PI Yacht – State-of-the-art $120M Superyacht
The PI yacht, formerly Syzygy 818, is a 77.3-meter luxury motor yacht built in 2019 by the Dutch shipyard Feadship. She is a magnificent motorboat constructed with a steel hull and aluminum superstructure.
As a truly bespoke luxury yacht, PI yacht has been customized with cutting-edge glass technology from a computer-aided 3D design. Previously named Syzygy 818, she is considered lucky according to Chinese numerology.
She was also named after the former owner’s birthday, which is on August 18th. Hence, the number was included in the official name of the superyacht.
“Syzygy,” the second part of her name, is an astrological word that refers to the uncommon occasion when three celestial bodies line up exactly in the skies, as occurs during a lunar eclipse or new moon, among other things.

PI yacht interior
The PI yacht is on the cusp of perfection with exceptional construction quality paired with outstanding design and innovation.
Sinot Exclusive Yacht Design created the yacht’s exquisite Zen-inspired interiors, and her naval architecture was penned by De Voogt Naval Architects .
One of her greatest highlights is the installation of floor-to-ceiling windows without mullions, which fulfills the proprietor’s vision of the main saloon that is genuinely in harmony with the exterior.
Throughout, timeless style, exquisite furniture, and plush seats contribute to the creation of her elegant and pleasant ambiance.
Specifications
The PI yacht is built with an 11.20m beam, a 3.30 m draft, and spacious teak decks. She travels easily with a range of 16 knots and achieves a top speed of 18 knots thanks to her dual MTU (16V 4000 M63) 16-cylinder 2,700hp engines operating at 1800rpm.
Additionally, her water tanks have a capacity of about 33,168 L of freshwater. This unique full displacement yacht has “at anchor” stabilizers that operate at zero speed, enhancing board comfort whether at anchor or in rough water.
She was constructed following Lloyds Register classification society standards.
Accommodation
The PI yacht’s six suites comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests. Moreover, she can accommodate up to 18 crew members, which guarantees a relaxing yacht experience.
The yacht features three double guest staterooms, one double owner’s suite, and one convertible owner’s suite.
As for the crew members, they are housed in six twin rooms, two twin officer cabins, one single officer cabin, and one captain’s cabin.
The outstanding leisure and entertainment amenities aboard PI make her the perfect yacht for socializing and entertaining family and friends.
This includes a beach club, Helipad (Touch-n-go), swimming platform, swimming pool, and tender garage.
The vessel’s external lines are notable for their innovative use of double-curvature structural glass.
Jarko Jammsen designed the vessel as his first superyacht project, which features four decks ideally made for patrons’ rest and recreation.
The main deck aft is spacious, and may be configured for an informal setting, outdoor dining, or extensive sunbathing.
There is also an expansive upper deck aft with side walkways connecting to the flush foredeck. The sundeck above provides the greatest vantage point on board for seeing the surrounding area.

77m Feadship ‘Syzygy 818’ renamed superyacht PI

The news comes just months after the yacht made her inaugural appearance at the Monaco Yacht Show . The reason for the name change is currently unknown. PI made waves when Feadship live-streamed her launch in June, and she has since been shrouded in secrecy. Her double-curved exteriors are the work of Jarkko Jamsen of Aivan Yacht Design, while her Japanese-inspired interiors have been helmed by Sinot. Naval architecture comes from De Voogt.  Accommodation is provided for a total of 12 guests and 18 members of crew. The motor yacht has a host of impressive amenities, including a glass-bottomed pool and backlit onyx spa facilities. Her double-curved exteriors are the work of Jarkko Jamsen of Aivan Yacht Design, while her Japanese-inspired interiors have been helmed by Sinot. Her beach club is flooded with light from the pool above, and benefits from twin sea terraces. Her former name is an astrological term referring to the precise alignment of the sun, moon or stars which creates phenomena such as the lunar eclipse. 818 is the former project name of the yacht and is a prosperous number in Chinese numerology. Dragonship 80m trimaran superyacht design unveiled by Pi YachtsPi Super Yachts has released details on a range of trimaran sailing superyachts, starting with the 80m flagship vessel, the Dragonship 80, an aluminium 80 metre, five-deck, three-masted trimaran yacht. Pi Yachts commissioned McPherson Yacht Design to develop a new range of sailing trimarans aimed at the luxury end of the yachting market. Starting with the Flagship of the fleet, the brief was to create a style that was elegant and in-tune with what a superyacht client would expect of a vessel of this size, while also maintaining a sporty image. 'We looked for a designer with the imagination and creative flair who would produce a design that would easily convert into a realistic vessel, McPherson Yacht Design has done an incredible job. The yacht will be the flagship of our Dragonship range of trimarans that we propose building over the coming years. The range will consist of the 80 metre, a 50 metre, 35 metre and our baby Dragon at just 25 metres,' says Will O’Hara, Director of Pi Super Yachts. The rig is highly innovative and cutting-edge, similar to the wing masts recently used on the America’s Cup AC72 yachts. The system is the brainchild of Jack Manners-Spencer who’s been pioneering his Autosail rig since the 1980s. It does away with the use of sheets for control, instead relying upon a powered rotating mast which supports the aerofoil section sail. Two rig options are planned, ‘Sports’ and ‘Cruising', depending upon the client’s wishes. Her layout was designed to be charter-friendly, accommodating 12 guests in six cabins and supported by a crew of 17. The main and upper decks are dedicated to social areas which will offer excellent views out to sea. Facilities on the main deck will include the saloon, bar, dining room, library, spa and a gym, all encompassed by a wide promenade offering the sheer luxury of space. Outside dining is catered for at the aft end of this deck, while the foredeck is kept clear as a reconfigurable space that can be populated with loose furniture as desired. The upper deck features the skylounge and has an emphasis on out-door enjoyment. A large exterior bar overlooks the Jacuzzi and spacious sun-pads. This area can also be shielded from the sun by the built-in awning system. Forward of the bridge is another large exterior seating area including a bar/TV cabinet which leads on to open deck space for sun-loungers. Exterior helm stations are located on the fifth, upper-most deck and boast commanding views of the rig and offer clear views out to sea . This deck also provides seating and a bar for guests to share in the thrill of helming this powerful, graceful vessel.
