Some months ago I visited the Benjamins Yard in Emden (read my article here) where the CEO and Berckemeyer yachts designer Martin Menzner showed me with pride their latest built: A BM49 Pilot House. As a matter of fact during the day the owner of this marvellous yacht also arrived and I shook hands for the first time with Matthias Schernikau.
