Months after Lil Yachty and Had Bhabie announced their investment in a new culturally Jewish dating app , Yachty is now giving the Italians a run for their money as he’s launching his own frozen pizza line with the help of Deep Cuts , the U.S. brand for a line of premium frozen pizzas created by Universal Music Group.
Dubbed Yachty’s Pizzeria , the new frozen pizza line is already in the frozen food aisle of participating supermarkets and retail for a reasonable $6.98. Why not just add two cents and make them $7 straight is anyone’s guess, but $6.98 it is. In a press release, Lil Yachty explained why he decided to go through with this latest venture.
“I’ve loved making and eating pizza my whole life, so this is a project I’m really excited about and have been for a long time. We made some wild flavors but there’s still something for everybody. I take my pizza seriously so I’m looking forward to seeing what people think,” said Lil Yachty.

As for what kind of flavors and toppings Yachty’s Pizzeria will be offering, customers will have four choices to make once they make their way to the frozen food aisle.
- Buffalo Style Chicken : Layered with Yachty’s own buffalo ranch sauce and covered in mozzarella cheese, this pizza is topped with spicy chopped buffalo chicken breast and crispy French-fried onions.

The “Broccolli” rapper shared that Yachty’s Pizzeria comes in four flavors: Buffalo Style Chicken, Hot Honey Cheese, Pepperoni & Bacon, and Veggie Supreme. After being questioned about not adding broccoli as a choice for one of the flavors due to the hit record with the same name, the Georgia native revealed he didn’t include it because he finds the vegetable “disgusting.”
"”Broccoli” was always about marijuana more than vegetables, even though I don't smoke or eat it,” he revealed.
“I hate the smell of broccoli. Steamed broccoli smells so disgusting. I don't eat vegetables, bro. I wouldn't have made a veggie pizza, but it's not all about me.”
The pizza line is exclusively available now at in Walmart stores nationwide and are priced under $7.

An Honest Review of Lil Yachty’s Frozen Pizza
When someone says Lil Yachty, pizza isn’t the first thing that comes to my mind. Well, until now.
Rapper Lil Yachty recently released a new line of frozen pizzas. The four different types of pies are sold exclusively at Walmart. Sadly, we couldn’t get our hands on two flavors: Buffalo Style Chicken and Hot Honey Cheese. We did, however, grab the Pepperoni & Bacon and Veggie Supreme, cook them in the oven, and give them a taste. Here’s what we thought.
New Product!
I absolutely loved the choice of toppings for this vegetable pizza. Red bell pepper, onions, mushrooms, and black olives are the perfect meatless-pizza toppings. Sometimes, when you get a vegetarian frozen pizza, it’s topped with weird, wet veggies like zucchini and spinach. Lil Yachty knew exactly what he was doing when he added veg to his line of frozen pizzas and left off the broccoli. Sadly, there were little to no mushrooms found on over half of our pizza. I love mushrooms so they were definitely missed. I did love the other toppings, plus the sauce and the cheese. The crust feels like classic frozen pizza crust. I love it, but I don’t think it’ll make a pizza snob a frozen-pizza convert.
Credit: Sarah Demonteverde / Walmart
This pizza is so pork-y. It’s incredible. The tiny pieces of bacon fuse with the tomato sauce and give this frozen pizza an unbelievable flavor. The pepperoni has great texture and saltiness. The grease from each slice drips onto the plate in such a pleasing way. Sadly, the “cheddar cheese seasoned crust” left much to be desired. It didn’t really taste like cheddar cheese at all. I can look past that, though, because the toppings are so delicious. Meat lovers, buy this pizza!

It’s Lil Yachty’s pizza his way. A rising crust that’s brushed with buttery garlic oil and dusted with spicy cheese puff seasoning and spices. We layer in Yachty’s own buffalo ranch sauce and cover it all in melted mozzarella cheese. You’ll go crazy for the spicy chopped buffalo chicken breast and crispy French-fried onions! It’s so hot, and so good, you can’t stop after one slice.

Lil Yachty's New Frozen Pizza Brand Won't Include 'Disgusting' Broccoli: 'I Don't Eat Vegetables'
Courtesy Deep Cuts Lil Yachty
Lil Yachty is turning his pizza obsession into a business.
After hosting a string of pop-up pizza shops in 2017 , the Grammy-nominated rapper and entrepreneur is partnering with Deep Cuts (by Universal Music Group for Brands) and Richelieu Foods to launch a premium frozen pizza brand called Yachty's Pizzeria, and he recently spoke to PEOPLE about the venture.
Exclusively available in Walmart stores nationwide starting Sept. 6, Yachty's Pizzeria comes in four flavors — Buffalo Style Chicken, Hot Honey Cheese, Pepperoni & Bacon and Veggie Supreme — each featuring a cheddar cheese seasoned crust, priced under $7, and taste-tested by Yachty, 25, and his friends.
Inspiration for the brand's launch stems from the "Broccoli" performer's lifelong love of pizza, which he's previously claimed to have eaten "every day" since around the time he was a second-grade student.
Shortly following his 25th birthday on Aug. 23, Yachty caught up with PEOPLE about creating the frozen pizza brand, future plans for his pizza entrepreneurship, upcoming music and his burgeoning acting career.
Courtesy Deep Cuts Yachty's Pizzeria
How did you develop such an obsession with pizza, and what led you to make it part of your brand?
I've been pushing to make it a part of my brand since the beginning of my career. I recently got some new management that was able to really push and make it happen. It couldn't have happened at a better time. The thing behind my love for pizza was, quite frankly, my mom worked two jobs. She was a very busy woman. She'd be pretty tired when she came home, and she just always brought home a pizza. We went and picked up a pizza or baked a pizza. It became pretty standard in our life, and I loved it.
Why did you decide to take your love of pizza into the frozen food world with Yachty's Pizzeria?
Because I [love it]. I'm going to get into dining-style pizza in due time, but I love frozen pizza, genuinely — a lot. I always want to do things in partnerships that I like in real life.

I'm a pizza lover myself, but living in New York City, I can be pretty skeptical of the quality of frozen pizzas. Considering no one loves pizza more than you, however, I'm sure you've thought that through. What sets Yachty's Pizzeria apart from other frozen pizzas, and why should people eat this one?
It's a really interesting taste, and it has this cheddar cheese crust that is really unique. If you're a pizza lover, I think you should always want to try a new pizza. And that's who it's for — the real pizza lovers like myself, or the moms who maybe want to just throw something in the oven for the kids. That was my life growing up. Frozen pizza, f—in' pizza rolls, you know? S—.
Yachty's Pizzeria comes in four flavors — Buffalo Style Chicken, Hot Honey Cheese, Pepperoni & Bacon and Veggie Supreme. How did you decide on those flavors and develop them? Who was taste-testing them throughout the process?
Me and my friends. Hot honey is my favorite wing flavor. I was like, "F—, what if I put my favorite wing flavor on my pizza?" That's where that flavor came from, and it's insane. It's my favorite flavor. It goes so crazy. It's so f—ing good — seriously, I'm telling you. Pepperoni & Bacon is my favorite from other places. I usually get something like that if they have bacon. [We made Veggie Supreme] because we had another flavor that I didn't like at all. It was nothing good to me. I wanted to replace it. [And] Buffalo Style Chicken, you can never go wrong with that.
Veggie Supreme comes with bell peppers, mushrooms, onions and olives. I have to ask, why did you choose not to include the vegetable that shares a title with your 7-times Platinum-certified single, "Broccoli" ?
Broccoli? Well, I think that sounds f—ing disgusting, for one. "Broccoli" was always about marijuana more than vegetables, even though I don't smoke or eat it. I hate the smell of broccoli. Steamed broccoli smells so disgusting. I don't eat vegetables, bro. I wouldn't have made a veggie pizza, but it's not all about me.
You recently celebrated your 25th birthday by riding with Drake on his private jet. What do you chat about with Drake when you hang out?
A thing that I value most about my friendship with Drake is the privacy of it. I love and appreciate how we can talk and be very, completely honest with each other without any ego and just have real conversations in real time. That's what I appreciate most about our friendship — the real, the authenticity.
Has Drake tried any of Yachty's pizzas yet?
No, he hasn't tried any yet. But I'm definitely going to ship some to his house. He's going to.
Speaking of your birthday, fans were looking forward to your 7th annual Birthday Mix EP, but this was the first year you didn't put one out since you hit the scene in 2016.
Why'd you skip this year.
Because, man, I did an album that I just finished, that is so good. But it's an alternative album. I didn't want to put out a couple rap songs and throw people's energy off of what I'm about to drop. I want to make sure the next thing they hear from me is what I've been working on, which is very high quality, but it's a little different. I think everyone will have a lot of appreciation for it.
Timothy Hiatt/Getty Lil Yachty
In addition to Yachty's Pizzeria and this new album, you're currently working on a movie based on the UNO card game with Mattel Films that'll be centered around the Atlanta hip-hop scene, and you've been rumored for the lead role. Where are you at in that process, and what's it been like developing the film?
I think it took a halt. We were working on it, and then I don't know. Something happened, I think, with the script or something where it came to a halt. That's where that is right now.
I'm sure fans will get a petition started. You're also about to be in Paramount+'s new battle rap movie On the Come Up . How do you like working in film?
It's awesome. It's a completely different experience from rapping — a more humbling experience, the idea and thought of learning a new career, a new profession from scratch again. It's a challenge, and you're learning. I'm not Denzel. I'm still new. I enjoy learning and all the things that come along with beginning as an actor.
What are your future plans for Yachty's Pizzeria? What flavors would you like to add?
First and foremost, I'm just super excited. I've done a lot of things, but I always get really geeked up when I see something of me in a grocery store. It's happened over the years so many times, from deodorant and body spray to a cereal box. One time I did a little soda. It's just super cool to walk through a grocery aisle and see my face on things. I'm super excited for that, and more than a flavor, I'm more excited to venture out and do other types of things. Maybe pizza bagels and pizza rolls, and then pizza sticks, or just a different kind of crust, and type of s— like that.

Lil Yachty launched his own line of frozen pizza.
The 25-year-old rapper’s brand is called Yachty’s Pizzeria. Lil Yachty’s frozen pizza is available exclusively at Walmart .
“I’ve loved making and eating pizza my whole life, so this is a project I’m really excited about and have been for a long time,” Lil Yachty said in a press release. “We made some wild flavors but there’s still something for everybody. I take my pizza seriously so I’m looking forward to seeing what people think,”
Lil Yachty created Yachty’s Pizzeria with the help of Universal Music Group for Brands. Richelieu Foods manufactures the frozen pizza line.
“Yachty’s Pizzeria is an exciting example of a strategic brand extension that both represents the artist’s interest, passion and personality as well as a way to help him expand his business portfolio,” UMG’s EVP of Global Brands Richard Yaffa said. “It’s a thrill to be able to continue to find new ways for our artists to connect with their fans around the world and support these campaigns with best-in-class marketing and creative support.”
Lil Yachty’s frozen pizza line includes Buffalo Style Chicken, Hot Honey Cheese, Pepperoni and Bacon, and Veggie Supreme. All of the pizzas are priced at $6.98.

Following up on the success of his New York City pop-up, rapper Lil’ Yachty is dropping a surprise pizza experience this weekend only in Los Angeles.
The so-called Yachty’s Pizzeria will take over the existing Delicious Pizza on Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood. It’s only for Saturday and Sunday though, so expect long lines for slices and lots of merch for sale , including jackets, hats and t-shirts emblazoned with the Yachty’s Pizzeria name.
Lil’ Yachty partnered with Bravado to bring the first pizza pop-up in New York City to life last month, and lines stretched for blocks with fans just trying to get a glimpse of the rapper stepping through the door. So why pizza? Yachty is apparently obsessed with the stuff, and has eaten at least one slice of pizza every day since the 2nd grade.
Of course, this is far from the first time a company selling nostalgia has come to Los Angeles and been welcomed warmly with long lines. Back in March a Breaking Bad restaurant pop-up practically shut down a section of Downtown, and the NHL even created a Stan Mikita’s Donuts out of whole cloth to help promote last season’s all-star game. The Yachty’s Pizzeria pop-up runs Saturday and Sunday only in Hollywood, with hours from noon to 7 p.m.

Lil Yachty's Newly Launched Frozen Pizza Line Leaves Out One Specific Ingredient
Lil Yachty has yet to drop an album dedicated to pizza, but the Alabama-bred hip-hop artist has used his platform to advertise his obsession with the dish, which might even eclipse Lil Yachty's love of Reese's Puffs and Yachty's strong opinions about Uncrustables . If you were a fan in 2017, maybe you even met him in the flesh after grabbing a slice from his spur-of-the-moment pizza pop-up that took over a Los Angeles storefront for a weekend (per Eater ).
Five years later, the Grammy-nominated star has taken the pizza division of his culinary career to the next level by partnering with Universal Music Group for Brand's frozen pizza line Deep Cuts for the launch of Yachty's Pizzeria, his own line of frozen pies available exclusively at Walmart (per People ). "I've loved making and eating pizza my whole life, so this is a project I'm really excited about and have been for a long time," the artist and pizza entrepreneur told uDiscover Music . "We made some wild flavors but there's still something for everybody." The one thing shoppers shouldn't expect to find? A popular green vegetable.
Broccoli is not invited to Lil Yachty's pizza party
Yachty's Pizzeria is a beautiful contradiction. On the one hand, it has everything, including a unique cheddar cheese crust. On the other hand, it forgoes a vegetable that's long been counted as a popular pizza topping: broccoli. "I hate the smell of broccoli. Steamed broccoli smells so disgusting. I don't eat vegetables, bro," Yachty told People . "I wouldn't have made a veggie pizza, but it's not all about me."
Per a press release , shoppers can expect to see an array of flavors including Buffalo Style Chicken (featuring the rapper's own buffalo ranch sauce topped with mozzarella, spicy chopped buffalo chicken breast, and fried onions), Hot Honey Cheese (a six-hitter with mozzarella, provolone, Monterey jack, asiago, Romano, and parmesan on top of sweet and spicy tomato sauce), Pepperoni & Bacon (a meaty medley of smoked bacon and pepperoni on top of mozzarella), and, out of the goodness of his heart, a Veggie Supreme (which includes bell peppers, mushrooms, onions, and olives topped with shredded Gouda and Fontina).
The rapper tells People he's already looking ahead to other pizza-related ventures. "Maybe pizza bagels and pizza rolls, and then pizza sticks, or just a different kind of crust," he says. The future looks bright for Yachty's Pizzeria, but that future does not include a certain green floret.

- Hot Honey Cheese : Topped with a deep bubbly blend of Mozzarella, Provolone, Monterey Jack, Asiago, Romano, and Parmesan on top of a hot tomato sauce that’s sweetened with real honey.
- Pepperoni & Bacon: A pizza crust that’s crispy on the outside with tender freshly baked dough on the inside covered in delicious, melted mozzarella cheese, smokey bacon, and deep layers of pepperoni.
- Veggie Supreme: Topped with a special mix of bell peppers, mushrooms, onions, and olives, covered with the realest blend of shredded Gouda and Fontina cheeses.

How celebrity chefs create dishes with levy for the u.s. open.

Celebrity chefs pose for a photo ahead of the the start of the 2024 U.S. Open in Flushing, NY. ... [+] (Darren Carroll/USTA)
Alex Guarnaschelli knew that when she brought signature dishes from her famed New York restaurant Butter to her restaurant at the U.S. Open she needed to simplify recipes, even if just slightly. After a few years honing the craft of serving at the fast-paced tennis event, she, along with a bounty of celebrity chefs offering up an array of flavors across the grounds, has worked hand-in-hand with Levy to turn signature concepts into repeatable recipes.
Merging the popularity of celebrity chefs—for the 2024 U.S. Open means chefs stretching from the food village into the restaurants—requires a hand-off between celebrity ideas to a host of Levy chefs who can take the ideas and run with them.
“It is about understanding what their vision is,” Ron Krivosik, Levy culinary senior vice president, tells me about the connection between the chefs. “Cooking is cooking. Food is food. As long as you know what they’re looking for, that is the easy part.”
Guarnaschelli tells me that she brings her team with her to the U.S. Open to collaborate with the chefs from Levy, so both sides can fully understand the recipes and how to execute them. For chefs accustomed to running a traditional restaurant, the sheer volume and pace of the U.S. Open can sometimes be overwhelming. For the Levy chefs, they need to learn an entirely new menu. “It is so great to be collaborative and supportive,” Guarnaschelli says about working together before the event starts. “We let chefs chef.”

Krivosik says the main thing chefs new to the Open must understand is the volume and pace of food. He says Guarnaschelli grasped it all, which helps create a smoother-running restaurant once she imparts that vision to the team putting it together. “You can see it on paper, but once you work through it with Alex and her chef Michael [Jenkins], you understand what it is. It is simplistic, great food.”
As Guarnaschelli knows well, one of the key tricks to creating an ideal dish for mass appeal that can also get turned around quickly is simplifying the steps. Krivosik says, for example, if chefs have a dish with eight steps, it simply won’t fly at the busy U.S. Open. “You have to understand volume and reduce down the steps,” he says. “As long as we don’t jeopardize the quality, if you can get to that end result in five steps instead of eight, we will serve top-quality food all the time.”
He recounts a time a new chef came onto the site with a lobster roll, toasting the bun each time an order was made. That slowed the process, so Krivosik suggested pre-toasting dozens of buns. The chef wasn’t sold until they realized those lobster rolls were selling so fast the bread wasn’t sitting at all. “It is little things like that,” he says. “We are still going to execute and do whatever the guest wants, but you can save time.”
The Porterhouse steak from Champions Bar & Grill by Benjamin Steakhouse is a popular item in the ... [+] Arthur Ashe Stadium restaurant. (Darren Carroll/USTA)
For Guarnaschelli, serving at the U.S. Open is worth the effort to refine the recipes. “I love this event, I came here when I was a kid,” she says. “I have a U.S. Open T-shirt from 1982. I came so stary-eyed and felt like I was stepping into another world.”
That’s why Guarnaschelli wants what she serves to have a taste of New York City, even with her Mediterranean and Italian twist. Simplifying recipes, she says, is often about the quality of the ingredients. She works with families that have been in Little Italy for over 100 years, making their own cheese and backing cheesecake in an oven a century old. “It elevates the food by serving these products and it gives us more time to curate everything that is around it,” she says. “We are making it feel cohesive. People are hungry and invigorated, and the adrenaline is high. We are trying to curate an experience that speaks to that mood. To me, the food and the venue have to serve that larger electricity.”
Around The US Open Grounds
From Fare by Alex Guarnaschelli to other celebrity chef appearances, the U.S. Open is full of food experiences.
The U.S. Open features seven on-site restaurants, 60 concession stands, 90 suites and 250 behind-the-scenes chefs and hospitality team members to bring it all to the roughly one million fans that show up annually.

Key restaurants include Michelin-starred Ed Brown, Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto and James Beard Award-winning Kwame Onwuahci teaming up on Aces in Arthur Ashe Stadium. That comes next door to the Benjamin Steakhouse-run Champions Bar & Grill, which last year sold 4,684 steaks to over 11,2000 guests. The popular steakhouse is known for its porterhouse steak for two, while the filet is the most popular individual order. Steak fries come as the top side and a Caesar salad the top-ordered appetizer.
The pastrami sandwich from Carnegie Deli makes a return to New York City in a food village stand at ... [+] the 2024 U.S. Open.
Simon Kim brings his Cote Korean Steakhouse from New York into the U.S. Open with Coqodaq, an elevated Korean-inspired fried chicken. Known for The Golden Nugget, served this year on the club level of Ashe, deep-pocketed fans can get the nugget with black truffle and 24-carat gold, a six-piece order running $100. The nuggets are also available without the special additions for a more affordable cost.
Other returning chefs include David Burke’s Mojito and Josh Capon keeping seafood lively at his Capon’s Fly Fish.
The tournament also features new dishes and returning items from Pat LaFrieda Meat Co., San Matteo NYC, Dos Toros Taqueria, La Casa de Masa, Red Hook Lobster Pound, Fuku, Eataly, Crown Shy, Korilla BBQ, Poke Yachty, Hill Country BBQ, King Souvlaki, Stacked Sandwich Shop, The Migrant Kitchen, The Nourish Spot and Van Leeuwen Ice Cream.
The margherita and pepperoni pizza from San Matteo NYC proves a popular option annually at the U.S. ... [+] Open. (Darren Carroll/USTA)
Returning to New York is the Carnegie Deli Group. The pop-up food court location of a restaurant that served the city for almost 100 years offers a mixture of options, highlighted by corned beef and pastrami sandwiches.
One of the most well-known alcoholic beverages in sports washes it all down. The Grey Goose Honey Deuce returns after selling 450,000 drinks at the 2023 U.S. Open.

This pizza is so pork-y. It's incredible. The tiny pieces of bacon fuse with the tomato sauce and give this frozen pizza an unbelievable flavor. The pepperoni has great texture and saltiness. The grease from each slice drips onto the plate in such a pleasing way. Sadly, the "cheddar cheese seasoned crust" left much to be desired.
