Berthon Charts the Evolution of Dashew Offshore and the FPB (Functional Power Boat) Fleet

October 16th, 2023

Berthon Charts the Evolution of Dashew Offshore and the FPB (Functional Power Boat) Fleet

The last word in bluewater cruisers, FPBs are known for their outstanding seakeeping capabilities and extensive range. The series evolved from the original 83 foot FPB WIND HORSE, which Steve and Linda designed and built as their ‘un-sailboat’ after selling their iconic 80 foot ketch, BEOWULF. They cruised aboard WIND HORSE for over 60,000 nautical miles and their experiences aboard contributed to the development of subsequent FPB models.

FPBs are recognised for several key features:

  • Massive Range: FPBs are designed to cover significant distances, making them suitable for ocean passaging without the need to constantly passage plan for the next fuel stop. Bunkering can be accomplished where you are assured of clean fuel at a sensible price.
  • Ability to Surf: They are capable of surfing downwind, which is a unique and exciting characteristic for a motor yacht. As `un-sailboats’ they are handled much like a sailing yacht in many respects
  • Recovery from Capsize: FPBs are designed to recover from capsize with massive in build strengthening of the Great Room to deliver the structural strength to recover from a roll
  • Rugged Construction: They are heavily constructed with thick plating in critical areas making them suitable for cruising worldwide
  • Oversized Stabilizers: These yachts are equipped with oversized stabilizers, safely housed in separated cofferdams so that the integrity of the hull is not compromised if a stabiliser is damaged or lost. They provide a smooth ride when at sea as well as providing support when an FPB is intentionally beached.
  • Great Rooms: A signature of all FPBs, the Great Room provides 360 degree panoramic views. The core of the boat, the galley, saloon seating and watch keeping when at sea is all contained in this light and bright space. It is also the perfect place from which to watch wildlife and to enjoy land and sea scapes.

The FPB Range

WIND HORSE – Total Hulls Built 1 – Fitted out by Kelly Archer

Berthon Charts the Evolution of Dashew Offshore and the FPB (Functional Power Boat) Fleet

The first ever built and the prototype for the FPB 64, FPB 83 WIND HORSE was conceived for and by Steve and Linda who cruised her and lived aboard for seven years. Her speed, range, sea kindliness, comfort, recovery from capsize, ability to surf, ‘Matrix Deck’ and of course her ‘Great Room’ with 360 vision set the benchmark for what was to come. She has a custom Kelly Archer interior in high gloss Burma teak with high gloss teak and holly soleboards which looks amazing.

FPB 83 WIND HORSE is currently for sale with Berthon.

The smallest of the fleet, the FPB 64 was designed as a result of Steve and Linda Dashew’s experience cruising FPB 83 WIND HORSE. FPB 64 AVATAR built in 2010 was the first of the series. Conceived for a couple to cruise easily and comfortably, the 64 has a single John Deere with a get me home wing engine on a separated drive train. The swim step was extended on later models to improve surfing and this modification has now be included on the whole fleet. They have a large en-suite Owners’ stateroom forward with a double and another single berth cabin aft with heads and great engine room access.

Sold by Berthon in 2021, FPB 97 ICEBERG is the largest and fastest of the series. Built in 2014, she was commissioned whilst the FPB 64s were in build. WIND HORSE was used as a life sized model during her design development, having her bathing platform increased in size to replicate ICEBERG for real time trials. Since her 2014 launch, she has successfully covered more than 50,000 nautical miles, demonstrating her capability as both a crewed yacht and a nimble vessel suitable for owner-operator use during local cruising.

Developed for family use, the FPB 78 may be handled by a couple, but all three hulls have comfortable separated accommodation for crew in addition to a large Owners’ stateroom and three large en-suite guest cabins. All three hulls have covered significant distances including the Pacific, Antarctic, Norway and the Northwest Passage and many points between. #1 COCHISE was Steve and Linda Dashew’s final FPB and her sister GREY WOLF II is MCA Category 0 in class.

SUNDEER 60: An Ideal Bluewater Cruising Boat

' src=

This innovative bluewater performance cruiser was one of a series of designs developed by offshore sailing guru Steve Dashew starting in 1978. Dashew’s basic concept of a long, narrow, fast boat designed to be sailed long distances by a couple first saw fruition in his Deerfoot line, which he built in fiberglass and in aluminum on a sporadic basis at several locations. The Sundeer line was more refined and focused and consisted of three boats–the Sundeer 64, 60, and 56. These were the only Dashew designs ever built on a true production basis.

The ketch-rigged Sundeer 64 boasted three double staterooms and was arguably larger than a couple would ever need. The cutter-rigged 60 and 56, which were absolutely identical but for an extra four feet of lazarette space tacked on to the transom of the 60, were probably truer expressions of Dashew’s original vision. In all there were 27 Sundeers built at TPI Composites from 1994-99, nine of which were Sundeer 60s. I helped deliver the last one built from Rhode Island to Florida through two February gales (including one right off Cape Hatteras) and to this day I remember it as perhaps the most impressive bluewater cruiser I’ve ever sailed.

Glancing at this boat’s numbers you should immediately note its low D/L ratio , just 80, which effectively qualifies it as an ultra-light racing machine. This is not achieved through radical construction, though the Sundeer’s hull lay-up is thoroughly modern. Both the deck and hull, above and below the waterline, consist of quadraxial and biaxial glass cloth set in vinylester resin vacuum-bagged over a balsa core using TPI’s proprietary SCRIMP resin-infusion process. Much of the weight saving is simply a result of the boat’s hull form, which maximizes waterline length and minimizes beam. The long, light hull is easily driven, as is reflected in its high nominal hull speed , but is powered by a short inboard sail plan (air draft is just 64 feet) that yields only a modest SA/D ratio .

Because the long, narrow hull has good directional stability and doesn’t need a tall rig to drive it, the keel can be kept short and shallow. This reduces wetted surface area and enhances structural integrity. For cruisers it has added benefits: the 6-foot draft allows reasonable access to shoal-water cruising grounds, and the mast just fits under most U.S. highway bridges.

Under sail the Sundeer certainly doesn’t feel like a 60-foot boat. The loads involved in hoisting, trimming, and reefing the sails are moderate enough that they can be handled without power winches. From behind the wheel, the impression is of a fast, easily managed 45-footer. The boat also has a surprisingly comfortable motion. Though the bilges are shallow, the bottom of the hull is round, and this, combined with the narrow beam, helps cushion the blows when pounding into a head sea, reduces pitching, and allows for a smoother motion generally.

The Sundeer is not as comfortable as a heavy displacement full-keel boat, but it is considerably more comfortable than most modern shallow-bilged boats. It tracks better than most other modern boats and like more full-keeled boats can be trimmed out to steer itself for a while. A Sundeer rarely sails up to its hull speed, thanks to the short rig, but much of the time it lopes along quite comfortably at 9 to 11 knots, which is fast enough to cover 200 miles a day.

The interior layout is very functional. The living space is segregated from the mechanical systems, which are all situated in an enormous aft lazarette/engine space, and from the major storage area for sails and deck gear, which is a large forepeak with lots of big canvas storage bins framed by sturdy stainless steel rails. The three areas are separated by watertight collision bulkheads.

The master stateroom is an enormous forward cabin with scads of storage and hanging space, perfect for a couple lying to a hook in a tropical anchorage. The only other stateroom is a small quarter cabin aft with two single bunk berths–perfect for a couple on passage, for a pair of children, or for putting up guests while in port. There is just one large, well-appointed head, situated aft, where it can be used comfortably at sea, plus a large, well laid out galley.

The deck plan likewise is superb. There are no less than 10 tall dorade vents to shovel fresh air below, each with sturdy granny bars that provide lots of handholds for working crew. The cockpit is laid out so the helmsman can easily reach most of the working lines and winches. Also, most Sundeers were built with functional solid doghouses to protect crew on watch. These feature full-length settees that are great for on-deck snoozing.

The basic systems layout emphasizes simplicity over complexity. You can load up on gadgets if you want, but it’s possible to live very comfortably on this boat without them. There is room for a 1,000-amp-hour DC battery bank down low in the middle of the boat where the weight helps stability, so a generator is not necessary. Also, the fresh-water tanks are enormous and the deck is configured to route all rainfall to the tank fills, so a watermaker is superfluous. The tanks are outboard on either side of the boat, with a cross-linked gravity-fed plumbing system that allows water to be transferred from one side to the other to help reduce heeling. The fuel tanks have large accessible sumps underneath and the vents are positioned as high as possible on deck, cleverly concealed inside the tops of the aft stanchion posts.

The Sundeer is filled with thoughtful little touches like this, all of them designed to make a bluewater cruiser’s life simpler and safer. Very few bluewater boats are so carefully conceived. It is a shame so few of these boats were built and that it is no longer in production.

Blue Water: The Legacy of the Dashews

They have travelled the world's oceans together for over 40 years, have sailed to the most beautiful and exciting destinations around the globe and have owned a wide variety of boats. During their travels, they raised their two daughters on board. Steve and Linda Dashew are long-distance drivers from the very beginning.

The famous long-distance sailing couple Linda and Steve Dashew

In the sixties, they started out with a racing catamaran. In the mid-seventies, they switched to a 50-foot monohull. They sailed around the world in it for seven years. During this time, they designed their own long-distance yachts and recorded all the knowledge they had gathered along the way in books. Their "Offshore Cruising Encyclopedia" is one of the most important and comprehensive international standard works on long-distance sailing.

The Dashews books, now available for everyone to download free of charge

Her "Mariner's Weather Handbook" and the titles "Surviving in the Storm" and "Practical Seamanship" also found their way into every well-stocked ship's library. All of these books are now only available second-hand or, in a few remaining copies, new, but then at enormously high prices - for example, the Dashews' weather book can cost over 200 US dollars.

Now the Dashews have decided to make their knowledge available to everyone free of charge as a thank you to the worldwide cruising community. The four book titles mentioned can now be downloaded as PDF files from the Internet. Downloaded become.

Hot on the trail of 56 superyachts owned by Russian oligarchs and subject to seizure

  • Published: Mar. 06, 2022, 2:04 p.m.

French authorities have seized the yacht Amore Vero linked to Igor Sechin, a Putin ally who runs Russian oil giant Rosneft, as part of EU sanctions over Russia's invasion of Ukraine. • The Associated Press

The massive superyacht Dilbar stretches one-and-a-half football fields in length, about as long as a World War I dreadnought. It boasts two helipads, berths for more than 130 people and a 25-meter swimming pool long enough to accommodate another whole superyacht.

Dilbar was launched in 2016 at a reported cost of more than $648 million. Five years on, its purported owner, the Kremlin-aligned Russian oligarch Alisher Usmanov, was already dissatisfied and sent the vessel to a German shipyard last fall for a retrofit reportedly costing another couple hundred million dollars.

That’s where she lay in drydock on Thursday when the United States and European Union announced economic sanctions against Usmanov — a metals magnate and early investor in Facebook — over his ties to Russian President Vladimir Putin and in retaliation for the invasion of Ukraine.

“We are joining with our European allies to find and seize your yachts, your luxury apartments, your private jets,” President Joe Biden said during his State of the Union speech Tuesday night, addressing the oligarchs. “We are coming for your ill-begotten gains.”

But actually seizing the behemoth boats could prove challenging. Russian billionaires have had decades to shield their money and assets in the West from governments that might try to tax or seize them.

Several media outlets reported Wednesday that German authorities had impounded Dilbar. But a spokeswoman for Hamburg state’s economy ministry told The Associated Press no such action had yet been taken because it had been unable to establish ownership of the yacht, which is named for Usmanov’s mother.

Dilbar is flagged in the Cayman Islands and registered to a holding company in Malta, two secretive banking havens where the global ultra-rich often park their wealth.

Still, in the industry that caters to the exclusive club of billionaires and centimillionaires that can afford to buy, crew and maintain superyachts, it is often an open secret who owns what.

Working with the U.K.-based yacht valuation firm VesselsValue, the AP compiled a list of 56 superyachts — generally defined as luxury vessels exceeding 79 feet in length — believed to be owned by a few dozen Kremlin-aligned oligarchs, seaborne assets with a combined market value estimated at more than $5.4 billion.

The AP then used two online services — VesselFinder and MarineTraffic — to plot the last known locations of the yachts as relayed by their onboard tracking beacons.

While many are still anchored at or near sun-splashed playgrounds in the Mediterranean and Caribbean, more than a dozen were underway to or had already arrived in remote ports in small nations such as the Maldives and Montenegro, potentially beyond the reach of Western sanctions. Three are moored in Dubai, where many wealthy Russians have vacation homes.

Another three had gone dark, their transponders last pinging just outside the Bosporus in Turkey — gateway to the Black Sea and the southern Russian ports of Sochi and Novorossiysk.

Graceful, a German-built Russian-flagged superyacht believed to belong to Putin, left a repair yard in Hamburg on Feb. 7, two weeks before Russia invaded Ukraine. It is now moored in the Russian Baltic port of Kaliningrad, beyond the reach of Western sanctions imposed against him this past week.

Some Russian oligarchs appear to have not gotten the memo to move their superyachts, despite weeks of public warnings of Putin’s planned invasion.

French authorities seized the superyacht Amore Vero on Thursday in the Mediterranean resort town of La Ciotat. The boat is believed to belong to Igor Sechin, a Putin ally who runs Russian oil giant Rosneft, which has been on the U.S. sanctions list since Russia annexed Crimea in 2014.

The French Finance Ministry said in a statement that customs authorities boarded the 289-foot Amore Vero and discovered its crew was preparing for an urgent departure, even though planned repair work wasn’t finished. The $120 million boat is registered to a company that lists Sechin as its primary shareholder.

On Saturday, Italian financial police in the port of San Remo seized the 132-foot superyacht Lena, which is flagged in the British Virgin Islands. Authorities said the boat belongs to Gennady Timchenko, an oligarch close to Putin and among those sanctioned by the European Union. With an estimated net worth of $16.2 billion, Timchenko is the founder of the Volga Group, which specializes in investments in energy, transport and infrastructure assets.

The 213-foot Lady M was also seized by the Italians while moored in the Riviera port town of Imperia. In a tweet announcing the seizure on Friday, a spokesman for Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi said the comparatively modest $27 million vessel was the property of sanctioned steel baron Alexei Mordashov, listed as Russia’s wealthiest man with a fortune of about $30 billion.

But Mordashov’s upsized yacht, the 464-foot Nord, was safely at anchor on Friday in the Seychelles, a tropical island chain in the Indian Ocean not under the jurisdiction of U.S. or EU sanctions. Among the world’s biggest superyachts, Nord has a market value of $500 million.

Since Friday, Italy has seized $156 million in luxury yachts and villas in some of its most picturesque destinations, including Sardinia, the Ligurian coast and Lake Como.

Most of the Russians on the annual Forbes list of billionaires have not yet been sanctioned by the United States and its allies, and their superyachts are still cruising the world’s oceans.

The evolution of oligarch yachts goes back to the tumultuous decade after the 1991 fall of the Soviet Union, as state oil and metals industries were sold off at rock-bottom prices, often to politically connected Russian businessmen and bankers who had provided loans to the new Russian state in exchange for the shares.

Russia’s nouveau riche began buying luxury yachts similar in size and expense to those owned by Silicon Valley billionaires, heads of state and royalty. It’s a key marker of status in Moscow and St. Petersburg, and size matters.

“No self-respecting Russian oligarch would be without a superyacht,” said William Browder, a U.S.-born and now London-based financier who worked in Moscow for years before becoming one of the Putin regime’s most vocal foreign critics. “It’s part of the rite of passage to being an oligarch. It’s just a prerequisite.”

As their fortunes ballooned, there was something of an arms race among the oligarchs, with the richest among them accumulating personal fleets of ever more lavish boats.

For example, Russian metals and petroleum magnate Roman Abramovich is believed to have bought or built at least seven of the world’s largest yachts, some of which he has since sold off to other oligarchs.

In 2010, Abramovich launched the Bermuda-flagged Eclipse, which at 533 feet was at the time the world’s longest superyacht. Features include a wood-burning firepit and swimming pool that transforms into a dance floor. Eclipse also boasts its own helicopter hangar and an undersea bay that reportedly holds a mini-sub.

Dennis Cauiser, a superyacht analyst with VesselsFinder, said oligarch boats often include secret security measures worthy of a Bond villain, including underwater escape hatches, bulletproof windows and armored panic rooms.

“Eclipse is equipped with all sorts of special features, including missile launchers and self-defense systems on board,” Cauiser said. “It has a secret submarine evacuation area and things like that.”

Eclipse was soon eclipsed by Azzam, purportedly owned by the emir of Abu Dhabi, which claimed the title of longest yacht when it was launched in 2013. Three years after that, Usmanov launched Dilbar, which replaced another slightly smaller yacht by the same name. The new Dilbar is the world’s largest yacht by volume.

Abramovich, whose fortune is estimated at $12.4 billion, fired back last year by launching Solaris. While not as long as Eclipse or as big as Dilbar, the $600 million Bermuda-flagged boat is possibly even more luxurious. Eight stories tall, Solaris features a sleek palisade of broad teak-covered decks suitable for hosting a horde of well-heeled partygoers.

But no boat is top dog for long. At least 20 superyachts are reported to be under construction in various Northern European shipyards, including a $500 million superyacht being built for the American billionaire Jeff Bezos.

“It’s about ego,” Cauiser said. “They all want to have the best, the longest, the most valuable, the newest, the most luxurious.”

But, he added, the escalating U.S. and EU sanctions on Putin-aligned oligarchs and Russian banks have sent a chill through the industry, with boatbuilders and staff worried they won’t be paid. It can cost upwards of $50 million a year to crew, fuel and maintain a superyacht.

The crash of the ruble and the tanking of Moscow stock market have depleted the fortunes of Russia’s elite, with several people dropping off the list of Forbes billionaires last week. Cauiser said he expects some oligarch superyachts will soon quietly be listed by brokers at fire-sale prices.

The 237-foot Stella Maris, which was seen by an AP journalist docked this past week in Nice, France, was believed to be owned by Rashid Sardarov, a Russian billionaire oil and gas magnate. After publication of an earlier version of this story, AP was contacted Sunday by yacht broker Joan Plana Palao, who said his company represents a U.S. citizen from California who purchased the Stella Maris last month. He declined to disclose the name of the buyer or the person from whom the boat had been purchased.

On Thursday, the U.S. Treasury Department issued a new round of sanctions that included a press release touting Usmanov’s close ties to Putin and photos of Dilbar and the oligarch’s private jet, a custom-built 209-foot Airbus A340-300 passenger liner. Treasury said Usmanov’s aircraft is believed to have cost up to $500 million and is named Bourkhan, after his father.

Usmanov, whose fortune has recently shrunk to about $17 billion, criticized the sanctions.

“I believe that such a decision is unfair and the reasons employed to justify the sanctions are a set of false and defamatory allegations damaging my honor, dignity and business reputation,” he said in a statement issued through the website of the International Fencing Federation, of which he has served as president since 2008.

Abramovich has not yet been sanctioned. Members of the British Parliament have criticized Prime Minister Boris Johnson for not going after Abramovich’s U.K.-based assets, which include the professional soccer club Chelsea. Under mounting pressure, the oligarch announced this past week he would sell the $2.5 billion team and give the net proceeds “for the benefit of all victims of the war in Ukraine.”

Meanwhile, location transponders showed Solaris moored in Barcelona, Spain, on Saturday. Eclipse set sail from St. Maarten late Thursday and is underway in the Caribbean Sea, destination undisclosed.

New FPB 115 explorer yacht from Dashew Offshore

New from the boards of Dashew Offshore is the FPB 115, the latest in its iconic FPB range of globe-trotting motor yachts.

The 35.2 metre FPB 115 follows in the footsteps of the FPB 64 and 83, offering efficient long-distance cruising with the ability to endure adverse weather in comfort and safety. She has a range of over 5,000 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 12 knots. Given the proven heavy weather performance of the smaller FPBs, the 115 could arguably be called the finest extreme weather yacht ever designed.

'The FPB 115 is the ultimate 4-wheel drive motor yacht. As with all Steve Dashew’s designs, she is both revolutionary and totally practical for worldwide cruising in comfort,’ says Sue Grant at Berthon International.

With just a 1.5 metre draught and the ability to dry out in tidal estuaries, the FPB 115 can explore areas typically unavailable to larger yachts. Add in a structure designed to twice the Lloyd's Special Service Rule with a 12mm bottom plate, and high latitude environments become more inviting.

The FPB 115 is based on a standardised package of structure and systems, with a variety of interior layout options. Plans are available for owners who prefer to cruise without crew, for commercial operators and for fully crewed versions. The particular layout illustrated here is for an owner who wants to run the boat himself, with one hand or a couple as crew.

A pair of 300hp John Deere 6068SFM50 diesels deliver a top speed of 14.5 knots at half load. The FPB 115 features the generator independent systems for which Dashew Offshore are so well known and can go days at anchor without running the genset.

FPB 115s are built in New Zealand to the very highest standards.

The first pavilion of Crocus Expo IEC hosted an extraordinary exposition of the 5th International exhibition of yachts and boats Moscow Boat Show. The show had been incredibly famous for five years already not only thanks to the specialists of the market segment as well as professional sportsmen but also thanks to those who consider sailing sport to be their hobby and well cherished dream.

Moscow Boat Show 2012

Moscow Boat Show 2012

The organizer of the project was the Crocus Expo International Exhibition Centre. The show was supported by Aston Martin Moscow, Burevestnik Group logistics department and the Yachting specialized magazine.

The exposition space increased up to 30 000 sq m and was accommodated in all 4 exhibition halls of the fairgrounds! 280 Russian (Arkhangelsk, Vyborg, Kazan, Kaluga, Republic of Karelia, Moscow and Moscow region, Nizhny Novgorod, Novorossiysk, Novosibirsk, Rostov-on-Don, Samara, St. Petersburg, Sverdlovsk region, Sochi, Chelyabinsk, Tyumen and Yaroslavl region) and foreign ( Denmark , Germany , Holland , Greece , Spain , Italy , Cyprus , China , Latvia , Poland , USA , Turkey , Ukraine, Finland , France , Montenegro and Croatia ) companies participate in the show.

Moscow Boat Show provided the perfect platform from which to preview new products, evaluate market trends, and establish long-lasting and commercially profitable partnerships. Despite the dynamic changes taking place in Russia and the rapid growth of the yachting sector, the show continued to complement and reflect the industry’s demand and is a promotional opportunity not to be missed!

Unique exhibits were presented at the show for the first time: exposition of private submarines from U-Boat Russia company, Marquis Yachts 420 SB motor yacht from Sport Bridge S. Marine series, SAGA-415 yacht from Saga Boats Norwegian shipyard, Jetlev-Flyer from MS Watersports.

More than 400 yachts were displayed within the frames of the event including the largest boats ever exhibited in Russia – the 19-meter giant motor yacht Princess 54 as well as the Princess 50 yacht from Nord Marine and Baja speed boat from Burevestnik.

Domfinland OY unveiled a luxury project from Finnish real estate: a seaside premium class hotel in Hanko named consonant with the location Merihanko.

The trade fair was traditionally opened by a Gala Opening Ceremony. Arcady Zlotnikov, First Deputy Director Crocus Expo IEC, was the first to take the floor at the official opening ceremony. He greeted warmly exhibitors, guests and visitors of Moscow Boat Show. Nikolay Krjuchek, Deputy Chief of the State Inspection on Small size Vessels (GIMS) of the Ministry for Emergency Situations of Russia, Georguiy Shaiduko, Acting President of the Russian Yachting Federation (VFPS), Olympic champion in Atlanta and Ekaterina Grishechkina, Director of exhibition Moscow Boat Show also spoke at the ceremony.

The high-ranking guests noted dynamic development of the branch which well reasoned the intensive growth of the exposition and appearance of rather unique “gems”.

A number of business meetings and negotiations were held within the frames of the project: the exhibition was visited by a large delegation of Greek businessmen for the purpose of establishment of mutually beneficial cooperation with the Russian colleagues.

Russian Yachting Federation (VFPS) celebrated its 100 anniversary within the frames of Moscow Boat Show and arranged an exposition of future sailing sport museum (rare awards, gifts, articles from private collections, pictures and etc.) which had been collected since 1912.

Due to carefully chosen running dates the show was visited by more than 26 000 people. The majority of the visitors were of targeted audience – vessel owners and specialists of the branch.

The work at the next edition of the show is under way! The show will be held in March 2013. The overall exhibit space will comprise 40 000 sq m. The exhibition will impress with exclusive exhibits and the latest technological achievements.

Moscow Boat Show was not only an entertaining but at the same time a business promotional event. Participation in the trade fair was a unique opportunity to present a company and products to a distinctly selected targeted audience of industry specialists. They were well prepared to discuss business in the Russian market and even to close a deal on-site.

The show helped representatives of yachting business to get acquainted with their Russian colleagues and gradually improved national yachting market to a new level. It is obvious that for 5 years of its running the project has turned to a status event of the international exhibitions calendar.
