The 28m/91'10" motor yacht 'Sunseeker 28 m' was built by Sunseeker in the United Kingdom at their Poole, Dorset shipyard. Her interior is styled by British designer design house Sunseeker and she was completed in 2013. This luxury vessel's exterior design is the work of Sunseeker and she was last refitted in 2016.

Range & Performance

Built with a fiberglass hull and GRP superstructure, with teak decks, she has impressive speed and great efficiency thanks to her planing hull. Powered by twin diesel MTU (12V 2000 M94) 12-cylinder 1,950hp engines, she comfortably cruises at 23 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 29 knots.

The Johnson 93 is a Bill Dixon design that appears as a mini-superyacht with a compact size of 28m.

Thanks to her dual-level vertical window design, the Johnson 93 looks like mini-superyacht and offers a master suite with a 270-degree view over the ocean.

“This series of yacht came about as a wide-beam design with an on-deck master,” says Bill Dixon of Dixon Yacht Design . “She’s got that owner’s cabin with the wraparound glass, a big leisure space with wide side decks and a good-sized flybridge with a solid hardtop, and good crew’s quarters. We designed the structure of the Johnson 93 to accommodate customization and provided Johnson Yachts with the engineering and several layouts, but we sometimes consult on additional accommodation plans.”

Alongside the spacious master suite, the yacht accommodates a full-beam VIP suite and two guest cabins on the lower deck forward. The crew accommodation is at the aft with a double cabin for the captain and a Pullman cabin for a crew of two people. Moreover, there is also the crew mess and an own entrance. The yard offers various layouts for the semi-custom yacht with more flexibility to attract more owners.

Powered by two Caterpillar C32s (1,925 hp each), the yacht reaches a top speed of 24 knots and a cruising speed of 21 knots.

The price for the Johnson 93 is $4,300,000 as a U.S. import (duty paid).

Description

Creating a 28M Yacht, the Sunseeker designers have met those clients of the shipyard, which like the aggressive appearance of the Predator, but required a yacht with a large internal volume and deck spaces. The result is a real "man's" boat 28M Yacht with striking exterior, not just a house on the water, crammed with all sorts of trappings of the luxury life. Body type "deep V" provides a 28M Yacht stable ride on the wave, shallow draft (2,05 m) allows you to go into the waters with small depths and speeds of up to 30 knots — to quickly change the dislocation. In addition to all this the owner of the Sunseeker 28M Yacht will get designed interiors with high ceilings and natural light, plenty of open areas to relax on the decks and even the "side" balcony in the main salon. Residential deck is divided into two zones 3+1. Three cabins, including a master apartment is located in the middle of the body. Bow VIP cabin with a separate entrance can also be used as master. Filling the upper deck 28M Yacht will satisfy the most demanding customer. Sofas and table, bar with counter, two large sunbeds, a Jacuzzi and free space for deck or sports equipment — everything works on the idea of maximum comfort during cruises. In the aft is equipped with a compartment for the crew. Deck and ways of moving around the yacht is designed so that the crew could work, minimally intruding into private guest areas.

MY 28M is a custom motor yacht launched in 2013 by Sunseeker.

Sunseeker Yachts has been building highly-distinctive motor yachts since the mid-1970s, basing their range of semi-custom yachts on hulls evolved from racing and using the latest in composite materials and construction techniques.

MY 28M measures 28.15 metres in length, with a max draft of 2.13 feet and a beam of 6.50 feet.
