please do check the seasonal rates for your yacht.

Each individual crewed yacht may charge for certain additional expenses (e.g. National Park Permit, Cruising permit, different port collections or departures).  Please ask for a full breakdown of costs for your chosen yacht. Additional supplements may apply at Christmas and New Year.

All yachts come with tenders with outboards and safety equipment. Please review the individual yacht specification on our website for further details of available equipment and details of inclusions and exclusions.

Yacht photographs and specifications act as a guide and are for information purposes only.  Although we endeavour to ensure that images are accurate reflections of the yachts in our fleet, certain aspects may vary slightly.

Please note that our bareboat repeat client discount does not apply to our crewed charter fleet.

Charter Rates shown above are for 7 nights per vessel (Christmas and New Year supplements on selected yachts). Crewed Charters usually start at noon and finish at noon, but please do check times for your particular yacht.

• Additional water-sports  (other than those included on the crewed yacht) are all available at competitive rates.
• Hotel Accommodations  throughout the islands can be arranged. Most major credit cards accepted.  Please check our Accommodations page for more information.

An Environmental levy of $10 per head is payable by all visitors to the BVI on arrival (effective 1st Sept 2017).

Bookings and Cancellations  – We require a 50% deposit to confirm the reservation and the balance due of 50% no later than 45 days prior to charter start date. A smaller deposit and interim fee may be acceptable for bookings made more than 12 months in advance. Cancellation fees apply, and vary from yacht-to-yacht. Please check the specific terms for your yacht at the time of booking.
