Emerald Cruises unveils 6 Caribbean yacht itineraries for 2025

Emerald Cruises will operate 6 upscale Caribbean itineraries aboard its yachts, Emerald Azzurra and Emerald Sakara , in 2025.

These 8-day voyages offer luxury and adventure, with new routes including the Caribbean Yachting Discovery and Caribbean Yachting Hideaway.

Departing from St. John’s, Antigua , and San Juan, Puerto Rico , these itineraries feature destinations such as Barbuda, the Iles des Saintes , and the British Virgin Islands. Prices for these new journeys begin at GBP 4,369, with departures in February 2025.

Additional itineraries include Cruising the Leeward Islands and Eastern Caribbean with St. Barths , offering round-trip and point-to-point voyages from Marigot, Saint Martin , and Bridgetown, Barbados . Highlights include snorkeling in Anguilla , visiting the Pitons in St. Lucia, and enjoying exclusive events like a beachside barbecue on Anegada . Prices for these cruises start from GBP 4,388 to GBP 4,853.

Emerald Cruises will also offer the Caribbean Enchantment and Grenadines & Windwards itineraries, with prices beginning at GBP 3,592 and GBP 3,710, respectively.

All cruises include flights, transfers, meals, and excursions.

The 51m/167'4" 'Emerald' motor yacht built by the Italian shipyard Codecasa is available for charter for up to 12 guests in 6 cabins. This yacht features interior styling by Della Role Design.

Built in 2005, Emerald boasts a multitude of decks ideal for relaxation and entertainment indoors or outdoors, ensuring guests will live la dolce vita on the open waters. She has sensational features such as wheelchair accessibility, elevator and gym.

Guest Accommodation

Families will particularly love Emerald thanks to her child-friendly setup. She offers guest accommodation for up to 12 guests with a layout comprising a master suite located on the main deck, one VIP cabin, two double cabins and two twin cabins. There are 10 beds in total, including 1 king, 3 queen, 4 singles and 2 pullmans. She is also capable of carrying up to 11 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht charter experience.

Onboard Comfort & Entertainment

Keeping comfortable and entertained on Emerald is easy thanks to the available amenities such as a dedicated library, where you can unwind in seclusion. Maintain your fitness routine and work out in the well-equipped gym.

Emerald benefits from some excellent features to improve your charter such as wheelchair-friendly access, making this vessel suitable for all guests. Travelling from deck to deck is quick, easy and accessible with the on-board elevator or elsewhere, with Wi-Fi connectivity you don't have to lose contact with the outside world, unless you want to. Guests will experience complete comfort while chartering thanks to air conditioning.

Performance & Range

Built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, she offers greater on-board space and is more stable when at anchor thanks to her full-displacement hull. Powered by twin Caterpillar engines, she comfortably cruises at 14 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 17 knots with a range of up to 5,000 nautical miles from her 120,000 litre fuel tanks at 12 knots.

Emerald has a good selection of water toys and accessories to entertain you and your guests whilst on charter. Take to the sea on the Jet Skis offering you power and control on the water. In addition there are towable toys offering fun and adventure. Also there are waterskis that are hugely entertaining whether you are a beginner or a seasoned pro. If that isn't enough Emerald also features a seabob, wakeboards, fishing equipment and snorkelling equipment. Emerald features two tenders, but leading the pack is a Castoldi Jet Tender to transport you in style.

Emerald and her crew are available for charter this summer for cruising within the Mediterranean. She is also accepting bookings this winter on request.

Explore Russia’s Gems on the MS Nizhny Novgorod in 2021

Emerald Waterways has added the MS Nizhny Novgorod to it’s chartered river-ship portfolio. In 2021 she will be sailing the Russian waterways including Europes longest river, the Volga, providing guests with some truly unforgettable experiences.

Ignore what you read and see in the press. Ask anyone who’s been to Russia for their opinion and they’ll tell you it is the polar opposite of how it is portrayed. It truly is one of the most incredible countries to visit on the planet. I’ve been fortunate to visit Russia on a few occasions and each time have returned home wanting to experience more. In fact, I loved my time in the country so much, I now have a home in Moscow.

Imperial Charms of Russia river cruise This 11-day river cruise allows guests to discover both traditional villages and vibrant cities as they sail from St. Petersburg to Moscow. Highlights include a guided tour of the UNESCO World Heritage-listed city of St. Petersburg, a Shashlik lunch in the picturesque village of Mandrogi, a visit to the Monastery of St. Cyril on the White Lake, and a guided tour of Moscow – exploring the Kremlin Grounds which is the former seat of the Government and a historical, architectural and artistic reserve.

A reverse 12-day Russian itinerary New for 2021, guests can choose the reverse 12-day itinerary for an extra day in St. Petersburg at the end which allows guests to visit Peterhof and see its jaw-dropping collection of gilded fountains, state-lined lanes and picturesque canals that make up the Lower Peterhof.

Ocean Emerald is an iconic superyacht designed by famous British architect, Lord Norman Foster of Foster and Partners, and the striking silhouette of 41.3m Ocean Emerald can't help but turn heads wherever she goes.

Ocean Emerald was built in 2009 by Rodriguez Yachts and has an ultra-modern design that sees the superstructure line sweep up from the bow and drop down to the stern in a dramatic curve, extensive deck space is created and the window size increased, providing an influx of natural light to the interior and an enhanced visual connection with your surroundings.

The salon, situated on the main deck, makes the most of this unusual design and has floor to ceiling panoramic windows. In general, Ocean Emerald offers a tremendous amount of interior space compared to many other yachts of her size.

Ocean Emerald's accommodation is comprised of five suites, in which up to 12 guests can be comfortably accommodated. The master suite is full beam and is positioned on the main deck, with two VIP double cabins and two twin cabins (each with an extra Pullman berth) on the lower deck.  A glass spiral staircase, designed to draw daylight down to the guest accommodation, links the four deck levels.

On the upper deck there's a second salon, which has a casual beach club atmosphere, and this features a bar, game station and an extensive movie library. There's also a state-of-the-art lighting system, which transforms this space in the evening, great for a party, and the adjoining aft deck is ideal for al-fresco dining.

On the top deck you'll find sun pads surrounding the generously sized Jacuzzi, lounge chairs and a bar with stools with or without extractable shade.

Ocean Emerald is a versatile superyacht that can easily switch up the gears from a relaxed family charter to a glamorous party yacht. A stabilization system reduces roll motion, so guests will feel comfortable at all times. Ocean Emerald has a proven 'safety on sea' record and can complete long passages with ease.

Ocean Emerald's core Thai crew deliver a warm welcome and an outstanding level of service. The yacht can also boast two Chefs, one a French gourmet and the other Thai, so cuisine on board is an exciting fusion of specialties.

Further facilities for guests to enjoy include jetskis, kayaks, a wakeboard and waterskis, scuba diving equipment for use by those who are qualified, and a whole host of inflatable and towable toys that can be pulled from her tender, which can achieve up to 50kts!

Ocean Emerald is available for charter in Thailand, Malaysia and the surrounding countries. The unspoiled Anambas Islands are particularly beautiful from May to October and the stunning Mergui Archipelago of Myanmar is a great destination between November and April.

The Ministry of Defence claimed that Russia downed 45 Ukrainian drones overnight, with 11 destroyed over the Moscow region, 23 over the Bryansk region, six over Belgorod, three over Kaluga and two over Kursk. Moscow mayor Sergey Sobyanin said on his Telegram channel: ‘This was one of the biggest attempts of all time to attack Moscow using drones.’  He said strong defences around the capital made it possible to shoot down all the drones before they could hit their intended targets. Some Russian social media channels shared videos of drones apparently being destroyed by air defence systems, which then set off car alarms. Alexander Bogomaz, the governor of the Bryansk region, which borders Ukraine, reported a ‘mass’ attack on his region but that 23 drones were destroyed. While Ukraine has been bogged down in a land conflict in eastern Europe in which the Russians have been driving forward slowly at a heavy cost to both sides, Kyiv has also been attacking Russia with drones. Ukraine has targeted oil refineries and airfields in an attempt to weaken Russia’s fighting potential, and has also targeted the capital several times. The drone attacks come as Ukrainian forces are continuing to push into Russia’s western Kursk region. The daring incursion into Russia has raised morale in Ukraine with its surprising success and changed the dynamic of the fighting. But it is uncertain how long Ukraine will be able to hold the territory it has seized in Kursk. It has also opened up another front in a fight where Ukrainian forces were already badly stretched. The gains in Kursk come as Ukraine continues to lose ground in its eastern industrial region of Donbas. The Institute for the Study of War, a think tank based in Washington, said in its daily report late on Tuesday that the Ukrainians had made additional advances in their incursion, now in its third week. The Russian state news agency Tass reported that 31 people had died since Ukraine’s attack on Russia began on August 6, citing an unnamed source in the medical service – figures which are impossible to verify. African officials say Western nations in Japan have pledged several hundred thousand vaccine doses, but Congo's health minister says the country alone needs some three million doses to control the outbreak. In Italy, divers found five more bodies while searching the luxury yacht that sank off the coast of Sicily on Monday. Recovery crews unloaded body bags from a rescue vessel in Porticello. They're still searching for one final missing person. Fifteen other passengers and crew escaped in a lifeboat and were rescued. Authorities say they believe the British-flagged Bayesian, seen here in file video, was struck by a tornado on the water, which is known as a water spout. But questions remain as to why the yacht sank so quickly. Russian officials say that Ukraine launched one of its largest drone attacks on Moscow last night since Russia's invasion in 2022. Russia claims to have struck down 45 drones, including 11 over Moscow itself. There has been no independent verification of those figures. That comes as Ukraine digs in to defend the city of Pokrovsk in Eastern Ukraine from Russian advances. Its capture would be an important victory for Russia, as Ukraine pushes forward with its own incursion further north in Russia's Kursk region. In Moscow today, a Foreign Ministry spokesperson said Ukraine's military advances there undermine any chances for peace talks. Ukraine's military claims to have taken nearly 500 square miles in Kursk since it first entered Russian territory earlier this month. Back here in the U.S., the economy added far fewer jobs last year and into 2024 than previously reported. In its revised data out today, the Labor Department said that there were 818,000 fewer jobs created between April of last year and this March. That's an average of 174,000 jobs per month, far fewer than the 242,000 that was initially reported. This downgrade follows a disappointing report last month and comes as the U.S. Federal Reserve considers whether to cut interest rates next month. On Wall Street today, stocks ended slightly higher after the Fed raised hopes of an interest rate cut next month. The Dow Jones industrial average added 55 points, inching closer to the 41000-point level. The Nasdaq tacked on more than 100 points for a ninth win in 10 sessions. The S&P 500 also ended higher on the day. And we have two passings of note. New Jersey Congressman Bill Pascrell Jr. Died earlier this morning. The 14-term Democrat was a fixture of his hometown of Paterson, where he had served as mayor, before running for Congress in 1996. Pascrell was a long time advocate for emergency responders and sat on the powerful House Ways and Means Committee. No cause of death has been announced, but he had been in and out of the hospital for months. Congressman Bill Pascrell was 87 years old. Also today, NBA Hall of Famer Al Attles has died. As one of the first Black head coaches in the league, Attles led the Golden State warriors to a championship in 1975. Attles, seen here defending a pass in 1963, was known as the Destroyer for his particularly physical style of play. He spent six decades with the Warriors as a player, a general manager, and team ambassador. It is the longest stint by a player with the same franchise in NBA history. Al Attles was 87 years old. Tuesday’s protests also saw some tense moments outside the Israeli Consulate in Chicago where protesters and police in helmets began pushing and shoving, a CNN crew observed. Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is considering dropping out of the 2024 race and endorsing former President Donald Trump, his running mate Nicole Shanahan said in an interview Tuesday. She framed the decision as an effort to reduce “the risk” of Vice President Kamala Harris becoming president, arguing Kennedy pulls more votes from Trump than from Harris. When asked about the role Kennedy could play in a future Trump administration, Shanahan speculated that her running mate may be open to taking a role as secretary of health and human services. Trump said Tuesday he would “certainly” be open to Kennedy playing a role in his administration. This comes as new filings also show Kennedy is facing dwindling campaign resources and nearly $3.5 million in outstanding debts. Russian authorities today accused Ukraine of launching “one of the largest ever” attempts to attack Moscow with drones. Russia said their defense systems had destroyed 45 Ukrainian drones overnight — including 11 over Moscow, two over the Belgorod border region and two in Kursk. Since the Ukrainian incursion began nearly two weeks ago, its forces are inching forward in Kursk and destroying key bridges in an effort to cripple Moscow’s logistical capabilities and disrupt supply routes. Superyacht sinks Italian authorities continued their search today for six missing people after a tornado sank a luxury yacht Monday off the coast of Sicily.
