I had an amazing experience on the yacht with Tara and Bob! Both of them were exceptional, and the service was top-notch. Tara did a fantastic job arranging the food beautifully and was always attentive to our drink needs. The floaties provided were also a great touch. I highly recommend this experience and will definitely be back!

Jason was so personable I can't imagine anyone leaving a negative review. He gave us a great tour of the lake, stopped for swimming spots, and would speed up or slow down depending on what our teens wanted to do (mostly sunbathe - lol). The boat was gorgeous and it was nice to not have to navigate for the morning. :)

This boat is a steal! Super fast, reliable and amazing for any water sports. Pick up and drop was as easy as it gets. Communication with owner was perfect. We got to enjoy a beautiful day on the lake full of tubing and wakeboarding. Will most certainly rent again!

Tristan was an excellent host with us and we couldn’t have been more happy with our experience. He was really good with communication, support, and best of all, safety. The boat ran really well along the beautiful waters of Oneida Lake. If you’re looking for something sporty but also comfortable and at ease then this is definitely the boat for you. Thank you once again Tristan for all the work and effort you put into as a host for us, we look forward to booking with you again!

RYC is home to over 400 active members, including a current US Sailing president, a leading competitor in Paralympic sailing, Junior Olympic medalists and hopefuls, and outstanding boaters of all types, from infants to 100+. As a private, not-for-profit, member-owned club, our shared love of the water creates a lifetime of fun experiences, cherished memories and friendships.

Founded in 1877, we are one of the oldest and most respected yacht clubs in the United States. Part of our rich history and enduring legacy, our members and their guests are invited to participate in a variety of on-water racing events, boating activities and educational programs. We are proud to be recognized by US Sailing for our commitment to hosting world-class regattas including one of our signature events, the US Sailing Junior Olympics.

Our marina is centrally located on the south shore of Lake Ontario, and provides easy access for day trips to other clubs, cruising to the St. Lawrence River & 1000 Islands to the east, the Niagara & Toronto areas to the west, and the Bay of Quinte to the North.

The warm and welcoming atmosphere of our clubhouse is the perfect spot for members to connect with friends and family, network and socialize, or just simply unwind and relax while enjoying a meal or a cocktail. Yes. We use a system called Cognito to ensure that payment information matches the renter's identity. We also require renters taking out a captained boat to be at least 18 years old and on a bareboat to be at least 25 years old.

Is listing my boat on Boatsetter free?

Yes! Listing a boat is completely free. We only take a commission when your boat is rented. We only make money when you do!

What if I'm not comfortable having a renter drive my boat?

If you are not comfortable having a renter drive your boat, we have an expansive network of licensed and experienced captains. Once your boat is listed, you can filter through our network of captains and favorite captains in your area that you would like to operate your boat.
