OUR STYLING RECOMMENDATIONS

This luxurious vessel is perfect for intimate photoshoots, proposals, anniversaries & wedding ceremonies. There are two distinct spaces onboard the 47ft Catamaran. The forward deck brings an incredible vast space to host an intimate solemnisation and a comfortable second forward cockpit that can sit guests while offering unblocked views of the endless sea. We suggest keeping to about 12 guests for everyone to comfortably gather within the yacht space. We recommend taking full advantage of the exposed yacht railings for floral posies to create that perfect wedding shot. You could personalise these florals according to your vision, be it clean and minimalist, or lush and cascading arrangements complemented with ground hedges. For proposals, we would suggest a cosy look with textured cushions, a mini display of your favourite memories, with a classic rose bouquet.

Yes, outside food & drinks are allowed. There are no corkage charges. No red wines in case of spillage and staining of boat.

Is there on-site parking and where can guests park?

There is a carpark at Sentosa Cove Arrival Plaza and it is located next to the meeting point Cold Storage.

What is the wet weather policy?  

In the event of a light drizzle, the yacht will still set sail. If there is a heavy downpour, the yacht departure will be delayed and will be extended accordingly. If it is not possible to delay the departure, the charter will be rescheduled to a mutually agreed date and time later.

If a sunset solemnisation or a ceremony out in the ocean is on the cards, you'll want to consider a romantic yacht wedding. The Voyage of Love wedding showcase held last month offered couples who'd registered for the event a glimpse of what it's like to tie the knot on board.

If you've wondered what it'd be like to pledge your vows while on the high seas, The Voyage of Love wedding showcase held last month offered couples who'd registered for the event a glimpse of tying the knot on board. 

With a total of three vessels, the event started with the vessels sailing out to Lazarus Island where they were docked together, and couples and particpating vendors could mingle across all three yachts.

Ximula & Gracefully are Lagoon sailing catamarans owned by Ximula Sail with a capacity of 18 guests each. The EagleWings yacht can take up to 50 guests. 

And the bride wore: A beautiful lace sheath from Frieda Brides, with a lush bouquet by Petite Petale. Natural makeup and a tousled hairdo by Cynderella were perfect for the outdoorsy event.

Pretty floral arrangements by Petite Petale turned the yachts into wedding-worthy spaces.

• Wedding Solemnisation on a Yacht in Singapore

Getting married on a boat is a magical experience, with the fresh sea breeze, open skies and a dash of sun (or rain), can offer a wedding not to be forgotten.  Recently, I had the privilege to be a part of Soon Xiang and Valerie’s Wedding Solemnisation on a Yacht in Singapore.

The sky opened in the morning as Valerie was getting made up. The plan was to sail out to the Southern Islands from One degree 15 (One°15) at Sentosa Cove, for their wedding ceremony on the main deck of the yacht in the beautiful waters off St John’s Island.

Guests arrived in umbrellas but slowly warmed up in the comfortable interior of the yacht. As Valerie’s parents were not able to be present for the wedding ceremony, the couple prepared a large screen so her parents can witness the ceremony “live”. With good fortune, the skies brightened and Plan A was back on track. After a delay due to contemplating a Plan B, the yacht set sail. The air was cool and the light was soft. Perfect conditions. No one had to squint and there were no harsh shadows. Soon Xiang in his 3-piece did not even break a sweat.

The yacht returned to One°15 at Sentosa Cove to drop off some elderly family members and for the caterers to set up the lunch reception. Valerie took this chance to freshen her make-up before sailing again. This time, the mood was light and joyous.

Not your usual wedding. I was enjoying it, as were the guests. It was refreshing to be out at sea and the day ended with lots of fun and laughter.
