Crossing the Baltic in an X-79
In the summer of 2022, once the Baltic has de-iced and the refitting works has been completed, RelaX will make the crossing of the Baltic: from Finland, sailing south along the Swedish coasts, and arriving to Denmark, up to Haderslev, X-Yacths yard, where this amazing story began. From there my wish was to transport the boat by road to Italy.
Is the X79 recommended for 2 rather lightweight people?
Sailboat Data: X-79. I think this size of boat is very manageable for two sailors. Being a fractional rig and a smaller boat - most of the control will be about the main and the other line loads won't be too high (i.e. won't require a winch most of the time). So the helmsman can sheet the main while the 2nd sailor does the rest.
