A Summary of Motor Yacht VAVA
Hailing from the The Feadship Royal Van Lent Shipyard ship building company in the Netherlands the VAVA is 47 m 155 (foot) in length. Launched by 1996 this boat’s interior decoration illustrates the yachting ideals in the designing of Robert De Nijs. Superyacht VAVA is able to accommodate up to 12 passengers with 11 qualified crew. Her former names or project names were 773. She will attain a high speed of 16 knots.
The New Build & Naval Architecture relating to Luxury Yacht VAVA
De Voogt Naval Architects was the naval architect involved in the technical nautical composition for VAVA. Also the company De Voogt Naval Architects expertly worked on this venture. Interior designer Robert De Nijs was employed for the internal interior ambience. Created at The Feadship Royal Van Lent Shipyard this yacht was built in the yacht producing country of the Netherlands. She was officially launched in Kaag in 1996 before being transferred to the owner. A fairly large feeling is manifested with a total beam (width) of 8.69 m / 28.5 ft. With a 2.68m (8.8ft) draught (maximum depth) she is reasonably shallow. The material steel was used in the building of the hull of the motor yacht. Her superstructure over the hull is created with the use of aluminium. In 2005 further refit work and updating was in addition finished.

The 3512 DITA engine powering the yacht is made by CATERPILLAR. Her propulsion units are twin screw propellers. The engine of the ship creates 1200 horse power (or 883 kilowatts). She is equiped with 2 engines. The combined power for the boat is thus 2400 HP or 1766 KW. As for stabalisers she was built with Vosper.
