Yacht Club du Calaisis
Le Calaisis is a historic place of sailing in the Nord/Pas-de-Calais. As early as 1952, wealthy boaters gathered around Louis Leducq to found the Yacht Club du Nord de la France (YCNF). Motivated by yachting and regattas, they set up their headquarters at Fort Risban in Calais. In 1986, the club changed its name and flag and became the Yachting Club of Calais, symbolizing its evolution since its creation with the advent of dinghy sailing and windsurfing, as well as the democratization of this sport.

Qui sommes-nous ?
Avec un lac de 25 hectares ceinturé par un chemin de promenade de 2,3 km, du matériel prêt à naviguer et des infrastructures confortables, la base de voile Tom Souville est un véritable stade nautique: l’endroit idéal pour découvrir les sports nautiques en toutes saisons seul, en famille ou entre amis.
Le Yacht Club du Calaisis y propose un large panel d’activités qui s’adressent à tous: des plus jeunes aux aînés, pour les plus sportifs comme pour les plus tranquilles.
Nous proposons également certaines activités en mer: profitez de l’été pour découvrir notre littoral sous un nouvel angle!

Training at our Yacht Club includes obtaining a boat license, leasing of kayaks, stand up paddles, and our dedicated teaching rooms are equipped with projectors. The Yacht Club of Calais is open to members and visitors and offers changing rooms with hot showers, berthing for personal boats and storage for personal equipment.

Opened in 2019, the Tower Beach Club is a 4300 sq ft indoor/outdoor event venue with 270 degree panoramic views of Mission Bay - the perfect wedding reception venue, private party, or corporate venue. Our panoramic doors allow the event venue to be either fully opened to the outside, or closed up to separate the indoor space from the exterior deck.
If you're looking for a venue that embodies the Southern California beach vibe, it's hard to find a better spot than the Tower Beach Club.
With its open-air bar and massive beachfront patio, the event venue is a quintessential high-end beach club without the high-end price tag. Guests booking the event venue for private events, corporate events, or wedding receptions are welcome to bring their own booze, food, and catering in order to cut costs. Unlike many event venues and wedding reception venues, chairs and tables for 120, as well as 8 high top cocktail tables, are included free of charge with venue rental.
Our private venue is just as adept at hosting a 30-50 person corporate event or off-site meeting as it is hosting a 200 person wedding reception or private party. With a city parks permit, the adjacent beachfront lawn with palm tree backdrop can be used for wedding ceremonies.

Tucked away in beautiful Point Loma, the San Diego Yacht Club is consistently ranked among the top 5 yacht clubs in the Nation and is recognized by the Club Leadership Forum as one of the finest facilities of its kind in the world.
Throughout its existence, the San Diego Yacht Club has evolved from a small gathering of boating enthusiasts joining together in 1886 to a world-renowned yachting community recognized for its success in bay sailing, ocean racing, predicted log racing, cruising, angling, and its support of youth programs at all levels. Competitions have ranged from Major National and World Championships to the Lipton Cup, from Junior Regattas to the Olympics, and from Classic yachts to the America’s Cup. Training and racing programs are available for adults as well as juniors.
