The prestigious UK builder Princess Yachts is delighted to announce that they have launched the new official range of Princess merchandise which has been created in partnership with the famous Italian marine clothing brand SLAM.
The range is an exclusive collection of classic and contemporary, technical and lifestyle SLAM garments suitable for use on board or everyday. This range is only available via the Princess Yachts merchandise website or through one of the Princess dealers.

Crafted in Plymouth
Perched on the edge of the English Channel lies the city of Plymouth, where we established our home in 1965. Today Princess shipyards cover an area of over 1.1 million square feet, an area rich in British maritime heritage. In fact, South Yard, where our X Class super flybridge yachts are constructed, is a former naval yard dating back to the 17th century.

Through a culture of innovation, our yachts are not only some of the most technically advanced in the world but also the most beautifully realised. Over 80% of each Princess yacht is crafted in-house
The Mock Ups
A 1:1 scale model is made of all new yachts at Princess. This a truly unique part of our design process, not carried out by any other yacht manufacturer. A mock-up of all interior and exterior spaces of the boat are created out of plywood for every new Princess model before ever going to build. Each mock-up takes approximately 6-8 weeks to create and they are housed in our Ropery building at the historic old naval site at South Yard, home to our X Class super flybridge yachts.

KPS Capital Partners to Acquire Controlling Ownership of Princess Yachts
Investment will Accelerate Company’s Growth and Innovation
New York, NY (February 13, 2023) -- KPS Capital Partners, LP (“KPS”) announced today that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire a controlling equity interest in Princess Yachts (Holdings) Limited, (“Princess Yachts” or the “Company”), a leading global manufacturer of luxury motor yachts. Existing stockholders will retain ownership in the Company. Completion of the transaction is expected in the first quarter of 2023 and is subject to customary closing conditions and approvals.
Princess Yachts is a leading builder of luxury motor yachts and is recognized for its timeless design, hand-crafted quality and exceptional seakeeping. Headquartered in Plymouth, England, the Company’s unparalleled level of vertical integration – including on-site design, engineering and manufacturing – has helped position Princess Yachts as one of Britain’s most iconic luxury brands. Princess Yachts serves a global customer base through its best-in-class international dealer network. The Company has approximately 3,200 employees and operates five manufacturing facilities in Plymouth, England.
