Built in 1927, Trinakria offers guest accommodation for up to 10 guests in 5 suites comprising a master suite, two double cabins and two twin cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 8 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht charter experience.

Whatever your activities on your charter, you'll find some impressive features are seamlessly integrated to help you, particularly Wi-Fi connectivity, allowing you to stay connected at all times, should you wish. You can stay comfortable on board whatever the weather, with air conditioning during your charter.

Trinakria is built with a steel hull and teak superstructure. Powered by twin Caterpillar engines, she comfortably cruises at 8 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 10 knots.

Set against the backdrop of your chosen cruising ground, you and your guests can enjoy fun on the water with the collection of water toys and accessories aboard Trinakria. Principle among these are waterskis that are hugely entertaining whether you are a beginner or a seasoned pro. Additionally, there are wakeboards so guests can show off at speed. STEP ONBOARD THE LEGENDARY TRINAKRIA

The breathtaking schooner trinakria for charter.

TRINAKRIA was initially designed as a training vessel for the Bulgarian state fisheries school in Varna on the Black Sea. However, her time was brief as she was sold in 1931 to German owners from Hamburg who renamed her CAROLA and converted her into a luxurious sailing yacht at the Schlichting Werft in Travemünde. During this time, she was the biggest private yacht in Germany. 

CAROLA sailed on private cruises on the Elbe and the North Sea. She was then sold again in 1938 to a French yachtsmen member of the Yacht Club de France. In the summer of 1939, she embarked on a scientific cruise, unfortunately, stopped by the outbreak of WWII in September 1939. CAROLA was sent to French Morocco in Casablanca, where she stayed during all the war and the following years, perhaps to save her from possible seizing in these war times. Her French owner decided to sell her in 1951 and called his friend Marin Marie, a famous marine painter and yachtsman, to sail her to Monaco to her new owner. 

Little is known of the boat’s life between 1951 and the ’70s. In 1970, she was sold to a Cannes based yacht captain and started a new life as a charter yacht under the name ZAMOURA, hired for films and cruises nearby Cannes. 

In these days, a mizzen mast was added, changing her to three-mast topsail schooner rigging. She was then sold again in the mid-70s to a Swiss hotel tenant of Zermatt and renamed ZAMOURA of ZERMATT and used as a private yacht based in Cannes and then in Saint Mandrier. She sailed for coastal cruises in the south of France and Italy for twenty years. 

The boat was towed to Agadir in Morocco, where she underwent another refit beginning in 2004 at Chantier Naval HESARO. In March 2012, she sailed to La Rochelle, where a further two years were needed to complete masting and rigging and all works needed to achieve her rebuilding as a charter yacht with all aspects of a classic yacht. In August 2014, TRINAKRIA was ready for sea and first sea trials under sails. TRINAKRIA then sailed to Morocco, Spain, Sicilia, Malta, South Italy, the Adriatic Sea, Greece and south of France. TRINAKRIA was seen attending classic yacht events in Cannes and Saint Tropez.

Built in 1927 by Wienerwerft and entirely refitted over ten years from 2004 to 2014, the 49 metre TRINAKRIA is a classic-styled, gaff-rigged schooner equipped with modern amenities. Her interiors reflect the 1920s charm and feature traditional wood flooring, planked ceilings, beams and paneling with artisanal leather furnishings giving a wealth of glamour. Her glamourous interior and exterior appears in several films throughout the 70’s. TRINAKRIA can accommodate up to 10 guests in her 5 well-appointed staterooms, each with private en-suite facilities. She can also host up to 70 guests at quay for one-off event charters. Vast teak decks and a raised main saloon provide panoramic views and an abundance of natural light. You will find a fantastic collection of water toys on board, including a Zartender, a wakeboard, stand-up paddle boards, fishing gear and snorkeling equipment, provide 21st century thrills. Equipped with three areas for al fresco dining, she provides an intimate setting for an elegant charter.

Built in 1927 by Wiener Werft, Trinakria is a legendary gaff-rigged schooner with a steel hull and wooden superstructure. She was entirely refitted by the current Captain over a 10 year period, from 2004 to 2014. Her engines were entirely rebuilt and her interiors have been returned to their former glory. The warm polished woods, classic white planked ceilings and crafted leather furnishings of Trinakria have appeared in a number of movies over the decades.

The history and design of Trinakria offers a level of nostalgia and seamanship unattainable by other styles of yacht, all the while providing the modern home comforts and technologies needed for a modern charter.

Her decks are laid to teak and offer a vast amount of area to relax, socialize and lounge in the sun. There are 3 alfresco dining areas; with the main deck providing 2 dining options, one just forward of the helm, seating guests comfortably under a Bimini cover if requested. This deck is raised providing uninterrupted views of the surrounding scenery. An additional alfresco dining table is forward, in a more intimate setting, perfect for casual dining or romance.

The main salon is also raised, providing panoramic views and an abundance of natural light.

TRINAKRIA can accommodate up to 10 guests in her 5 well-appointed staterooms, each with private en-suite facilities. She can also host up to 70 guests at quay for one-off event charters.

You will find a great collection of water toys on board, including a Zartender, a wakeboard, stand-up paddle boards, fishing gear and snorkeling equipment, providing 21st century thrills.

The yacht, a 348-foot luxury vessel known as Amadea, was seized in Fiji in 2022 by local officials at the request of the United States, as part of the Justice Department’s ongoing efforts to identify and seize assets of sanctioned Russian oligarchs in the wake of Russia’s 2022 invasion of Ukraine. Kerimov, known for throwing lavish parties and for his reportedly close relationship with Vladimir Putin, was sanctioned by the U.S. in 2018. Britain and the European Union later followed suit.
