SKAT sea trials after refit in Wewelsfleth
In May we had the chance to join M/Y SKAT on sea trials after she completed her refit at Kusch Yachts in Wewelsfleth.
The 71m yacht has been sold prior her shipyard period and is now ready to sail the seven seas again. SKAT was built by Lürssen in 2002 with a military design drawn by Espen Oeino.
During her refit SKF Marine installed new stabilizers for smoother sailings and less rolling movements of the yacht.

Facilities A world-class shipyard with state-of-the-art facilities: Kusch Yachts is supported by Peters Werft yard. We are conveniently located on the river Elbe, right between Hamburg and the North Sea. Kusch Yachts takes advantage of two large, modern dry docks with flexible protection halls, crew offices with well-equipped galley and modern storage sheds. The outfitting quay is fully equipped with all necessary infrastructure.
Kusch Yachts provides the complete spectrum of construction services, including refit and repair. We also offer excellent yacht consultancy services. An optimum level of dedicated service is available for custom-made yachts up to 135 m in length.
