Dear Ali, Donal O’Dwyer here from Sydney. We had the true pleasure of chartering your beautiful gullet from Bodrum to Gocek for a week on the last week in September. It was a family get together and it was for us all the trip of a lifetime. Prior to arriving I have to say that the folks I worked through to book the gulet were very good and professional. Then to start the trip, the time of year was perfect – beautiful temperature and, as it was nearing the end of the season, it was relatively quiet. Secondly, the region we travelled in was truly magnificient – with the turquoise waters, the fabulous coastal scenery including so many secluded bays it was sheer perfection. And now to the gullet and crew.- Esma Sultan is magnificient – it is spacious and beautifully built and laid out. Although we were a large family group it was just as easy to escape and be on your own or mix with the other family members as you wished – there were so many places on the boat to accommodate us. It was an absolute joy. Finally, you had a magnificent crew – all of them. The Captain (Usay) was so great – he wanted to do all he could to ensure we had the holiday we wished for – he discussed the itinerary frequently and always was of the view that it was what we wanted that mattered. We had a small medical emergency – which thankfully proved to be a false alarm – but the Usay made sure he was with us at all times – waited at the medical centre with us until everything was solved and was invaluable with his knowledge and language at the hospital. The chef was outstanding sh is a truly lovely person – again great variety and excellent quality of food. Everyone raved about the food! The [erson that mainly took care of our day to day needs such as serving drinks etc was Tah Tah - he is such a good and nice young man - a great sense of fun - he was magnificent. The other staff were always attentive and excellent – they were always there when needed but not intrusive at other times. Ali, we had the holiday of a lifetime – enormously due to being on your beautiful gullet with an exceptional crew and great human beings. Food and Beverage

We offer full board accommodation for your yacht charter. You can choose between standard, luxury or deluxe menus and pay between 55 and 85 Euros per person per day.

You can supply your alcoholic beverages or you can order us.

All service is provided by boat staff.

Most of the gulets are rented on a WEEKLY basis from Saturday to Saturday, especially during high season (June-July-August-September). Smaller gulets with lower capacity can be rented for shorter periods. In May and October, which is called the Low Season, charters can be done for any period.

The time of boarding is after 3.00 pm on Saturdays and disembarkation is by 10.00 am following Saturday.

Motoryachts are rented on  a daily base any time of the season, there s no limitation like gulets. Minimum motoryacht rental is 1 day.

If you wish to exercise your right to cancel the reservation, the following cancellation conditions apply, depending on the date interval in between approving and canceling a charter agreement;

a) If cancellation is done 60 days prior to arrival, deductible will be 20% of the total charter price

b) If cancellation is done 59 days or less prior to arrival, deductible will be 40% of the total charter price

c) If cancellation is done 15 days or less prior to arrival, 100% of the total charter price will be required.

Esma Sultan 2 gulet is 24 metres yacht with four cabins and can accommodate small groups up to 8 persons. Built-in 2010 for luxury boat charters offers a modern gulet design and 24 meters in length. Her cabins are spacious and stylish. This yacht accommodates  special guests in 1 master, 1 VIP double, 1 double and 1 twin cabin. She is ideal for both families and couples only groups.

On deck, there is an al fresco dining area and a comfortable relaxation area. Sun deck with a vast area in sunbeds are providing luxury and comfortable cruises. From the aft deck alfresco dining and lounging areas to the forward deck as well as the flybridge – which was redone in 2015.  Esma Sultan 2 Gulet water toys onboard including Water Ski, Ringo, Wake board, Canoe, Fishing and Snorkelling Sets, 4.50m dinghy with outboard 60HP

Esma Sultan 2 Gulet Itineraries and Menu

Esma Sultan 2 is available for charters on Greek islands and Turkey. This gulet base port is Bodrum,  but she can also Marmaris or Gocek if you wish to sail South Turkish coast.  Navigating with your gulet in Greece involves extra costs for transit log and port expenses.

Meals on board are an essential part of the cruise, and our guests always appreciate the menu. Superior full board menu is the best choice on this gulet. The price for all weekly meals is affordable from 250€ per adults and 150€ for children.

You also have other menu options you can choose from. We can organise the economy standard menu or a very rich luxury menu. The main difference, of course, is in the variety, quality, and service of food.

The superior deluxe menu contains lots of fish and excellent meat. Not to forget, cold dishes and appetizers, as well as bigger and well-presented salad, fruits and sweets.

In your preference list, you can also indicate beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, and we can purchase for you at the local shop. You may also organise and buy your own catering.

Boarding day for Esma Sultan gulet weekly charters is Saturday Afternoon. She can be available for shorter charters out of high season. Enquire here!

• If a client wishes to use private marinas the costs can vary from 300 and up to 500 €/night.
• In Turkey, it is customary to tip min 5% and up to 12% of the charter price, according to satisfaction of guests.

Additional Motorized Water Sports:

• Esma Sultan has Jet ski, water skiing, and Ringo ride which is charged for the fuel used according to clients usage.

Other Options on request:

• Airport transfers, diving schools recommendations, guided land tours, restaurant bookings, bike rentals, hotel recommendations, spa recommendations, ...

How does the charter agreement work?

Once your chosen yacht has been confirmed, we will send you a standard MYBA or Goolets charter agreement that needs to be signed. If your chosen cruise route requires a different embarking or disembarking place other than the yacht's central harbor, delivery/redelivery fees may apply.

What are the payment terms?

After signing the MYBA or Goolets charter agreement, a deposit of 50% of the total charter cost is required. You can pay the fee via bank transfer or credit card (only Visa or MasterCard). The other 50%, an Advance Provisioning Allowance (if applicable), taxes, positioning fees, and any previously agreed charges are payable via bank transfer eight weeks before departure.

What are the actual operating expenses?

Once you made the final payment of the charter, you pay the Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA). Under MYBA terms, this fee is usually between 30% - 40% of the total charter cost.

This covers the operating expenses of a charter (explained under Charter Terms), such as fuel, food, drinks, port fees, and ad hoc incidentals. The APA is given to the captain before the start of your charter. Some yachts and gulets also offer food/drinks packages which are normally paid in cash during embarkation, while the port taxes are paid during embarkation according to the costs presented by the captain. The Captain ensures that the yacht is fully fuelled and stocked when you step on board. 

While an up-to-date summary of accounts can be requested at any time during your charter, a full set of accounts will normally be submitted by your captain at the end of the cruise. 

In case of surpassing the amount of money already paid during your yacht charter (with the APA), additional funds (in cash) will be required at once. If there is an outstanding balance from the yacht charter, it should be settled in cash or by bank transfer before you disembark. In case of a remaining credit at the end of your charter, you will be fully reimbursed. 

If a transfer by car to and from the yacht is required, it can be arranged either by the charter company or by the yacht’s captain, payment for which will be deducted from your APA.

How can we make your yacht charter personalized?

To ensure a unique and tailor-made charter experience, we will send you a detailed questionnaire eight weeks before you embark on your yacht. You can tell us your group's preferences and special requirements, such as dietary or medical needs, any particular wishes regarding exercise, entertainment, or if you are celebrating a special occasion. 

Are internet and satellite TV connections available onboard?

In case you really need to get some work done during your vacation, no worries. On most yachts, there is mobile broadband internet and satellite TV, so you will stay connected to the rest of the world. Just keep in mind that the service can be limited in some areas (you are in the middle of the sea after all). If you anticipate regular usage of the internet, let us know prior to embarking, as upgrades might be subject to availability and additional fees may apply.

Is smoking allowed onboard?

Smoking is permitted only on the outside decks, and on some yachts, only in dedicated outdoor areas. Please consult our charter brokers for more information. For safety reasons, smoking indoors is strictly prohibited on all yachts.

Are tips for the crew mandatory?

Even though tips are not mandatory, the guests normally extend a gratuity to the devoted crew. The amount depends on the guest's satisfaction, but it is approximately 10% of the charter fee. The tips are equally distributed among all crew members by the captain.

Should I get any insurance?

In case of unforeseen circumstances that might prevent the charter, we highly recommend taking out the Cancellation and Curtailment Insurance to protect the investment. Besides that, the guests should be covered by Personal Accident and Medical Insurance, and their belongings are insured against theft, loss, or damage. Charterers’ Liability insurance is also highly recommended. Contact your broker for further assistance and additional advice regarding the insurance.

How are the charter rates calculated?

Charter rates are estimated weekly. If a charter exceeds seven days, they are calculated pro-rata against the weekly rate divided by seven and multiplied by the number of charter days. Keep in mind that some yachts are only chartered on a weekly (Saturday-Saturday or Sunday-Sunday) basis, especially during the high season.

High and low season rates vary depending on charter locations and types of yachts. The high rates apply to the most popular charter periods (July/August and Christmas/New Year), and to all major events. Low season rates apply to all other periods.

The charter rates on our website are up to date but may be subject to change. 

What are the charter terms?

Most charter rates are based on MYBA Terms, which entail that the yacht is in full commission, with all necessary equipment, properly insured for marine risks, and managed by a crew, whose wages, food, and clothing are the owner’s expense.

All other operating expenses are charged to the charterer and include (but are not limited to): fuel and lubricating oils for the yacht and her tenders; local taxes; pilotage; port, harbor, and marina dues; customs clearance; water and power; personal laundry; all provisions, wines, beers, spirits, soft drinks and consumables for the charterer’s group; shoreside excursions, telecommunication, and internet costs.

Please note that, occasionally, a yacht may offer an alteration on the terms described above. For further information about specific yachts, consult your broker.

Do any other taxes apply?

For charters in European waters, Value Added Tax and delivery costs may be charged on the gross Charter Fee, due to the European Union tax legislation. In other countries, local taxes may also apply. Depending on your chosen charter destination, our brokers will provide any prevalent rates.

ESMA SULTAN 2 is a 24 meters long ketch type yacht. The beam is 6,60 meters and the draft is 2,90 meters. The yacht has 2 x 280 HP engine. There are tanks for 3 tons of fuel and 7 tons of water.

Gulet yacht ESMA SULTAN 2 has  2 VIP master + 1 double + 1 twin cabins for up to 8 guests. All cabins have air conditioning. All cabins have private home type toilets and showers. There are separate crew quarters for total of 4 crew in the yacht.

To cruise aboard the elegant deluxe ketch gulet Esma Sultan is to enjoy a very pampered luxurious cruise along the beautiful Turkish coast. The unique architecture of the yacht, the flybridge, and the splendid interior of this classic gulet have blended the best features of gulets with the ultra-comforts of a motor yacht.

The luxurious aft master cabin enjoys the ample space afforded by the full beam width of the gulet – with the round, angled king-size bed, a make-up/writing table, a settee, and the whirlpool bathtub which is integrated into one side of the cabin. Plenty of storage and the private marble-lined, fully fitted bathroom complete the luxurious comfort for guests. The long 40m hull allows generous space for the four double bed cabins and two cabins with a double and a single bed, and all offer full guest comforts with side seats, storage, televisions, an ensuite private bathroom, and all have air-conditioning available.

The custom design of this ketch gulet Esma Sultan features the light-filled saloon integrated into the deck structure as two separate units. The upper saloon towards the bow has a small but sumptuous seating lounge with a low table and two separate, curved tables with curved long leather-covered sofas ideal for meetings, cozy gatherings, or entertainment with the large screen and music system.

The larger saloon towards the aft is perfect for entertaining with open space between the two facing long couches of white leather with a small coffee table, and a large console for the television and music entertainment system. The combination of polished mahogany and white leather pads gives the entire saloon an avant-garde atmosphere. Full-length glass sliding doors open the main saloon onto the spacious aft deck, where a large dining table offers the pleasure of enjoying delicious meals outdoors.

Set under the upper deck for good shelter and lighting allows for either a formal or informal setting. On the foredeck towards the bow, another long table is to be found in front of a long seat bench, while on the middle deck behind the mast are the two inviting small jacuzzi to relax in, close to the individual sun pads. Sitting at the bow of the yacht with a sundowner while the sun sets at the end of the day is an experience not to be missed.

Another highlight of the luxury yacht Esma Sultan is the upper deck or flybridge, gained by a small staircase from the aft deck. How does charter Agreement work ? Once your chosen Gulet yacht has been confirmed, we will send you a standard Gulet Broker Yachting charter agreement that needs to be signed.
