Measuring 30.65m (100' 7") in length, the luxury sailing yacht BLACK LION (ex Xnoi) is an exceptional sloop, launched by the respected Italian builder Perini Navi in 2012 and refitted in 2016. With naval architecture by Indiana Yachting, the XNOI Superyacht is designed by Mario Pedol as well as Massimo Gino from the well-known Nauta Yacht Design. She can sleep 8 guests in 4 cabins.

S/Y BLACK LION boasts a minimalistic interior featuring light beach toned wood panels throughout. Upon entering through the main companionway guests are greeted by a spacious salon. On the starboard side and a large U shaped sofa in a soft grey hue with coffee table is relaxing, to port a formal dining table seats up to 10 easily. Forward of the salon, a few steps flow casually into a space dedicated to audio and visual entertainment in the cinema room and office. Guest cabins are fore and aft of the salon.

Perini Navi superyacht Xnoi can accommodate 8 charter guests in comfort. She provides 4 beautiful staterooms.

Aboard the S/Y BLACK LION, deck space is plentiful. The cockpit has been designed with both the guests and crew in mind. Just above the main companionway, a generous cockpit offers ample seating and an alfresco dining option, free of lines and winches, followed by large sun pads.

Aft of the guests area dual helms and all the working gear are a sight to watch in action. Sailing yacht BLACK LION was fitted with titanium hardware on her beautiful teak decks. The sleek blue hull and 40m (131ft) rig are carbon fibre, carrying an impressive 420 square meters (4521sq. ft.) of sail area.

Luxury yacht BLACK LION has a 7.2m (23.6ft) beam and 4.1m (13.2ft) draft, when not under sail she is powered by a single 305hp Cummins engine, capable of up to 10 knots.

Black Lion is great for families thanks to her child-friendly setup. Built in 2012, She offers guest accommodation for up to 9 guests with a layout comprising a master suite and three twin cabins. There are 8 beds in total, including 1 queen, 6 singles and 1 pullman. She is also capable of carrying up to 4 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht charter experience.

With naval architecture by Indiana Yachting, the BLACK LION superyacht is designed by Mario Pedol as well as Massimo Gino from well known Nauta Yacht Design, and shows off an elegant style with her hull, superstructure, mast and boom all made from carbon fibre.

Her striking exterior is both eloquently modern and charmingly classic, boasting an intelligent poise and refined lines, making her both elegant and ageless. As with her exterior lines, BLACK LION ‘s deck plan is all about clarity. Her smooth, minimalistic deck space, free of any abundant details and refreshingly clutter-free, pleasantly emphasises functionality rather than style. This is a charming trait that often sailing yacht enthusiasts in general, and BLACK LION in particular. This penchant for putting function over form is adequately illustrated by a striking feature, catching the eye immediately upon boarding: her double helm station. No ornamental additions or stylistic acrobatics, simply refined elegance and top quality craftsmanship, both the result of the one thing BLACK LION is all about: that comfortable, stylish and luxurious feeling of freedom that makes sailing a superyacht of this stature so enticing.

Just fore of the helm, she offers guests the perfect lounging spot in the form of a wide set sunbathing area. This open space has large sun pads and a spacious cockpit, which doubles as an al fresco dining area. The whole exterior lounging space supplies guests with grand panoramic views and a picture perfect sailing experience.

Entering through a stainless steel, sliding door, the deckhouse covers a magnificent interior main guest area. This room, flooded in natural light and executed in colour and material palettes that are clean, fresh and elegantly simple, is divided into two different areas located on two different levels. Aft, there is a refined raised saloon, with port side dining and starboard conversation and lounging areas. With the all around windows, vista views and an overall light ambiance setting the tone, this area feels delicate, light and delightfully comfortable.

Four steps down, there is the main living area, with a spacious U-shaped conversation area port side including a large television, and a port side office area with a long desk and small sofa. BLACK LION accommodates a company of up to 10 guests in 4 staterooms, in the form of one master and three twin suites, two of which can be found aft of the main saloon. The latter two each include an extra Pullman berth.

The owner’s quarters are located directly fore, adjacent to the main saloon. Here, a large port side stateroom with king size bed and an extra twin suite fore, both with en suites bathrooms, is combined with ample storage space and executed in BLACK LION ‘s light, atmospheric style. All interiors are based on a fresh, light grey upholstery and light wood finish. This, framed by the ample amounts of natural light flowing all around, gives BLACK LION ‘s a breezy sense of freedom, both inside and out. Guests can simply feel her light and free personality, with an ambiance that, though luxurious and illustrating top quality craftsmanship all over, is elegantly simple.

BLACK LION is a true modern classic, sensual and stylish, without being overtly dramatic. She seduces her guests and takes them on a journey across the waves, surrounded by light, space and comfort but with the freedom of the waves as her true aim. Captain Alexandros Gkouveris - a Greek native - holds an RYA/MCA Yachtmaster Ocean Sail & Power Certificate up to 200GT and Master 500GT from Greek Naval Academy. As a proud sailor, he has been sailing for over 30 years and has been a charter captain for 20 years. Captain Alexandros offers an enthusiasm that blends well with the positive attitude of the entire crew. As the captain, he takes pride in creating tailor-made yacht cruise experiences for each charter. He works closely with his guests to ensure that all their wishes are met. In the off-season months, he works as a sailing instructor. He will be happy to teach you how to sail and show you all the stunning hidden coves in Greece. He enjoys windsurfing and loves to travel around the world experiencing new cultures. Alexandros is fluent in Greek and English. Chef Mihran Yaghjian is of Armenian descent and was raised in Athens. He has a cooking resume packed with experience in brasseries, boulangeries and Michelin star awarded restaurants in Paris and Dijon – working next to some of the best chefs in Burgundy. With a love of the sea and travel, Mihran returned to Greece and began in the yachting world as a chef on both sailing and motor yachts. Passionate about international cuisines and learning new techniques to blend with traditional food, his creations will excite the palate. For many years, he volunteered in the Armenian community in Greece. Mihran is looking forward to welcoming you aboard and creating exceptional dishes to complement your incredible holiday on board BLACK LION. Mihran speaks English, Greek and conversational level French. Steward Thomas Saati studied Interior Architecture at Aul University. His love for the sea brought him on board. He has been working as a steward and deckhand and has certification of the IAMI Guest Program. He is committed to a life at sea and is working to climb the career ladder. Thomas is a great steward with an eye for detail and he loves making cocktails. He enjoys kitesurfing and snowboarding he is also keen on photography and videography. With his warm-hearted smile Thomas will make the guests’ experiences unique and memorable. Engineer - Deckhand: Nikolaos Kalafatis is a deckhand with vast experience. On board many vessels, he has proved how hard working and focused he is. Some of those vessels are “Hanse”, “The Moorings”, “Jeanneau Monohull”, “Lagoon Catamaran”. His qualifications include RYA/MCA Yachtmaster Offshore Power/Sailing and Ocean Power/Sailing. He has had great experience regarding maintenance and boat repair (over 5 years). He was a skipper on a Power Catamaran for the Filming of “Gordon go Greek) with Gordon Ramsay, Gino Da Campo, Fred Sirieix for ITV. He is interested in sailing and windsurfing at which sports he has won races, both national and international and a Championship. Easy going and team spirited.

Captain Alexandros Gkouveris - a Greek native - holds an RYA/MCA Yachtmaster Ocean Sail & Power Certificate up to 200GT and Master 500GT from Greek Naval Academy. As a proud sailor, he has been sailing for over 30 years and has been a charter captain for 20 years. Captain Alexandros offers an enthusiasm that blends well with the positive attitude of the entire crew. As the captain, he takes pride in creating tailor-made yacht cruise experiences for each charter. He works closely with his guests to ensure that all their wishes are met. In the off-season months, he works as a sailing instructor. He will be happy to teach you how to sail and show you all the stunning hidden coves in Greece. He enjoys windsurfing and loves to travel around the world experiencing new cultures. Alexandros is fluent in Greek and English. Chef Mihran Yaghjian is of Armenian descent and was raised in Athens. He has a cooking resume packed with experience in brasseries, boulangeries and Michelin star awarded restaurants in Paris and Dijon - working next to some of the best chefs in Burgundy. With a love of the sea and travel, Mihran returned to Greece and began in the yachting world as a chef on both sailing and motor yachts.
