Every year, Annapolis City Dock (affectionately dubbed “Ego Alley”) is transformed into a boater’s paradise when the Annapolis Powerboat Show (Oct. 3-6) and Annapolis Sailboat Show, presented by West Marine (Oct. 10-14) head into town.
Tens of thousands of boaters and enthusiasts descend on Annapolis to see the latest and greatest boat models, maritime tech, and boating products. Annapolis Powerboat Show

The United States Powerboat Show features everything from luxurious motor yachts to trawlers, high-performance boats, and offshore fishing vessels. There are also family cruisers, center consoles, and inflatable and trailerable powerboats. Vendors' tents line the waterways, selling everything powerboat enthusiasts could dream of and offering boating lessons , rentals , and more.

Beginning with the first-ever in-water sailboat show in 1970 , for over fifty years, the Annapolis Boat Shows have produced in-water sail and powerboat shows where boaters may board the latest boat models, research and purchase boating equipment, foul weather gear, electronics, nautical education, charters, and everything else a boater or boat owner needs.
Today, the Annapolis Boat Shows’ four shows give boaters the unique opportunity to board and inspect virtually every new model on the market, make side-by-side comparisons, and talk to industry representatives about all aspects of buying and owning a boat.

The Annapolis Sailboat Show is set to make its 54th annual appearance from October 10th to 14th at Annapolis City Dock, extending the event to cover Indigenous Peoples' Day for the first time. This year's show promises a record-breaking showcase featuring 155 boats, including 16 new models making their U.S. debut.
Visitors can expect a range of activities from seminars and demo sessions to meetings with popular boating influencers.
Among the attractions is the Pride of Baltimore II, offering guests a historical perspective alongside modern vessels. The event also boasts over 535 vendors presenting the latest in nautical gear, electronics, and sailing essentials.
Educational opportunities are a key focus with programs like the First Sail course, Take the Wheel workshops, and emergency medicine classes tailored for offshore sailing. These sessions are designed to enhance skills for sailors of all levels.
