GENERAL INFORMATION

Yacht is fully furnished, full galley w/all appliances, washer/dryer, 5 state rooms (1 w/twin bunks, 2 full, 1 queen, 1 king) plus a queen pull out couch on main deck. Additional couch available for sleeping!! Large dining room table seats 8, plus breakfast bar at galley seats 6; 2 full baths; party deck on top w/ working hot tub, fire pit, bar, ample seating, bimini top, 4200 sqft with top deck. Located in a waterfront park in a private dock marina (with security gate) in downtown Louisville within walking distance to waterfront activities, Slugger Field, Distillery Row, and an established biking/walking path to downtown Louisville along waterfront. Shopping, multiple area restaurants, Kroger, and CVS Pharmacy are within 5-10 minutes drive from the harbor. Catering for food, drinks, and alcohol available, or will stock galley to renter's specifications, both at additional cost. Public and private transportation available (at additional cost) in area.

Bart and his crew did a fantastic job hosting our party! The boat is beautiful, the experience was immaculate, and Bart was a friendly, helpful, and professional captain. Our charter with Captain Bart was the highlight of our weekend in Louisville!

Ricky was awesome!! He wasn’t only just great with the adults but with our kids/teens too! He was very knowledgeable about the area and the river. The boat/party barge was large enough for our group of 11. He helped make this experience not only amazing for us but one of our favorite activities of our vacation. We would totally book with him again.

I highly recommend renting Joe's boat for your next memorable family outing. It was simple to make the arrangements and the people who dropped off and picked up the boat were very dependable, friendly and helpful. Steve

I had a great birthday on the lake skiing and wake boarding. Ricky had great advice for those that were trying to learn. The lake is beautiful & we also enjoyed seeing all the big houses.

Erik was fantastic as was his boat. We loved having Erik captain the boat versus driving one ourselves. It made for a very easy day and a great boating experience. We tubed, we skiied and all had a blast. Fit 8 people comfortably. Would absolutely recommend Erik and his boat!!

Outstanding day on the reservoir! Kellen provided a unique experience for us nurses and it was a blast from the moment we entered the boat! Kellen had a great roomy boat, we brought a ton of snacks and drinks with plenty of room to spread out for 8. We are definitely rebooking for next year, only we will plan to stay out longer next year as it was so fun the time passed so quickly! Thanks again Kellen!

Rental Policies

• Due to varied fuel prices and usage, fuel is not included in the rental rate. Boats are launched with a full tank of gas and will be filled upon return.
• Boats can be picked up as early as 8:00 am central time and returned by 5:00 pm central time.
• Cancellation Policy: 100% refund if canceled with more than 48 hours notice, 50% refund if canceled within 24-48 hours notice.
• Special holiday rates apply for Memorial Day weekend, July 4th weekend, and Labor Day weekend.
• A 6% booking software fee and Kentucky’s state sales tax apply.
• NO WATERSPORTS TOWING or TOWING OTHER VESSELS on rental boats. Our insurance policy does not allow this. Only boat club members can tow with the proper training.
• Boat/vessel weight limits and balance must be adhered to – no exceptions!

Rented a pontoon boat from 1 - 5 !! Great place to rent a boat...very thorough...easy...great instructions. Go rent a boat!!

We rented a boat from James(owner)to go fishing for a couple hours. All was good until we tried to restart the boat to move to a different fishing location. The boat wouldn't turn over and we had to troubleshoot for about 20-25 minutes. Once we got "emergency instructions" as according to James over the phone, we were able to get the boat back running and returned immediately to the docks. This ended our trip 30-45 minutes early plus the time we spent troubleshooting the boat so we asked James for a refund of the cost of just 1-hour. At that point he became hostile and told me "if I was an experienced boater like I claimed I was" there wouldn't have been any issues. He claimed all experienced boaters know you never turn a boat off on a river. I grew up boating on the Colorado River and this is news to me. James then became visibly angry and starting yelling that if we didn't leave the docks immediately he was going to call the police and tell them we were operating under the influence. I was DD for our trip and I hadn't drank that day so I welcomed him to do so. He then retreated to the office and never came back out. We decided to cut our losses. What turned out as a nice Sunday of fishing with friends ended on a very sour note. I won't be renting from James or this company ever again.

COMPLETE SCAM & RUDEST SERVICE EVER. BUYER BEWARE! After we were scammed into paying DOUBLE the price of what was clearly listed on their website, we were sent out in a cheap rinky dink boat and whenever we turned the engine off to coast or fish for a while, the engine would not come back on. Our group included experienced boaters and when we got stranded and explained the problem to JAMES, (the employee) over the phone, he gave us "emergency instructions" to power the boat back on. After 20 minutes of trying, we finally got it to work and immediately went back to the dock 30 min before our scheduled return time to prevent getting stranded again. James was APPALLINGLY rude and refused to give us a refund for the unused time, despite it being due to the fact that we were given a boat that didn't work properly. He called it user error despite using the exact term "emergency instructions" to restart the boat and said it was common sense. As previously stated, we have over 20 years of boating experience and this was not a common issue. He then proceeded to insult us, threaten us by saying we're lucky we even received our deposit back, and even talked down about our car (which is a rental because we're not from the area). UNBELIEVABLY TERRIBLE service, I wouldn't rent from this place again if it were the last boat on earth. Save your time and money and go somewhere with true professionals and proper working boats.

WORST BOAT RENTAL COMPANY EVER!!!

We used Louisville Boat Rental for my bachelor party last June and it was amazing! We rented the pontoon and had a blast! I would 100% rent from them again

We rented the pontoon for a group of 8 during a bachelor party. I was skeptical going into the reservation given earlier reviewer's concerns about the engine not starting while out on the water, but we didn't have any issues. James and the woman he works with were very responsive. Went out for three hours and could not have asked for a better day on the Ohio.

Good clean equipment but underpowered and no depth finder so traveling blind if you want to explore at all. Owner was very defensive if you ask any questions, just wants to give his "spiel" and you be quiet. They took my credit card for deposit and refunded it okay but required cash only for the payment. I felt like we might be doing something underhanded. Oh, by the way, they don't tell you that you may not go down to see the Louisville downtown skyline until after they have your cash in hand. Jim

With proximity to downtown Louisville, RiverPark Place’s marina boat slips are one of the best docking options on the Ohio River, as well as the largest. 

The marina offers spectacular views and high-quality construction. The floating docks feature Trex® decking, for a natural look and comfortable feel that stands the test of time. The docks are handicap accessible, and water and electricity are available at every slip. Additional amenities include a pump station, laundry services, showers and restrooms and Dock Shop. Gated docks are an added security feature.

All rentals include Vessel, paddles & Life vest. You can bring your own life vest if you like.

Can I bring my pet?

Yes, all pets are welcome provided they are friendly and good around children. Life vests for your pet are recommended but by no means mandatory.

Do you cater to large group’s ?

Yes, school field trips, youth groups, party’s, corporate events. Ask about group discounts.

How long can we stay out?

All rentals are 4 or 8 hours long. If you are looking for a shorter rental, we do offer a 2 hour walk-up rental for those open to paddling at 4pm.

Can I launch my own vessel?

Can we go out into the Ohio River ?

Does harrods creek have any white water (fast moving water).

No, Harrods Creek is know as flat water that welcomes all ages over 2 years old. The creek consists of over 14 miles of smooth water.

Is the water in Harrods Creek ever too low to kayak in ?

No, unlike some creeks or streams, Harrods Creek is always at least 5 ft deep.

Do I need an appointment to come?

No! You can simply walk-in, just keep in mind their may be a wait. But we promise to get you in as soon as possible.
