Built in steel and aluminium to Lloyd’s Register Classification and to a design by De Vries Lentsch, by Italian builder CBI Navi, AQUARIUS IV was delivered in 1995 and most recently refitted in 2019.

A luxurious interior featuring mahogany panelling and classic furnishings, is able to accommodate up to eight guests in four staterooms consisting of a master suite, a VIP suite and two twins, all with ensuite bathrooms. In addition she can accommodate up to five crew.

The large salon, filled with natural light thanks to large windows, has comfortable seating with sofa and a variety of chairs. Located forward on the main deck is the dining area for ten guests around a custom mahogany table.

Powered by twin Deutz 1,300hp diesel engines AQUARIUS IV is capable of a top speed of 15 knots and a cruising speed of 10 knots. In addition she is fitted with Koop Nautic underway stabilisers.

The 35 metre motor yacht Aquarius IV is newly listed for sale with Richard Gray of IYC .

Built in steel and aluminium by Italian yard CBI Navi to a design by De Vries Lentsch , she was delivered in 1995 and had a major refit in 2013.

A luxurious interior features mahogany panelling and antique furnishings. Accommodation is for eight guests in four cabins consisting of a full beam master suite, a VIP suite and two twins, all with entertainment centres and en suite bathrooms while the master and VIP suite also offer Sony television screens. In addition, there are quarters for up to seven crew in three forward cabins.

The large saloon has comfortable seating with sofas and a variety of chairs, alongside a dining area for ten guests around a custom mahogany table. A large-screen Sony entertainment centre is on hand to offer movie nights at sea.

Outdoor life aboard this 247GT yacht for sale is particularly enjoyable as she features a sheltered aft deck with all the amenities for al fresco dining, a broad swim platform, an outdoor cinema and diving equipment.

Twin 1,040hp Deutz MWM diesel engines give her a range of 5,200 nautical miles and she is fitted with Koop Nautic zero speed stabilisers to neutralise roll motion at sea and in port. Her maximum speed is 16 knots.

The  115’  (35m) custom-built  AQUARIUS IV  is a striking motor yacht with a distinctive  Willem de Vries Lentsch, Jr. exterior and interior design. Excellently maintained and regularly upgraded, the CBI Navi built boat  sleeps eight guests in four cabins, with additional accommodation for five crew.  

I n addition to a classic and warm interior, which is filled with natural light thanks to an abundance of windows, the yacht boasts large interior volume that creates plenty of space for guests to socialize and relax.  The interior design and naval architecture by prominent Dutch designer Willem De Vries Lentsch Jr. includes exterior teak decks and modern chrome finishes, while the master suite, VIP cabin and two twins feature Carrara marble ensuite bathrooms.

The steel-hulled with aluminum superstructure yacht cuts a prominent figure on water, with deck space forward and aft for guests. Tenders are neatly stored on the upper deck aft for fast deployment and secure storage for long passages. AQUARIUS IV is excellently maintained with regular upgrades, technical overhauls and maintenance refits carried out to keep the yacht in an enviable condition. 

Built to Lloyd’s Register Certification and cruising at a speed of 15 knots,  AQUARIUS IV enjoys a  large nautical mile range of 5,200 for ocean exploration.

What Is a DBMS? • A database is a collection of data. • Models real-world enterprise. • Entities (e.g., students, courses) • Relationships (e.g., Tom is taking CISC6325) • A Database Management System (DBMS)is a software package designed to store and manage databases.

Why we need DBMS • Huge amount of data is available. • Users need tools that simplify the tasks of managing the data and extracting useful information in a timely fashion. • Otherwise, data is stored in files and write application-specific code to manage it.

Files vs. DBMS • Drawbacks of Files • Application must stage large datasets between main memory and secondary storage. • Writing special code to identify all data items. • Writing special code for different queries – users’ questions about data • Must protect data from inconsistency due to multiple concurrent users • Crash recovery • Security and access control

Why Use a DBMS? • Data independence. • DBMS provides an abstract view of data and hides the details of data representation and storage. • Efficient data access. • Sophisticated techniques to store and retrieve data efficiently. • Data integrity and security. • Enforce integrity constraints. • Perform access controls.

Why Use a DBMS? • Uniform data administration. • Organizing the data representation to minimize redundancy. • Tuning the storage for efficient retrieval. • Concurrent access, recovery from crashes. • Users are not aware of others while accessing DBMS. • Protects users from the system failures. • Reduced application development time. • Well designed and tested functions and user interfaces.

Why Study Databases?? Shift from computation to information at the “low end”: scramble to webspace (a mess!) at the “high end”: scientific applications Datasets increasing in diversity and volume. Digital libraries, interactive video, Human Genome project, EOS project ... need for DBMS exploding DBMS encompasses most of CS OS, languages, theory, AI, multimedia, logic ?

Data Models • A data modelis a collection of concepts for describing data. • High-level data description that hide low-level storage details. • Example: the relational data model. • A semantic data model is a more abstract, high-level data model that makes it easier for users to describe data in an enterprise. • Example: the entity-relationship (ER) model ER model => The Relational Model => DBMS

The Relational Model • Aschemais a description of a particular collection of data in terms of a data model. • Main concept of the Relational Model : • A relation is a set of records. • Basically a table with rows and columns. • Every relation has a schema, which describes the columns, or fields. Students (sid:string, name:string, login:string, gpa:real)

Levels of Abstraction in a DBMS • Many views (external schema), single conceptual (logical) schemaand physical schema. • Views describe how users see the data. • Conceptual schema defines logical structure • Physical schema describes the files and indexes used. • A Data Definition Language (DDL) is used to define the external and conceptual schemas.

Example: University Database • Conceptual schema (logical schema) describes all relations that are stored in the database. • Entities • Students(sid: string, name: string, login: string, age: integer, gpa:real) • Courses(cid: string, cname:string, credits:integer) • Relationships • Enrolled(sid:string, cid:string, grade:string) • Conceptual database design

Example: University Database • Physical schema specifies additional storage details. • Relations stored as unordered files. • Index (auxiliary data structure to speed update retrieval operations) on first column or other column of relations. • Physical database design

Example: University Database • External Schema allows data access to be customized (and authorized) at the level of individual users or groups of users. • Each external schema contains a set of Views. • A view is conceptually a relation, which is not stored in the DBMS. • Example: Course_info (cid:string,enrollment:integer) • A DBMS has one conceptual schema, one physical schema and many external schema.

Data Independence * • Applications insulated from how data is structured and stored. • Logical data independence : By generating views, changes in logical structure of data (conceptual schema) is hidden. • Physical data independence : The conceptual schema insulates users from changes in physical structure of data. • One of the most important benefits of using a DBMS!

Queries in a DBMS • Questions involving the data stored in a DBMS are called Queries. • What is the name of the student with ID 123? • How many students are enrolled in CS6325? • A DBMS provides a specialized language, called the query language, in which queries can be posed. • A DBMS enables users to create, modify, and query data through a Data Manipulation Language (DML). • The query language is part of DML. • Schemas are defined using DDL; data is modified/queried using DML.

Concurrency Control • Concurrent execution of user programs is essential for good DBMS performance. • Because disk accesses are frequent, and relatively slow, it is important to keep the cpu humming by working on several user programs concurrently. • Interleaving actions of different user programs can lead to inconsistency: e.g., check is cleared while account balance is being computed. • DBMS ensures such problems don’t arise: users can pretend they are using a single-user system.

Transaction: An Execution of a DB Program • Key concept is transaction, which is an atomicsequence of database actions (reads/writes). • Each transaction, executed completely, must leave the DB in a consistent stateif DB is consistent when the transaction begins. • Users can specify some simple integrity constraintson the data, and the DBMS will enforce these constraints. • Beyond this, the DBMS does not really understand the semantics of the data. (e.g., it does not understand how the interest on a bank account is computed). • Thus, ensuring that a transaction (run alone) preserves consistency is ultimately the user’s responsibility!

Concurrent Execution of Transactions • It is important that a DBMS guarantees safe concurrent data access. • Multiple users could access data as if he is the only user. • DBMS ensures that execution of {T1, ... , Tn} is equivalent to some serial execution T1’ ... Tn’.

Scheduling Concurrent Transactions • A lock is a mechanism used to control access to database objects. • Before reading/writing an object, a transaction requests a lock on the object, and waits till the DBMS gives it the lock. All locks are released at the end of the transaction. (Strict 2PL locking protocol.) • Idea: If an action of Ti (say, writing X) affects Tj (which perhaps reads X), one of them, say Ti, will obtain the lock on X first and Tj is forced to wait until Ti completes; this effectively orders the transactions. • What if Tj already has a lock on Y and Ti later requests a lock on Y? (Deadlock!) Ti or Tj is abortedand restarted!

Ensuring Atomicity • DBMS ensures atomicity(all-or-nothing property) even if system crashes in the middle of a Xact. • Idea: Keep a log(history) of all actions carried out by the DBMS while executing a set of Xacts: • Before a change is made to the database, the corresponding log entry is forced to a safe location. (WAL protocol; OS support for this is often inadequate.) • After a crash, the effects of partially executed transactions are undone using the log. (Thanks to WAL, if log entry wasn’t saved before the crash, corresponding change was not applied to database!)

The Log • The following actions are recorded in the log: • Ti writes an object: The old the new value and value. • Log record must go to disk beforethe changed page! • Ti commits/aborts: A log record indicating this action. • Log records chained together by Xact id, so it’s easy to undo a specific Xact (e.g., to resolve a deadlock). • Log is often duplexed and archived on “stable” storage. • All log related activities (and in fact, all CC related activities such as lock/unlock, dealing with deadlocks etc.) are handled transparently by the DBMS.

Databases make these folks happy ... • End users and DBMS vendors • DB application programmers • E.g., smart webmasters • Database administrator (DBA) • Designs logical /physical schemas • Handles security and authorization • Data availability, crash recovery • Database tuning as needs evolve Must understand how a DBMS works!

Bratsk and Ust-Orda are accessible via the Baikal-Amur Mainline from the Trans-Siberian Railway junction at Taishet.

  • Generators heat exchangers had been checked and cleaned.
  • New 4 heaters of the boiler were replaced.
  • A maintenance was carried out to the bilge pump in engine room.
  • EVAC pump (Hammann System) has been overhauled.
  • New cushions have been installed on the bow.
  • Internal wall lights frame have been renewed with new leather

The 92m/301'10" motor yacht 'Aquarius' by the Dutch shipyard Feadship offers flexible accommodation for up to 12 guests in 7 cabins and features interior styling by Dutch designer Sinot Yacht Design.

Built in 2016, Aquarius is custom-built for world-class luxury yacht chartering, offering a wealth of spacious living areas and fabulous amenities, you'll be in for a treat from the moment you step on board. She has sensational features such as a beauty salon, spa, elevator, underwater lights, beach club and gym.

Guest Accommodation

Aquarius offers guest accommodation for up to 12 guests in 7 suites comprising a master suite and six VIP cabins. The master suite features extensive storage space provided by the dressing room benefits from a his and her bathroom. Additionally, there is a staff cabin on board. A crew of thirty-one, who specialize in creating exceptional charters, are on hand to provide guests with a yacht charter vacation to remember.

Onboard Comfort & Entertainment

Keeping comfortable and entertained on Aquarius is easy thanks to the available amenities, particularly a state-of-the-art movie theatre for movie nights. Aquarius is home to a beauty salon, where guests can enjoy a number of beauty treatments or take the opportunity to be thoroughly pampered and indulged in the spa. Take a plunge in the pool under the sun or elsewhere, make your day truly exceptional at the beach club. A gym with all the latest equipment is available for a good work out plus sit back with a glass of champagne in the deck jacuzzi.

Aquarius benefits from some excellent features to improve your charter, particularly an elevator, making any part of the yacht quickly and easily accessible. Stay connected to the outside world on long voyages with satellite communications or soak up the atmosphere after dark with dramatic underwater lights. Take advantage of the on board Wi-Fi and stay connected at all times or elsewhere, you can stay comfortable on board whatever the weather, with air conditioning during your charter.

Performance & Range

Built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, she offers greater on-board space and is more stable when at anchor thanks to her full-displacement hull. Powered by twin MTU engines, she comfortably cruises at 12 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 17 knots with a range of up to 5,500 nautical miles from her 275,800 litre fuel tanks at cruising speed. An advanced stabilisation system on board reduces the side-to-side roll of the yacht and promises guests exceptional comfort levels at anchor or when underway.

When not cruising Aquarius has onboard an incredible selection of water toys and accessories for you and your guests to connect with the waters around you. Principle among these are waterslides for hours of fun for all ages. Take to the sea on the Jet Skis offering you power and control on the water. Another excellent feature are towable toys offering fun and adventure. If that isn't enough Aquarius also features waterskis, kayaks and snorkelling equipment.
