First look inside Benetti’s B.Now 50m charter yacht FANTASEA

Showing off her elegant and sophisticated interior for the first time, the brand new images inside the 50m (164ft) superyacht FANTASEA proves she is the perfect platform for any luxury yacht charter vacation .

Marking Benetti ’s third hull in its award-winning B.Now 50 series , the luxury superyacht FANTASEA is home to a wealth of charter -pleasing amenities and beautiful interiors that certainly leave a long-lasting impression. 

The custom motor yacht showcases elegant flowing lines with a near-vertical bow while maintaining a harmonious connection between the interior and outdoor decks. Her gracious interiors were designed by British studio RWD to reflect the characteristics of the owner’s unique vision and insight, whilst Benetti is responsible for her naval architecture and engineering.

Stepping inside, guests are greeted by an interior adorned with a variety of wood textures in a light and neutral color palette, creating a serene and calming environment. The use of contrasting shades of brown adds depth to the interior design, harmonizing with the bespoke interior details throughout the yacht. 

The light-filled main salon boasts large floor-to-ceiling windows and a dining table that is capable of accommodating up to 10 guests and features a bespoke leaf ceiling light that adds a touch of elegance to the contemporary interior design.

Guests are greeted by an interior adorned with a variety of wood textures in a light and neutral color palette, creating a serene and calming environment

Ascending to the upper deck, guests are greeted by spacious relaxation areas, sunbeds aft, and yet another delightful alfresco dining spot. A sliding door provides easy access to the interior lounge of the yacht, where guests can enjoy various seating areas and a sit-up bar, creating the perfect setting for socializing and unwinding.

Additional onboard highlights include a sprawling sundeck with loungers and a bank of sunpads forward, as well as a shaded lounge area and a 36 square-meter beach club area with an infinity pool and additional sun loungers, for the ultimate waterside haven. 

Accommodating 12 guests across 6 staterooms, the yacht is versatile for a variety of charter party configurations. The owner's suite, located forward on the main deck, offers complete privacy with its own private balcony, a spacious walk-in wardrobe, a full-beam ensuite bathroom, and a vanity desk area.

The remaining four guest staterooms are situated amidships on the lower deck, thoughtfully separated from the crew quarters.

Sistership to the 50m (164ft) charter yacht JACOZAMI , which was delivered in 2022, both yachts provide a luxurious platform for those looking to dip their toes into the Mediterranean yacht charter scene.

Luxury motor yacht FANTASEA is part of the BNOW range from the Italian shipyard Benetti and was designed by British studio RWD. She was launched in 2023 and offers exceptional deck spaces and accommodation that can host up to 12 charter guests overnights, sleeping in 6 deluxe suites. The BNOW range offers a balance between indoor and outdoor areas, with a sizeable foredeck, shaded aft decks and fold down terraces visible within the hull for indoor/outdoor flow.

Guests embarking from the lower deck swim platform will be greeted by sumptuous sun lounger placed either side of the staircases for relaxation close to the water. Up on the main deck aft, the large swimming pool features a glass side to the aft and is enveloped in a U-shaped sunpad that functions as a seat as well as a place to sunbathe. A casual lounge setting is placed close to the doors into the main salon and the space is ideal for morning coffee or as an extension to the indoor recreational area.

A port-side staircase connects to the upper deck where a large sofa-sunpad is placed on either side of the aft area, leaving the central space clear for circulating during parties or for exercise such as yoga. A low drinks table surrounded by chairs near the starboard hull adds a cosy space for guests to relax and converse outdoors.

On the foredeck there is an extensive seating area for alfresco dining and outdoor lounging, consisting of two C-shaped sofas each surrounding a drinks table.

The sundeck exterior is divided into a forward and aft section, with the former boasting a large Jacuzzi surrounded by sunpads while to the aft there is an alfresco dining area in the shade while the aft section is lined with sun loungers.

Current information on the interior layout suggests a spa, beach club and a gym as well as guest accommodation placed upon the lower deck and a rotating bar and fireplace within the Owner's stateroom.

The main deck salon is a glamorous environment offering comfortable inclusive seating area, with an aft-facing C-shaped sofa close to the fully-glazed aft and its glass sliding doors. A massive widescreen TV connected to the ceiling can be concealed when not in use, and the forward area contains a breakfast bar that can also be used for intimate evening dining.

FANTASEA Specifications

The skylounge offers a second indoor social area and an ambient retreat daytime or night. Designed for entertaining, the forward wall is fitted with an elegant bar with art deco elements.

The Owner's suite uses a classic colour scheme of pure white with accents in navy and gold, with warm-coloured LED lighting to set off the beautiful high quality materials such as the marble table top. A widescreen TV is placed in the forward wall opposite the port-side bed, leaving the starboard section free for a lounge with its own widescreen TV also integrated into the forward wall. The starboard bulwark opens up to create a private side terrace and bring the outdoor ambiance into the suite.

Charter yacht of the week: the 50m Benetti yacht Fantasea

Each week we place a spotlight on one of the world’s finest superyachts for charter . This week, BOAT takes a look at 49.9-metre Fantasea , a new addition to the charter fleet and a fine example of why Benetti’s B.Now series is a roaring success…

Following the delivery of the first hull in 2021, Benetti’s B.Now series has proved remarkably successful. Now just three years down the line, Benetti has sold more than 20 units of the 49.90-metre series, with 13 more under construction at the shipyard in Livorno.

Having been delivered in the first quarter of 2023, Fantasea is the third hull in the B.Now series, following her sisterships Iryna and Birubi. She’s a fine example of why this series is a resounding success, not just for private use, but for charter too, which is why we take a look at Fantasea as the Charter yacht of the Week.

Key Features

Penned by British design studio, RWD Fantasea’s exterior is intrinsically well-balanced and defined by sweeping windows and fluid lines. A strong emphasis has been placed on the connection of indoor and outdoor spaces, achieved through panoramic windows and open planned spaces.

A key feature (and one of the ways this feeling of fluidity is achieved), is the open 36-square-metre beach club, accessible from the main deck. The space comprises a steam room and "sea saloon" as well as a fully-fledged hammam. Here guests can slip directly into to the water through an unfolding shell door that forms an overwater balcony starboard. In fact, wellness is an important feature of Fantasea , comprising not only an impressive spa but a gym set-up too which is stocked with treadmills and weights.

Her aft deck is defined by an impressive infinity pool – a focal point of her stern and key to the yacht’s profile. While the pool is large for a 50-metre, it has been positioned in a way which doesn’t encroach on the spacious aft-deck lounge area, which has two sofas and a coffee table. The primary alfresco dining space on board is on the upper deck aft, where lies a rectangular table along with more lounging space – perfect for enjoying late-night digestifs in comfort.

Why Fantasea is the perfect charter yacht?

When Benetti outlined the pillars for this revolutionary series, a key feature was the need for long-distance travel; Benetti’s modern-day owner makes the most of remote working. In this vein, a high-performing yacht with a shallow draft and propulsion system that can go the distance was developed by P.L.A.N.A Design in collaboration with the Azimut Benetti Research & Development department. The result is a range of 4,500 nautical miles allowing the yacht to travel for weeks without returning to port for refuelling. Playing into this is also the reduced noise and vibration, allowing for a more serene experience while chartering for longer periods.

Kitted out with fun in mind, Fantasea features an impressive toybox which is brimming with Jetskis, gadgets and an inflatable docking station. While she may look remarkably elegant, special attention has been paid to fun and entertainment on board, a great choice for families. In the spacious bow lounge, you’ll find an impressive open-air cinema setup for movie nights under the stars.

Accommodation on board is for 11 guests across six cabins. The master cabin spans the entire 9.2-metre beam and benefits from its own private al fresco terrace. Three doubles and one convertible twin are found on the lower deck, with an additional single cabin on the upper deck to starboard.

What’s special about Fantasea ?

Having been delivered in the first quarter of 2023, Fantasea is a new entry to the charter fleet, and remains in immaculate condition. Her spaces are light, elegant and airy, with lots of entertaining and relaxing spaces throughout. Interior themes, however, are welcoming and relaxed rather than opulent or ornate.

Unlike the first B.Now 50, Iryna, the design team opted for a more pared-back theme for Fantasea , focusing on a refined coffee-and-cream colour palette with diffused lighting, curved furnishings, and plenty of wood and other natural materials throughout. Soft blue tones are placed throughout the interiors adding to the calming aesthetic. The meld between interior and exterior spaces is composed beautifully, and the open plan approach of interior living spaces such as the main saloon are flooded with natural light.

Fantasea   is available to charter with Royal Yacht International with a weekly rate from $320,000.

Interior Design & Engineering

The 50-metre FANTASEA motor yacht was built in 2023 by Benetti and boasts a sleek, extended profile designed by the award-winning RWD Design Studio.

Equipped with the latest technology, this luxury superyacht offers exceptionally comfortable cruising thanks to reduced noise and vibrations.

Her interior is a pared-back combination of coffee and cream colours, softened further by diffused lighting, curved furnishings, and plenty of natural materials throughout.

Your FANTASEA yacht charter can accommodate 11 guests across six cabins. The full-beam master comes with a walk-in wardrobe, en suite bathroom and a private balcony. The rest of the cabins comprise one VIP on the upper deck, with three doubles and a twin on the lower deck.

Yacht Facilities & Entertainment

The generous beach club is a particular highlight of the FANTASEA yacht. Spreading across 36 square metres, it encompasses a fully equipped gym and a hammam. You can jump straight into the sea via the unfolding shell door that creates an overwater balcony when lowered.

The beach club is accessible via the main deck, which boasts an infinity pool at the stern and an exterior lounge that overlooks it. Head forward to the foredeck area and you’ll find more sofas delivering spectacular views across the bow.

The open-plan main salon of the FANTASEA motor yacht features a large sofa facing a giant television, perfect for intimate movie nights or relaxed downtime, and leads to a formal dining area that seats 10.

Above, the upper deck aft offers a U-shaped sofa and plenty of space for the whole group to enjoy an alfresco meal around the spacious dining table. Sliding glass doors lead you into the upper salon, where you can sink into the plush sofas, grab a drink at the sit-up table, or enjoy a movie on the large screen.

Of course, your FANTASEA yacht charter wouldn’t be complete without hours spent basking in the fresh air on the sun deck. You wake up your body by using the exercise equipment or sipping a morning coffee on the sofas amidship. When you’re ready to top up the tan, you can recline across the sun loungers that line the aft or head forward to soak in the Jacuzzi. Cool down with an ice-cold drink from the sit-up bar, or pop up the parasols to get some shade.

Toys & Crew

An experienced, family-oriented crew will ensure everyone has the time of their life during your FANTASEA yacht charter.

They’ll be able to take you ashore in the 19ft Castoldi water jet tender so you can indulge in some land-based leisure.

They’ll also be on hand to help everyone get as much pleasure from the water toys as possible. FANTASEA’s overflowing collection includes Seadoos, a jetboard, wakeboard, wakeskate, inflatable paddleboards, and more.
