The 43 M sailing yacht ‘Cavallo’ is enjoying yet another cruise in the glorious Whitsunday region. Once again availing ourselves of the excellent facilities at Coral Sea in the bustling township of Airlie Beach to do our preparations it took no time convincing us to cruise the area again, this time utilsing some of the new designated anchorages that have recently become available to larger yachts. As we typically draw more water than other smaller yachts we find we are no hinderance to them and they usually give us a wave before going in closer to anchor. The anchorages are well spaced around the compass points to provide options for all wind and swell directions. We now have better access the many walking trails and the famous pristine beaches that the Whitsundays have to offer. I’m a long time convert to the cruising possibilities here and this now makes the experience far more feasible and more complete! I’m sure other yachts like ours will follow.

Our Motor Yacht Vegas cruises the Whitsundays and surrounding Great Barrier Reef extensively for 4 months of the year. Every year. We are in the region around Late July early August and do not leave until early December. We have cruised extensively throughout Australia and the South Pacific Islands all the way to Tahiti. We use many marina facilities throughout our travels. Whether it be long term or casual berthing, provisioning or overnight stays. There is no equal to the reception you get on arrival at Coral Sea Marina. It is not just the pleasant, well-educated staff. Or the effort they go to from the time they take your call on the phone to make a booking to your arrival at the dock. It is the culture instilled in everyone involved at Coral Sea Marina. Paul has built by far the best superyacht destination in Australia. It does not stop there. Paul and his highly motivated team ensure your stay is as stress free as humanly possible. They go out of their way to ensure this happens. The marina provides courtesy cars. They provide Helicopter transfers between the mainland and the airport on nearby Hamilton Island. Paul himself is Yacht owner and this reflects in the service he provides to other yacht owners from the many years he has cruised the waters in and around Australia. You cannot provide a better service unless you have experienced what other marinas offer. Coral Sea Marina has not been built on chance. Paul has designed the Marina around how he lives. You treat others how you would like to be treated yourself. He has staked his reputation on it. And all this reflects on the outstanding staff he employs and the destination Coral Sea Marina is. The facilities and infrastructure of Coral Sea Marina and the ongoing development of services the marina provides for all yacht uses in the Whitsundays, is second to none. Without question, every year since Paul and his talented team of individuals took over Coral Sea Marina, we get excited heading back there.

Sailing the Whitsunday islands has to be one of the highlights of sailing in Australia. Coral Sea Marina is conveniently located close to the best sailing areas of the Whitsundays but also in a very protected spot which offers great protection from strong south easterly trades. We’ve all been impressed by the extremely helpful and friendly support we have received whilst visiting and look forward to coming back again in the future.

The Whitsundays

Glowing with beach-glamour and dripping in first-class hideaways, the group of islands known as the Whitsundays are both indulgently luxurious and stunningly beautiful.

Made up of 74 picture-perfect islands and bordered by the Great Barrier Reef, their brilliant seas and underwater delights are hard to resist.

Located just off the east coast of Queensland, Australia’s sunshine state, the Whitsunday Islands lie amongst the Coral Sea; rightly earning their place among the South Pacific’s most majestic island groups. National parks, coral cays and sublime beaches make up the majority of the landscape while wilderness retreats and hedonistic spas also have their place.

The Whitsundays are widely regarded as one of the true yachting pleasure grounds of the world with smooth waters, spectacular reefs and balmy rainforests that are just as amazing to gaze upon as they are to explore. Paired with superb deep water anchorages and five-star resorts, there is no surprise as to why this region continues to attract the yachting elite.

The region is excellent for both crewed and bareboat charters with its easy navigation, close proximity of the islands and a first-class combination of untouched natural sights and modern indulgences. Most yacht charters will often start at Hamilton Island where guests can fly in, or the small but lively boho town of Airlie Beach known as the gateway to the Whitsundays.

Both Airlie Beach and Hamilton Island boast world-class superyacht infrastructure and luxury amenities to act as a base for exploring the region. Coral Sea Marina Resort in Airlie Beach is a state-of-the-art superyacht marina driven by an owner with a strong passion and vision for the superyacht industry. Hamilton Island Marina places superyachts in the centre of the Whitsundays cruising grounds, and is very much a destination within a destination with an array of bars, restaurants throughout a phenomenal luxury resort.

Luxury Island Resorts

The Whitsundays are truly blessed with immersive luxury experience which take superyacht charters in the region to the next level. Only eight of the islands are inhabited, with the most popular being the exclusive Hayman, the water-sports mecca of Hamilton Island and the appropriately named family favourite Daydream Island. For something a little more off-beat, sail down the Cumberland Channel to visit the lesser-known islands of Goldsmith and Tinsmith in the Sir James Smith Group.

Hamilton Island is the largest of the islands and is easily accessible for superyachts due to its fantastic marina facilities. The Qualia Resort on Hamilton Island is one of Australia’s esteemed Luxury Lodges, and is in itself a reason to visit the Whitsundays. Hamilton Island is a hive of water-based activities and opulent spas, and even has its own golf course for those keen to play a round in this paradisiacal setting. This is a favoured destination for superyachts in the region, and is often a reason why guests tend to either extend their stay or find themselves returning promptly.

In Airlie Beach, Coral Sea Marina is also linked to its own luxury resort by the same name, which it merged with in 2019 to complete an all-encompassing offering for visiting yachts. Coral Sea Resort has benefitted from significant investment to provide an enticing array of indulgent facilities, backed by outstanding hospitality and a passionate team. Airlie Beach town itself is a vibrant base filled with an eclectic mix of bars, restaurants and shops, perfect or both short of long stays.

Beaches and Diving

Diving, snorkelling, whale watching, and fishing are all there to be enjoyed in the Whitsunday Islands and it’s not uncommon to come face-to-face with turtles, sea eagles and ospreys during your journey. The soft white-sand beaches are another of the region’s biggest draw cards; perhaps the most breath-taking sandy stretch is Whitehaven Beach, coined “Heaven on Earth” by locals.

One of the most famous dive and snorkel sites in the Whitsundays is Heart Reef. This stunning coral has been aptly named after its natural formation into a heart shape, and sits in its own mesmerising reef lagoon. Throughout the Whitsundays, there are opportunities for divers and snorkelers of all levels to enjoy the wonders and colours of the reef. Gary’s Lagoon and Manta Ray Bay are both exceptional novice dive sites with abundant coral, while sites such as the Stepping Stones offer more advanced diving opportunities. Found in Bait Reef, the Stepping Stones are a unique diving experience made up of 18 flat-topped coral pinnacles lined up in a row, each rising from a depth of 15-25 metres up to one metre below the surface.

Sail To Your Soul Island

The Whitsundays are popular for impressive snorkelling and diving with abundant marine life, exceptional coral creations and unique landscapes. The Whitsundays are located on the southern part of the Great Barrier Reef National Park, in Queensland, Australia. Named by Captain Cook, the group of 74 islands were discovered in 1700 on the second Sunday of Easter. Nowadays, only 8 of them are inhabited with resorts and the Whitsundays represent the largest group of offshore islands in Australia. Although tropical, the islands are remnants of ancient volcanic mountains and stand proudly out of an azure sea encircled by reef and golden beaches. Nothing moves too fast in the Whitsunday Island. Each relaxing day here is like the perfect Sunday filled with bright skies, blue water and soft breezes. Walk on the world-famous Whitehaven Beach, discover Aboriginal art in Nara Inlet, shop on vibrant Hamilton Island or enjoy the solitude of Butterfly Bay, the Whitsunday Islands will not disappoint. With an array of activities offered in absolutely unique surroundings, the area offers some of the best cruising experiences. Commercial and private flights directly into the Whitsundays’ Hamilton Island allow guests to be immersed in the contrasting white and turquoise colour pallet even before boarding a superyacht.

The ideal weather in the Whitsundays is achieved by low rainfall and average temperatures below 30 degrees Celsius. May to September represent the peak season for charter guests, with the first month of the Australian “Winter” starting in June. The sea temperature is approximately 23 degrees and the average wind speed is 8 knots. There are approximately 11 hours of sunlight per day. The wet season in Queensland runs from November to April: when the heavens frequently open releasing warm tropical rain, and the days and nights are warmer. It is also a popular time to cruise the Whitsundays and spend Christmas and New Year’s Eve in exceptional surroundings.

As the only living thing visible from space, the view from a helicopter is spectacular but nothing compares to the view from below. A kaleidoscope of tropical colours which move and shimmer as the waves gently sway, the fish dart in and out of the coral and the sun refracts through the warm shallow waters. Never has one charter location brought some much colour to your life. The Whitsundays, and the Great Barrier Reef, is one of the most pristine dive destinations in the world – with spectacular coral formations, hundreds of species of fish, turtles, manta rays and even visiting dolphins and whales (commonly seen swimming past superyachts, especially during migration season in August – September). At several highly pristine sites, divers will descend amongst an abundance of friendly marine life including the magnificent large Hump Headed Maori Wrasse which can be hand-fed, or the resident Bat Fish.

A rich cultural heritage

Known as Ngaro country, the Whitsundays reflect aboriginal presence throughout its territories. Archaeological research points to 8000 years of Aboriginal habitation in this area, most recently by the Ngaro people who ranged far and wide through the high country around Proserpine and travelled from island to island in bark canoes.

The Whitsunday Islands were originally formed by volcanic action. However, after the last glacial period the sea level rose, leaving the higher coastal peaks as islands. In 1770, the Cumberland Islands were discovered by Lieutenant James Cook. Later, the archipelago was divided into smaller groups – the Whitsunday Group, the Lindeman Group, the Anchor Islands and the Sir James Smith Group.

DAY ONE (Hamilton Island)

Guests can fly in to the gorgeous airport located on Hamilton Island, transferred from Brisbane’s International Airport (1.5hour flight), Sydney or Melbourne, or directly with a private jet charter. Abell Point Marina is another great boarding location, located within 40 km of Proserpine’s landing strip. Board in Hamilton Island Marina after your Crew welcomes you with the traditional island buggy or air-conditioned vehicle. Hamilton Island is the largest inhabited island of the Whitsundays, although it only spans over 5km2. While the guests settle down and take in their relaxing surroundings, a lunch or dinner at the stunning Hamilton Island Yacht Club is a great start to the experience, followed by a short walk around the island. Depending on the party, a stunning private table or massage moment can be arranged at the adult-only Qualia Resort.

The option is also there for you to cruise around to Perseverance Reef or Dent Island (home of one of Australia’s most prestigious gold courses): a first swim and snorkel in the heavenly blue ocean, followed by sunset canapes in a sheltered bay.

Day TWO (Hamilton Island > Neck Bay [11nm])

Located in the Lindeman Group, Neck Bay is a Captain’s favourite and likely your first secluded experience of the Whitsundays. Fantastic snorkelling is renowned along the coast, tucked between Shaw and Lindeman Island. What could you see? The Whitsunday is home to 1,500 species of fish, 360 species of hard coral, one-third of the world’s soft corals, 7,000 species of molluscs, 500 species of marine algae, 600 species of echinoderm (eg. Starfish), 22 species of sea birds, 13,000 dugongs, 6 species of marine turtles (all listed as threatened), 30 species of cetaceans (eg. whales and dolphins). When you step out of the warm ocean water, take a walk across the bay and the “neck” from west to east, sprawl on a secluded beach covered by unusual polished shells and coral varieties. After a beach barbecue and natural sand body massages, We will be spending the night at anchor sheltered here in Neck Bay.

Day THREE (The Narrows and Cid Island [25nm])

Waking up to admire a tropical sunrise, we will make our way West towards Long Island. An exclusive passage, cruising the Long Island Sound will immerse you in lush bushland descending into the ocean and creating the perfect colour palette.

Continue onto Cid Island, where kayaking through the mangrove is a popular activity in the afternoon. Katoomba Bank, on the North of the island, sets the scene for some jaw-dropping sunsets, before we drop anchor in front of Hill Rock Reef or Cid Harbour for a quiet evening and overnight.

Day FOUR (Whitsunday and Hook Island [10nm])

Start your day with a fitness kick, walking up the trail to the Whitsunday Peak. The hike is approximately 1.5 hour to the peak before soaking in the spectacular 360-degree views over Cid Harbour. Heading back on board, watersports enthusiasts can enjoy an afternoon of fun along the west coast of Whitsunday Island where jetskis and other motorised watercraft are authorised. We then cruise onto Hook Island for our next overnight shelter. Separated from Whitsunday Island by a narrow, deep passage, Hook Island combines a “wilderness” styled resort with soul-refreshing forest walks, pure blue waters and white silica beaches. The faint Aboriginal rock art at Nara Inlet, created by the original Ngaro people, draws you back in time and through years of history of the original Owners of the land. Nara Inlet also features a stunning 30minute walk leading to breathtaking views.

Day FIVE (Hayman Island and the Outer Reef [45nm])

Get ready for an out-of-this-world experience today! We depart Hook Island towards Langford Island or Blue Pearl Bay on Hayman Island. The western area of Langford Island reveals a sandbank which appears at low tide, and is a great spot for a beach barbecue. The popular red helicopters also love this landing spot, taking you to the air for a preview of your Great Barrier Reef experience. Blue Pearl Bay, on the other hand, will offer some of the best swimming and snorkelling surrounded by rich coral life. After lunch, we head back towards Hook Island to explore the Northern tip: Butterfly Bay’s underwater world is covered in coral outcrops and rubble with shallow walls, and populated by many small colourful reef fish species. Depending on the general feeling on board, the option is to make our way towards the Outer Reef for our first night in the wide-open ocean. Rendezvous diving is organised for the next morning, or your dive guide will be recounting his reef stories over dinner that night. 30nm (approximately 3 hours) will take us to Hardy Reef just before the night falls, where we will safely anchor.

Day SIX (Hardy Reef and Hook Reef)

These are pretty unusual views to have breakfast around! Time to go diving and discover what the Australian outer reef is all about. There is spectacular fish life with Trevally, Coral Trout, Snapper and a host of smaller marine life as well as Giant Maori Wrasse and a two-metre-long Giant Queensland Groper that usually congregate for a free feed. Snorkelling is excellent, as is diving off nearby drop-offs where you’ll find turtles, reef sharks and barracuda amongst a myriad of other intriguing reef species.

If air is more your element, take off on a helicopter or seaplane tour which will reveal the world-famous and most photographed Heart Reef. Experience the vertical waterfalls with our tenders, which appear when the tide lowers by 2 to 3 meters. Our second night on the reef should allow for a fun themed dinner organised by the crew on board, for you to rewind the day and maybe watch a slideshow of all the wonderful photos. If some of the guests are lucky, trawling on the way from Hook Reef resulted in freshly cooked fish!

DAY SEVEN & EIGHT (Dumbell Island > Whitehaven Beach > Hamilton Island [40nm])

It is time to make our way back to civilisation. We will first reach Dumbell Island, populated by a wide diversity of birds including sea eagles who can be fed off the aft deck. 6nm South appears the first signs that the world-famous Whitehaven is approaching. Before reaching this unique and south-after sight, take a hike up Hill Inlet and indulge in the astonishing views: the inlet below you is a striking mix of aqua and white swirls as the island’s famed sands shift through the waters, creating beautiful patterns. Your yacht will anchor, and let you experience the silica sand with its tenders. The fine sand particles are great for polishing jewellery! Whitehaven Beach One of the most photographed beaches in the world – Whitehaven Beach is the ultimate destination with it’s silica white sands and stunning turquoise waters. Enjoy a day swimming, relaxing, or hiking at Whitehaven Beach.

Wine & Dine The luxury yachts on-board chef will be creating culinary delights matched with high quality wines, champagne, spirits, beer and exotic cocktails to tantalise even the most well-developed palate for the entire voyage. The chief steward will attend to the cocktails and beverages of choice.  

Whitsunday Island Tours      Guests have the option of joining in on island walks and hikes to places of interest for both visual beauty, historical interest or just for exercise and fun.

Hook Island   After a delicious breakfast your group may enjoy a hike along the 5km trail to Whitsunday Peak and take in the glorious views from the top. Hook Island offers visitors vibrant waters for snorkelling and more often than not guests will interact with turtles, dolphins, manta rays and during the months of July to August the humpback whales put on a breaching display.

On all our YOTSPACE Whitsunday luxury yacht charter voyages the Captains and crew source as much fresh produce locally to support the people and places we are fortunate enought to visit. This ensures your food is less travelled and their is less wastage on your superyacht charters. All of our Captains are environmentally conscious of their yachting impacts and maintain structured policies to ensure they leave their destinations with what they came with.

Comprehensive Breakfast served daily with Eggs, Omelettes, Bacon, Sausages, Mushrooms and Hashbrowns and selections of Bread, Muesli and Granola, Juices, Preserves and Yoghurt. Instead of a Buffet style breakfast they can serve one Signature Breakfast dish, changing daily as outlined in suggested menu.

The yacht crew do their very best to accommodate all dietary requirements with advance notice. The below is a sample menu only.

Travel Insurance

We highly recommend you secure comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking your YOTSPACE superyacht charter. This can be arranged through your luxury travel agent or a travel insurance company of your choice.  On purchasing this Travel Offer you are bound by the General Terms and Conditions, in addition to the specific terms and conditions outlined in this Important Information. Please ensure to read full Terms and Conditions .

Yacht Charter Departure:  This is a sole charter YOTSPACE superyacht voyage. Each luxury yacht charter voyage is a departure based on the receipt of the full payment on or before the eighth week of embarkation. Should the yacht fail to depart voyagers will be given the option of choosing another luxury yacht option with similar or same inclusions, costs and terms and conditions of the superyacht that was originally requested. Should we not find a suitable replacement yacht a refund less any bank merchant fees and a 10% administration fee will apply. We always recommend Travel Insurance and that all ancillary travel reservations have flexible conditions.

Payment Policy To secure a luxury yacht charter voyage with YOTSPACE, a 50% deposit or full payment is required within forty-eight (48) hours of receiving confirmation of Your booking request.  Full payment is required on or before sixty (60) calendar days (8 weeks) before the Voyage Departure date. If the departure date is inside the sixty (60) calendar days (8 weeks), full payment must be paid at the time of booking.  As mentioned above, due to potential operational, Government directives, weather issues or other disasters out of our control we cannot guarantee that all voyages will depart.  Your YOTSPACE superyacht agent will notify You in the event the luxury yacht charter is cancelled.

Guest Cancellations Cancellation requests must be made in writing.  You are strongly advised to speak with your YOTSPACE crew member with regard to the purchase of specific travel insurance for the luxury yacht charter at the time of booking.  Cancellation requests received sixty (60) days or less prior to voyage departure – forfeiture of 50% deposit – Should we re-sell that reserved voyage, for that departure, for that date, prior to the Superyacht charter departure, an administration fee equal to only 10% of the voyage shall apply along with any bank or merchant transfer fees.  Cancellation within Thirty (30) days or less -100% of full Charter Fare to be forfeited.  Failure to board at the time of the luxury charter yacht voyage departure – 100% of the total Voyage Fare forfeited to the Contractor YOTSPACE.  Note: Please refer to each individual private charter agreement prior to confirming your yacht charter agreement as these cancellations conditions may alter on some occassions such as peak season or special events.

Covid/ Pandemic Policy Should a pandemic or an outbreak occur and disrupt travel plans in the destination of departure or a ruling government prevent travel, all paid bookings will be held for future travel when permitted and subject to availability.  Guests may be moved to another luxury yacht charter with similar or the same terms and conditions of the deferred voyage at no charge. Guests may also have the option of a refund of monies paid less any bank merchant fees and a 10% administration fee subject to the terms and conditions of the individual yacht charter agreement. Please consult your YOTSPACE superyacht crew member and update your travel insurance policy for the change of voyage date and change of yacht.

Provisioning Policy: Should the superyacht charter voyage be cancelled last minute and the superyacht has already been supplied with the advanced provisioning of fresh food, supplies and beverages, the cost of the provisioning will be applied to your charter cost fees and no refund applies.

Whitsundays Superyacht Charter – Sample Itinerary

All of our YOTSPACE superyacht voyage itineraries are specifically curated with the charter guests requests in mind. Our luxury superyachts will endeavour to follow the voyage as described in each custom itinerary and the passenger accepts that each superyacht Captain has the right to change the itinerary, the yacht, or cancel the cruise as a result of some Unexpected Event or prevailing inclement weather conditions. The passenger accepts that the passenger will not be entitled to any compensation or a refund of the fare paid should this occur. The Whitsundays luxury yacht charter itinerary is an example only. Cruise itineraries are subject to weather conditions and the Captains discretion.

Child Policy

All YOTSPACE sole charter superyacht voyages are intended for both adults and children who are travelling with family dependant on the region of the voyage. Children under the age of eighteen(18) (minors) will be accepted in circumstances where the charter is a sole charter voyage and cruising in a safe region. Parents and guardians are to take full responsibility for the children at all times. This must be agreed directly with the Contractor.

Covid – 19 Policy

YOTSPACE and our superyacht captains take the safety and wellbeing of passengers very seriously. The superyacht follows on-board sanitisation protocols to ensure the vessel is highly sanitised at all times. All guests are to register their principle place of residence and disclose to the company (YOTSPACE) if they have recently visited a Covid-19 hotspot in the 3 weeks prior to departure. We will require passengers to visit their GP and provide a health report 72 hours prior to departure. Climate & Average Temperatures

The Whitsundays enjoy a sunny climate with mild winters and warm summers, perfect for making the most of the outdoors. Plan ahead with this information on temperature and rainfall.

Summer (December – February)   During the height of summer temperatures can be up to 29 to 30 degrees Celsius (86 degrees Fahrenheit) Water.

Winter (June – August)   Average daily temperatures range from around 22 to 23 degrees Celsius (73.4 degrees Fahrenheit) in the winter months of June and July. Keep your eyes peeled for the annual Humpback Whale migration in the Whitsundays.

The other months remain a welcoming 25 degrees

Gratuities / Tipping

Gratuities (tips) are not included in the superyacht voyage price for services of the crew throughout the cruise. Tipping is optional and at the passengers discretion. In the superyacht industry it is normally the practice on sole charters that the prime guest gives a cash tip to the Captain and crew. However tipping the crew is entirely up to yourself. If you feel you have been extremely well looked after then we are sure the crew would really appreciate the tip. You may do this of your own accord or with your other guests on the superyacht voyage.

Full day by day itinerary.

Day 1 Airlie Beach – Stonehaven Anchorage

Fly over the magnificent Whitsunday Archipelago and land at beautiful Airlie Beach. We can organise transfers from the airport to our berth at Coral Sea Marina where Captain Sam and his crew eagerly await to whisk you away on your luxury yachting holiday. Welcomed on board with champagne, canapés and cold towels – make yourself at home as we don’t waste time tied to a wharf and head straight for our anchorage. 

Stonehaven Anchorage is a picturesque location on the North-Western Side of Hook Island and a great location to start the trip. We will arrive mid-afternoon/early evening. Once settled at anchor, drinks and canapés on the top deck watching the stunning sunsets that occur at Stonehaven. In the galley the first of many meals is being lovingly crafted especially for you so join us on the aft deck for the culinary journey to begin. The only thing better than the food is the view.

Day 2 Stonehaven – Blue Pearl Bay

After waking up in this glorious place, you can start the day right with a quick dip and a hearty breakfast prepared by your personal chef. A morning paddleboard or kayak over the fringing reefs is also a popular start to the day. We will move from Stonehaven to Blue Pearl Bay after breakfast and set up the FunAir slide.

After water activities and lunch we have the option to go for a snorkel or check out “The Gap” for a photo opportunity followed by a sunset stroll through Tuna Alley with a beer in hand. A cheeseboard and drinks on the coral beach is an option too, (just bring some beach shoes). We will remain here for the night before an early morning departure to Butterfly Bay.

Day 3 Blue Pearl Bay – Butterfly Bay /Mantra Ray Bay

We are on the move again, not to worry it’s only a short 20 minute cruise around to Butterfly Bay. Butterfly Bay is one of the few Great Barrier Reef Marine Parks Green Zones. Green Zone areas are the highest level of protection throughout the Great Barrier Reef, which means an abundance of Marine Life. We will once again be immersing ourselves in a day of activities on the water.

After lunch we highly recommend a short tender ride to Manta Ray Bay for one of Captain Sam’s favourite snorkelling destinations in the Whitsundays. We will remain here for the night and can enjoy watching the marine life do its natural thing by night through the underwater lights, whilst enjoying an interactive BBQ on the aft deck with the chef.

Day 4 Butterfly Bay – Whitehaven Beach

It’s unfortunately our last morning onboard before we make our way back to Coral Sea Marina, Airlie Beach.  We will aim to drop our mooring at 5am and get underway for an approx. 1.5hr journey to one of the most photographed beaches in the world – Whitehaven. Once settled on anchor, feel free to take a swim in the pristine clear blue waters of Whitehaven Beach. Breakfast will be served, and you can soak up the last of this beautiful view before we motor back to Coral Sea Marina.

Guests can board our 33.2mt superyacht from Hamilton Island and join our crew for an intinerary that will take you to see some of the prettiest sights within the Whitsundays . 

Should you wish to partake in an extended dive and snorkel tour on the northern sections of the Great Barrier Reef to see the most amazing of reefs we can depart from Cairns or Port Douglas and show you world re-known dive sites in Far North Queensland.

Other regions we love to showcase to our charter guests are Seventeen Seventy , Bundaberg , and Townsville .     

Our superyachts 5 staterooms accommodate up to 10-12 guests in absolute comfort supported by a four fin stabilzer and a zero speed gyroscope stablizer system that is designed to minimize boat roll.

She is fitted with a state of the art entertainment system and has plenty of water toys to keep everyone entertained. 

For scuba divers we have a compressor onboard and 6 complete sets of dive gear and dive computers for each diver - please note addtional fees apply for scuba diving, and must be advised at time of booking charter.

Hamilton Island – Perseverance Reef – Dent Island

Arrive at Hamilton Island via air transfer from Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne, or by boat from Coral Sea Marina and board the superyacht at Hamilton Island Marina. Hamilton is the largest island in the Whitsunday’s. Meet the crew, tour the yacht and enjoy lunch on-board. Late afternoon cruise around to Perseverance Reef or Dent Island, with great swimming and snorkelling in clear water.

Secluded and quiet, Neck Bay is a favourite Whitsunday’s hangout among yachtsmen, with fantastic snorkelling. Spot many of the islands’ 1,500 species of fish, 360 species of hard coral, thousands of molluscs and hundreds of Starfish. The Whitsunday’s is also home to over 30% of the world’s soft corals. Marine turtles, whales and dolphins also swim these waters. It’s time to take out the superyacht toys, kayak, stand-up paddle boards.

CID ISLAND – Molle Islands

Continue to Cid Island. You’ll be welcomed by bays, beaches and calm waters protected from the breeze. Spend the afternoon kayaking through the mangroves. For the ultimate Whitsundays sunset, we head to Katoomba Bank or the west coast overlooking the Molle Islands.

Relax on the superyacht and enjoy the state of the art entertainment system and high speed internet or play in the aqua blue waters on the water sports equipment

Drop anchor in front of Hill Rock Reef or Cid Harbour for evening and overnight.  Enjoy world class cuisine and enjoy the company of fellow travellers

HAYMAN ISLAND – Blue Pearl Bay – Hook Island

Depart Hook Island towards Blue Pearl Bay on Hayman Island to explore underwater and experience some of the Whitsunday’s richest coral life. Alternatively, spend the morning on the sandbank on the west coast of Langford Island, where the crew will prepare a beach barbecue. Spend the afternoon snorkelling in Butterfly Bay on the Northern tip of Hook Island, exploring coral outcrops teeming with small colourful reef fish.

Later, depart for the outer reef. Dine with a specialist dive guide brought on-board for tomorrow’s rendezvous diving session. Overnight at Hardy reef.

HARDY REEF 

Today, discover Australia’s outer reef. Your dive guide will show you nearby drop-offs where you’ll find turtles, reef sharks and barracuda. Snorkelling is excellent, with Trevally, Coral Trout, Snapper, Giant Maori Wrasse and Giant Queensland Groper two metres long. Take the yacht’s tenders to experience vertical waterfalls when the tide lowers 2-3 metres. Dine on-board on freshly caught seafood with stunning views.

Optional Extras: See the reefs by helicopter, including the world famous Heart Reef.

WHITEHAVEN BEACH – Dumbell Island – Hamilton Island

Start the day in Dumbell Island, where you can feed sea eagles off the aft deck. Hike up Hill Inlet to take in some of the best views in the world, a swirl of aqua and white as sands shift through waters. Award winning Whitehaven beach , the postcard view of the Whitsunday’s, is awe inspiring, with brilliant white silica sand that is among the purest in the world and remains cool, so you can walk its full 7km stretch.

Scuba Diving Restrictions

• Certain medical conditions and medications may preclude some people from scuba diving.
• Participation is subject to a medical questionnaire completed on board with the tour operator
• Minimum age for scuba diving is 12 years.
• Flying after scuba diving: a wait of 12 hours is recommended after one dive, 18 hour after 2 dives and at least 24 hours after multiple dives, before ascending to an altitude of 300 metres or greater.
