BENETTI DOMANI: AN ENTIRELY CUSTOM-MADE MEGA YACHT

M/Y Domani project was so successful that Benetti decided to transform it into a real line which represents the best of Class range and the smallest model of Full-Custom line . This is why FB701 is a real link between these two product segments.
The yacht is pushed by two Kohler 125 Kw generators and Caterpillar CAT C32 ACERT ( 1081 kw, 2100 rpm) engines which allow a 4000-mile autonomy at 10.5 knots.
But the main feature of M/Y Domani is the possibility to manage spaces, which have been optimized and developed on four decks : Lower, Main, Upper and Sun Deck.
The Sun Deck is divided into three different spaces: the astern zone used as lounge and sunbathing platform, the central zone, designed as a lunch area and with a sliding door, the fore zone, with swimming pool and sunbathing area ; this area can also used as a unique space. The result is a very versatile custom-made yacht.
Technical rooms are completely divided from the other ones to provide passengers with more privacy.
Interiors, designed by Carlo Galeazzi , include very elegant and “made in Italy” details signed by brands like Cassina, Minotti, Flos, Collezione Privata De Lucchi, Rimadesio, Vittoria, Flexform, B&B, Maxalto.

Burgess Sells 44.2m Benetti Superyacht DOMANI

Burgess has announced the sale of 44.2m Benetti superyacht DOMANI, with Peter Brown representing the seller and the buyer introduced by Michael Selter of Crow’s Nest Yachts.
Domani was initially launched by prestigious Italian shipyard Benetti in 2004, and completed her last major refit in 2019 to ensure she continues to meet the high standards of luxury expected onboard a modern superyacht.
With a beam of 9.4m and a gross tonnage of 390GT, Domani has plenty of space to accommodate up to 12 guests in 5 opulent cabins, comprising of a master suite, 2 double cabins and 2 twin cabins.
The Stefano Righini-designed superyacht has earned a glowing reputation as a charter vessel, with an accommodating crew led by Captain Peter and Chief Steward Bridget. Domani is ideal for exploring coasts, bays and islands in complete comfort, and reaches a top speed of 15kn with a cruising speed of 12kn.
Now under new private ownership, Domani offers plenty of entertainment for her guests both in the indulgent interiors as well as on the water. The superyacht boasts plenty of social spaces for family and friends to unwind, including an enticing Deck Jacuzzi, while an array of water toys are available for more high-octane thrills on the water.
44.2m Domani was last listed by Burgess for an asking price of USD 8,500,000.

Benetti Launch the 45 M Hull FB701 and Name her Domani
Benetti, has launched hull number FB701: Domani a new custom build 45 metre displacement yacht.
Built at the Viareggio Benetti shipyard, the yacht will be the forth delivered to the same long standing client, who is an expert sailor and loves cruising with his family around the world.
As is traditional at the Livorno yard the yacht was launched sideways following the same methods practised for the last 143 years of launchings
Domani is based on the FB700 technical platform so to allow for reduced delivery time.
The efficient use of space is one of the peculiarities of this below 500 GT full displacement yacht.
The external design of this four decked steel and aluminium yacht, is the result of Benetti in-house design team. Carlo Galeazzi with considerable input from the Owner and his design team created the interior layout.
Some of the special features of Domani include a design that provides a sensation of extra space with particular areas including the Owner’s cabin balcony.
The sky lounge on the upper deck overlooks the outdoor area through a huge glass door at full height and full width (about 8 meters) creating a unique indoor-outdoor effect. The dining area becomes a pleasant “al-fresco” place.
Benetti will deliver Domani in June 2016 and will unveil further details about this yacht later this year.
