Our skipper was very proffessional but also friendly, took us to the best places such as see some beautiful caves and bays, sea is so clear and clean.

The boats he works with are far superior to the majority we saw on the sea and the staff he has access to are incredible! By Plane

Numerous airlines operate flights to Croatia from various international destinations. Major carriers such as: Croatia Airlines, Adria Airways, etc. The availability of flights may vary by season. Flight durations to Croatia can vary significantly based on your departure location, but the average flight time from European cities is around 2-3 hours.  

By Road  

Croatia is accessible by road from neighbouring countries like Slovenia, Hungary, Serbia, Montenegro, and Bosnia and Herzegovina. The road network in Croatia is well-developed, making it easy for travellers to enter by car or bus. Tourists who decide to travel to Croatia by road must make sure they have the necessary travel documents and check entry requirements at border crossings.   

During the high season in July and August, traffic jams may occur on the freeway leading to the Croatian coast. Hrvatski Autoklub is the Croatian Automobile Club that provides various services to its members and the public related to road safety and automobile services. It offers roadside assistance services to its members and provides help in case of breakdowns, accidents, or other emergencies on the road.  

Cell phones, while driving, are prohibited. The use of seat belts and child seats is mandatory.

Hrvatske željeznice – Croatian Railways , often abbreviated as HŽ, is the state-owned railway company. Gary King exhibited repeated bad behavior over the years on Below Deck Sailing Yacht , so why didn’t the show’s production team fire him earlier? The yachtie joined the Below Deck universe during the second season of the sailing spin-off. During season 2, Gary earned the reputation of being a womanizer after hooking up with multiple women. As he continued with the franchise, he had the same repeated behavior each season, forming a new bond with a new woman at every turn. Fans called out Gary’s behavior as problematic and creepy , but he continued on the show.

However, things took a swift turn when Gary was accused of sexual misconduct during the filming of season 4 by Samantha Suarez, a makeup artist who worked on the show. After the allegations surfaced, Bravo and Below Deck were heavily critiqued for not firing him from the franchise. While the fate of season 5 is unconfirmed , it’s alleged Gary was filming the show when the accusations broke, and he finished out the season despite them. Whether the allegations are true or not, his actions over the years are unjustifiable, and production should have fired him a long time ago.

Producers Never Confirmed Gary Isn't Returning To Below Deck Sailing Yacht

Gary’s future with below deck is uncertain.

It’s assumed that Gary will be a part of the season 5 cast, but it is not confirmed. After the April 2023 Rolling Stone article came out, neither Bravo nor Below Deck ’s production company, 51 Minds Entertainment, announced his departure from the franchise. They both responded to the outlet’s response with a comment, with Bravo stating they “ investigated ” Samantha’s claims “ and action was taken based on the findings ” without addressing if Gary was still a cast member of the series. A spokesperson for 51 Minds reiterated Bravo’s statement and confirmed they launched a “ timely investigation .”

“With regard to the incident reported by Ms. Suarez involving Mr. King, the case was investigated and reviewed as soon as it was submitted, and production acted accordingly based on the results.”

Gary Returning Could Put Other Female Cast Members In Danger

Gary’s return to the franchise is a tricky case. He’s been criticized for his treatment and interaction with his women co-stars for years. Gary responded to those criticisms in a July 2024 since-deleted Instagram comment screenshotted by Reddit User u/teleportmasssive , writing that “ every girl I've worked with has only nice things to say about me thank you very much .” However, if his alleged behavior is true, Gary’s casting could endanger other women.

Gary Is Refusing To Take Accountability For His Actions

Gary has refused to take accountability for his actions on Below Deck Sailing Yacht on multiple occasions. Bravo has likely told him not to directly address the backlash, though he continues to defend himself by responding to comments about the situation on social media. Gary responded to a comment on Instagram in September 2024 asking if an official investigation took place, to which he said, “ Her and her boyfriend (now ex I hear) weren’t invited back to any BD due to the problems they caused, so she wanted revenge and to try [to] make some money out of it .”
