Breathtaking Views without Taking a Flight! Our Classical Waterfront & Garden Gazebos both offer gorgeous views of Lake Conroe and are within steps of the Yacht Club, the reception venue. A wedding ceremony beneath the charm of one of our signature gazebos ensures memories of intimacy and spectacular views. The Yacht Club has beautiful floor to ceiling windows overlooking the lake and a floor plan that provides for an intimate setting for 10 or 250. Our professional banquet staff specializes in attention to the smallest of details and our Chef will delight your palate with his culinary cuisine.

Beautiful Lakeside Venue

We've worked with Bentwater Yacht and Country Club for many many years! It's always a pleasure working with them - they are a great team. The Yacht Club is such a beautiful venue beside the lake!!

Bentwater wedding

On May 29, 2023 we had my son's wedding at Bentwater Yacht club. From the first meeting with Mirinda, Bentwater's event coordinator, we knew we wanted to use them for the wedding. Mirinda was there to guide us every step of the way and made the process as stress free as possible. We also had the rehearsal dinner there. The food was great, we got so many compliments. I would recommend Bentwater for any of your party, wedding, or dinner needs.

Alex and Sean are such a sweet and family-oriented couple. We loved photographing their wedding day at Bentwater Yacht Club! From an emotional first look to a ceremony overlooking Lake Conroe and elegant reception details, this isn’t one to miss. Gather all the inspiration you need for your fall wedding in Houston!

Wedding Ceremony on Lake Conroe

The location where Alex and Sean said “I do” was simply breathtaking. Their venue, Bentwater Yacht Club , is perched on the shore of Lake Conroe, with panoramic views of the open water. The couple decided to host their ceremony outdoors in the club’s Signature Gazebo, where the lake rippled softly behind them as they said their vows. It was a beautiful October day without a single cloud in the sky!

In addition to writing their vows, Alex and Sean personalized their ceremony by watering a tree together. We love the unique ways our couples are choosing to symbolize their union, whether it’s lighting a candle, pouring sand, or planting seeds. Then, as the overjoyed bride and groom walked back down the aisle, their loved ones threw fresh flower petals! Capturing the smiles on their faces was one of our favorite moments of the day.

Bridal Portraits at Bentwater Yacht Club

Since Alex and Sean opted for a first look, we were able to snap some portraits before and after their ceremony! We began inside the yacht club, in front of floor-to-ceiling windows that allowed sunlight to pour into the space. It was the perfect location to highlight Sean’s expression when he saw his beautiful bride! Alex looked flawless all day long in a classic updo and soft berry lip. We also adored her simple gown of ivory crepe, with an off-the-shoulder sweetheart neckline and slim-fitting skirt that flowed into a chapel train.

Later on, as the sun began to set over the lake, we snuck the couple away from their reception for a few moments—this is when the best lighting happens! The two took in the view from a balcony overlooking the lake, then headed down to their ceremony location. As they walked together and reminisced on the day, the sky was awash in stunning pastel colors. Soon, it was time to return to the celebration, where a champagne tower and a golf-themed cake (a nod to Sean’s favorite hobby) awaited them!

We had such a wonderful time capturing Alex and Sean’s special day at Bentwater Yacht Club! As engagement season continues, we look forward to hearing from newly engaged couples in the Houston area. Inquire today to book one of our remaining dates for 2023 or 2024!

Christine & Ben | Bentwater Yacht Club Wedding

Christine and Ben’s Bentwater Yacht Club wedding was absolutely beautiful! From the tiny details of their seating chart to the ice cream dessert bar, their day was just incredible! After their engagement session , I was eagerly anticipating their day and could not have been happier to document each moment for them! Cheers to the happy couple and their beautiful Bentwater Yacht Club wedding.

Their Day – A Dreamy Bentwater Yacht Club Wedding

It was threatening rain all day, but the rain perfectly held off until after the ceremony, thank goodness! The day was beautiful and easy in every way. They decided on a beautiful sage green, rose pink, and gold wedding color palette, which came together so perfectly! Their wedding day included a delicious ice cream bar served in Astro’s cups, similar to what you get at Minute Maid Stadium, so fun! While I loved all the special details that brought their day together, a few of my favorite things were the floral print backdrop, and the mirror saying “We saved you a seat” which was beautifully done by Magnolia Designed

A Love So Sweet

I really take the time to get to know my couples, and seeing how these two love each other is something so special! When I asked why they love each other, Christine said this about Ben. “He is incredibly patient. This is evident in the way he cares for every living thing around him: his cat, dog, family, friends, and even the plants in our home. He also is very hard-working. Everything he does, he gives his absolute all! It is very admiring to see someone give so much of themselves every single day and I love this and so much more about him!!”

Ben had this to say about Christine, “How loving, caring, compassionate, and accepting of everyone she meets and has in her life. She is always willing to go the extra mile for anyone and helps me be able to be the man I want to be on a daily basis. She is incredibly introspective and looking to improve and be the best person she can be. It’s amazing to have her in my life and that she is willing to build a life together.”

Ben mentioned, “She tells me everyday, but more importantly through her actions. She is constantly helping, showing interest in my day, and supportive of everything I do.” when I asked how they make each other feel loved. Christine said,“He makes me feel loved with his honest caring. He always has the right words to say to make my day so much better. Every love language he communicates very well with me every single day.”

A Classic Bentwater Yacht Club Wedding

Courtenay & wesley, a classic blue and white spring bentwater yacht club wedding | montgomery, texas.

Oh, where do I begin? This was a very special wedding for me. Courtenay is the last of three incredible sisters that I’ve been so lucky to meet and photograph all of their weddings. Their families are all so wonderful and it’s been the best reunion every time I get to see them. At the end of the night, Courtenay’s father gave me a big hug and said he was sorry he didn’t have any more daughters for me! I laughed and almost cried from my heart bursting with gratitude.

Bentwater Yacht Club Wedding.

Courtenay and Wesley’s wedding was perfect. They had a classic Bentwater Yacht Club wedding in shades of sky blue and white. Courtenay almost bought a florist shop before she met Wesley, and she made all the gorgeous floral arrangements, including her beautiful bouquet!  It rained all day but they didn’t let that stop them from having the best day ever. Everyone was a trooper and I even got to take everyone out in the rain for portraits! I’d say it was worth it! There were so many special moments. I was touched when Courtenay took a moment during the ceremony to turn to Wesley’s parents and thank them for being incredible people and welcoming her into their family. And, I couldn’t help but notice all the loving glances Wesley sneaks in at Courtenay when she doesn’t even know it. They truly are perfect for each other. These two are fun-loving and easy to please.

 How They Met.

These two lovebirds met on Match.com. Wesley played professional golf and traveled a lot so it took them a while to finally meet. They talked for a couple of months but once they finally met Courtenay said, “it was game over!”

The Proposal.

Courtenay had an idea that Wes may propose and kept asking if he was going to do it. Wesley convinced her that the ring didn’t get finished in time to do it at Christmas. Wes surprised me with the help of my oldest sister. Wesley proposed to Courtenay at her family Christmas get-together on December 19, 2020. Wesley knew Courtenay would prefer to have her family there and with the help of her oldest sister, he made it happen. Courtenay had an idea that Wes may propose and kept asking if he was going to do it. But, Wesley convinced her that the ring didn’t get finished in time to do it at Christmas. SURPRISE!!!

Congratulations, Courtenay and Wesley! It was a joy to have a small part in your best day ever! Here are just a few of my many favorites from your wedding day!

Courtenay, Jordan, and Hailey! I’ve been so lucky to have met these three beautiful sisters and photographed all their incredible weddings! They truly feel like family to me!

I love the joy here and the fist bumps shared between Wesley and his dad as he started down the aisle with his new wife!

Lauren + John’s Bentwater Yacht Club Wedding on Lake Conroe

April is one of the few months of the year in the Houston region where we have beautiful greenery, and beautiful weather for outdoor weddings. This Bentwater Yacht Club wedding in the garden is a breath of fresh air! from the girls getting ready, to dancing the night away, everything went one hundred percent according to plan, thanks to some amazing vendors and this sweet venue.

Lauren’s bridals were shot here about a month before the wedding, it was such a calm, lovely day. After she had her hair and makeup trial, we met and photographed her in her wedding dress for the first time. Even if you don’t **need** 100 photos of you in your wedding dress, I think it helps brides to feel confident and takes some stress away that you might experience on your wedding day.

I love how bright and airy the yacht club is because of all the windows that face out towards the water!

Plenty of outdoor spaces as well with both green spaces and that view of the water.

One of my favorite places to photograph brides and grooms at Bentwater yacht club is on the dock at sunset. Such a special little lakefront venue!
