A traditional gentleman's style yacht with a canoe stern, KATHARINE is classically furnished, with a choice of spectacular entertaining areas both inside and on deck. Make the most of the outdoors with a leisurely breakfast on the sun deck, an al fresco lunch on the upper deck aft or pre-dinner cocktails on the main deck's stylish seating. Take a dip in the oversized mosaic-lined jacuzzi on the sun deck, then toast on the soft cushions that surround the jacuzzi/hot tub on three sides. KATHARINE's interior is equally impressive. The vast 80 sqm sky lounge is panelled in cherry wood and features a fireplace and two banks of deep, comfortable sofas. A separate dining room on the upper deck features a beautiful oblong table and floor-to-ceiling glass doors that cast plenty of natural light and lead out onto the aft deck.

The sense of warmth and grandeur continues on the main deck, with a sophisticated bar, rich fabrics and intricate detailing in the main salon. All six of the guest cabins are located on this deck, providing luxurious accommodation for 12 guests. Relax in the impressive, full beam master suite, with its romantic window seat and huge lounge area. His and hers bathrooms, his and hers walk-in wardrobes and a separate study/library ensure there is infinite space and ultimate privacy at all times. The VIP suite also has its own seating area, desk and walk-in wardrobe, while a further three double cabins and a twin all have large windows and en suite bathrooms.

A General Description of Motor Yacht KATHARINE

Being built by the Trinity Yachts yacht builder in the United States the KATHARINE is 54 m 177 (foot) in length. Launched by 2001 this boat’s interior decoration confirms the distinction in the designing of Claudette Bonville. Superyacht KATHARINE can accommodate up to 12 passengers with 12 professional crew. The old, former or build project names are Seahawk. She is able to reach a top speed of 20 knots.

Shipyard Work & Design of Luxury Yacht KATHARINE

Trinity Yachts was the naval architect firm involved in the technical nautical composition for KATHARINE. Also the company Trinity Yachts expertly worked on this project. Interior designer Claudette Bonville was employed for the internal internal styling. In 2001 she was actually launched to celebration in New Orleans LA and post sea trials and detailing was thereafter delivered to the yacht owner. Trinity Yachts completed their new build motor yacht in the United States. Her hull was built out of aluminium. The motor yacht superstructure component is made mostly using aluminium. With a beam of 9.45 m / 31 ft KATHARINE has fairly large size. She has a reasonably shallow draught of 2.29m (7.4ft). She had refit improvement and alteration work carried out in 2004.

Engines & Speeds For M/Y KATHARINE:

The 12V 4000 M90 engine installed in the motor yacht is built by MTU. She is driven by twin screw propellers. The engine of the ship creates 2735 horse power (or 2013 kilowatts). She is equiped with 2 engines. The total output for the boat is thus 5470 HP / 4025 KW. As for stabalisers she uses Koopnautic. The bow thrusters are Koopnautic.

The yacht build is CRN from 2000.  Motor yacht KATHARINE  boasts naval exterior architecture by Italy’s Studio Scanu. In addition, France’s fabled Zuretti Interior Design handled the luxurious interior. The yacht underwent an extensive refit in 2014. DINING AND LOUNGING

Aft, on the same deck, the elegant dining room is all about evening formality – the ideal environment for enjoying the gourmet creations of the yacht’s talented chef.

A spacious hallway and sweeping staircase lead to the upper deck where the sumptuous “ Horace Dodge Lounge ” features small, intimate social areas – perfectly suited for entertaining or relaxing.

To flood the interior areas with natural light, Studio Scanu installed oversized windows on the main deck, which also happens to be the accommodation deck.

ACCOMMODATIONS

The unique floor plan has all six cabins situated on the main deck level. The master cabin features an adjoining study, as well as “his” and “hers” marble bathrooms and walk-in wardrobes.  The VIP suite features a private sitting area, walk-in closet, and large bathroom. The 4 additional guest cabins also feature marble bathrooms and plenty of space in which to relax after a day ashore or in the water with the watertoys.

OUTDOOR SPACES
