Hailing from the The Feadship Royal Van Lent Shipyard ship building company in the Netherlands the VAVA is 47 m 155 (foot) in length. Launched by 1996 this boat’s interior decoration illustrates the yachting ideals in the designing of Robert De Nijs. Superyacht VAVA is able to accommodate up to 12 passengers with 11 qualified crew. Her former names or project names were 773. She will attain a high speed of 16 knots.
The New Build & Naval Architecture relating to Luxury Yacht VAVA
De Voogt Naval Architects was the naval architect involved in the technical nautical composition for VAVA. Also the company De Voogt Naval Architects expertly worked on this venture. Interior designer Robert De Nijs was employed for the internal interior ambience. Created at The Feadship Royal Van Lent Shipyard this yacht was built in the yacht producing country of the Netherlands. She was officially launched in Kaag in 1996 before being transferred to the owner. A fairly large feeling is manifested with a total beam (width) of 8.69 m / 28.5 ft. With a 2.68m (8.8ft) draught (maximum depth) she is reasonably shallow. The material steel was used in the building of the hull of the motor yacht. Her superstructure over the hull is created with the use of aluminium. In 2005 further refit work and updating was in addition finished.

The 3512 DITA engine powering the yacht is made by CATERPILLAR. Her propulsion units are twin screw propellers. The engine of the ship creates 1200 horse power (or 883 kilowatts). She is equiped with 2 engines. The combined power for the boat is thus 2400 HP or 1766 KW. As for stabalisers she was built with Vosper.

VAVA II yacht interior
The interior of the VAVA II was designed by Rémi Tessier, a designer who favours simplicity and functionality.
Inside the yacht you can find a beauty salon, a gym, a beach club, an elevator, and to top it all off – air conditioning.
Not much is known about her interior, having mostly been seen by those fortunate enough to visit VAVA II.
There are not many pictures available, but if it’s anything like the gorgeous exterior, it’s surely a sight to behold.
Specifications
VAVA II yacht is 96 meters long (315 ft), has a beam of 17,3 meters (56,9 ft), and a 4,8 meter (15,9 ft) draft. She can reach a top speed of 19 knots, and a cruising speed of 15 knots.
The twin diesel MTU (16V 4000 M70) 2,333hp engines that power her, make it possible for her to reach those 19 knots.
She has a reach of more than 4500 nautical miles, and anchor stabilizers make VAVA II comfortable to be on. She has the capacity to keep up to 36 guests, and up to 34 crew.
The Vava II yacht has a steel hull and aluminum superstructure, and the exterior is designed by Redman Whiteley Dixon. She has four large tender garage aft and a pool with varying depth levels.
There are a total of six decks and is built like a small ship. A helicopter landing pad is also one of the many features of this yacht.
Her mostly white exterior shows off all the details in her designs, along with the sleek lines and impressive size.
Inspired by naval design, she has smooth curves and decks stacked neatly, with an overall balanced look.

Sailing in Tonga - Vava'u
A yacht charter in Tonga offers some of the easiest and best sailing in the South Pacific. Southeast trade winds are between 15 and 25 knots, may through September and the northeast trade winds are between 10 and 20 knots through the summer. Humpback whales
The waters near Tonga, especially in the outer islands around Vava'u, is home to one of the sea's most breathtaking creatures, the humpback whale. The whales grow to a length of 15 meters, and on a diet of krill, plankton and small fish, they are huge animals up to a weight of over 45 tonnes. The whales are known for their musical song and arrive in Tonga from Antarctica from the beginning of July - to give birth and raise their young. They stay till November when they return to colder waters. According to scientific studies, the population at Vava'u made up of approximately 450 animals, so it's usually not hard to get them to see. Eco-tour organizers offer snorkelling trips out to the islands as Foeata and Hunga where people can get close enough to swim with the peaceful struggle - an inspiring, fascinating and unforgettable experience.
