Membership Application
The Four Lakes Yacht Club is dedicated to boating enthusiasts in the greater Madison, WI area.
The Club has a 225 member maximum capacity and is currently full. By submitting this application, you are reserving your place on a waiting list and you will be contacted by the Membership Director, based on your position on the list, as soon as an opening becomes available. Please submit the application below to save your place as a Prospective Member.
A note about boat slips, summer boat storage, and winter boat storage: All storage is assigned to members (none to the public) based on membership seniority date. Unfortunately, we do not currently have any "open" slips or storage. The best way to get a slip or storage at the Four Lakes Yacht Club is to become a member and attend our annual storage meetings (one for summer and another for winter). Depending on your needs, availability, and a little bit of luck, some members get storage within the first 1-2 years, while others may end up waiting 5+ years, depending on their specific needs.
We expect to have openings for the 2024 season, submit the application below to hold your place in line.

- Friday - Sept. 29 thru Oct. 1 - Mississippi Fall Trip We are organizing a group who would like to run the Mississippi and enjoy the fall colors. Any boats who can easily maintain 20mph speed would be viable. We also encourage grouping up as much as possible as there are a few locks we must navigate through. We plan to be launched and in the water at the Trempealeau Marina and run north to Wabasha where we will spend both Friday and Saturday night. The Anderson House hotel is roughly 1/2 mile from the Parkside Marina in Wabasha. On Saturday, we plan to day trip to Pepin, dependent on weather. On Sunday morning we will head back to Trempealeau and then trailer home. If you have any questions or would like to express interest in attending, please post a comment under this event or reach out to Chuck Deadman directly (his contact is in the newsletter or on your membership card).

What To Know About Iceboat Regattas
- Iceboat racing is highly dependent upon weather and ice conditions. The regatta schedules list the dates when the regatta may be held IF ice conditions warrant.
- The latest information will be posted on the SUNDAY before a scheduled regatta. When regatta conditions do not exist, the regatta will be postponed week by week.
- For example, if a Northwest (NIYA) or ISA regatta is tentatively called ON the Sunday before the upcoming weekend, the ice will be assessed again two days later on Wednesday. If ice conditions are good, then a FINAL CONFIRMATION will be posted on that WEDNESDAY before the regatta. Both the NIYA and ISA regattas are 3 day events that take place on a Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
- The exceptions to this are the DN World, North American, and European championship regattas which are always held on the scheduled dates and never postponed.

Madison Curling Club was formed in 1921 by local enthusiasts of this grand old Scottish game. Members curled under the bleachers at Camp Randall Stadium from 1921 to 1929. In 1930, the Club began to curl at a four sheet facility located at Burr Jones Field on East Washington Avenue in Madison.
