Taking the Twilight Cruise to celebrate husband's birthday. Even with 2 groups, it was not crowded. We also got to enjoy unexpected live music. If you're visiting, definitely do the Southern Belle. If you're from here, do it again. It's a step away from the real world...and it actually looks pleasant from here!

So much enjoyed the cruise. Great food, great ride on the river, great staff, and one cool Captain. Can't wait to do the cruise again.

We loved the whole 3 hour ride on the beautiful Tennessee River. Food was just average but who goes for the food? Friendly staff and plenty of room to move around.

We took the 2 hour sunset cruise on a Friday night. The boat was not very crowded and moving around the deck to get different views was very easy. The views along both sides of the river are wonderful. There is a bar that opens after you get underway. Reasonable prices. Definitely buy drink tokens ahead of time, though! It makes it easier than dealing with cash, especially after it gets dark. The crew was great. So were the folks I spoke with several times on the phone before we left Atlanta because I had a lot of questions. I definitely recommend the sunset cruise!

We enjoyed the ride, beautiful scenery. We were disappointed that you couldn't hear the captain while he was doing his thing with the history. We were on the upper deck for the sightseeing cruise. We could hear the music from the entertainment, but not the captain, when he was speaking. We wanted to hear that. Music was mediocre. We would have liked a better choice of concessions. The bartender for the top deck, took a long time to get up there, and get started, but she was very nice, and treated everyone so well. All in all, We had a good time and will probably return for a lunch or dinner Cruise.

Horrible experience, rude staff who seemed upset to be here. I'm still on the boat and due to the horrible food and rude staff and forced 20% tip on already 500% mark up on bottom shelf gas stations nachos I would be having more fun jumping off the boat and walking miles to my car. NEVER AGAIN!

Food is disgusting and service is extremely poor. Definitely a spot to try in chattanooga, but would not return. Could be much better if more detail was focused on.

This pleasant cruise was the capstone to a phenomenal week on our first mother-daughter vacation, decades in the making. We took the sunset cruise and unapologetically hogged the lower front deck. We marvelled at American eagles, at "million-dollar" homes, at a golf course, and at the sunset. We just plain lived in the present with no expectations. (Shout-out to the nice bartender.) The cruise is exactly what we needed--just memories lived and made by us. Lastly, the captain's caps made the moms giddy.

We're on a boat!

It was a glorious day on the Southern Belle! The staff was accommodating and friendly! We enjoyed our adventure very much!

Surprise Birthday Party. We chartered the Latitude 35/Tadpole pontoon boat for a surprise party for a 2 hour cruise down the Tennessee River. The rental also includes the Tadpole, a barge attached to the riverbank, for social hour before or after the cruise. The process of booking to the cruise itself was great. The staff were all excellent and very accommodating of requests and meeting our needs. Thanks so much to our Captain, Bar Staff and sales (Joy) for a wonderful day on the river. A big thanks to Cupcake Kitchen for the wonderful birthday cakes you baked and delivered for us.

The boat trip was very nice and the weather was great, but the musician, Gary, that played the guitar and sang made the trip amazing. He was very personable, took requests and talked about music and artists with my daughter and another table. He played great music and that's what made this excursion absolutely wonderful and peaceful.

My husband and I with a group of friends took the Southern Belle Dinner Cruise on December 2, 2023. I know some of us were greatly disappointed. The staff wasn't very friendly. The young lady who came around to let each table know when to go never said a word nor smiled, only festered.Our meal was buffet style, so we served ourselves, got our beverages, etc. Our tables were the last to get in line, so we got the remnants of what was left. The food was fair. We expected a dinner show. One man alone picked the guitar and sang mostly country songs. We had gone expecting to hear a musical. I feel we wasted our money for what we received.

Just to give credit where due, took the cruise on Saturday and seen no issues reported by other yelpers. Great music, cheap wine, good views along the river.

I've been on the Southern Belle once before in 2015 but things have really gone down hill since then. We went on 4th of July weekend and expected it to be busy but boy, we did not expect this level of tardiness and mismanagement and rudeness from the staff. It's a pretty telling sign what when you buy your tickets online, there are at least 4 reminders that they don't do refunds. Hell, it was even printed on the tokens/tickets needed to board the ship. Our boat ride was scheduled for 7:00pm and they told us to come an hour early. Little did we know that we'd wait until after 8:00pm for us to even start boarding the ship. The poor guests behind us in line had bought 2 buckets of beer cans (with ice) that I watched slowly turn into a bucket of beer cans and water before we even got onboard the boat. There was no announcement for the delay as we stood in a line that zig-zagged across the gift shop, blocking exits, check-in lines, and cashiers, since there was no guidance on where to line up from any staff. Upon arriving early, we ended up browsing the gift shop and finding out that all of the registers process check-ins but not all of them can do purchases, so it might take a while if you want to buy something. We actually ended up waiting in line to buy something only to be told to get in another line. I don't recall seeing any way to differentiate which ones were check-in only so this may be my fault but I definitely saw a number of other people make the same mistake as us. I know COVID restrictions have become getting lifted but there were no mask recommendations, staff weren't wearing masks, and social distancing was definitely not enforced we were packed in like sardines waiting for the boat. Additionally, people from the previous boat ride deboard directly into the gift shop which resulted in 200+ people standing elbow-to-elbow at some point as people leaving had to weave past the disorderly line mentioned above. Once we finally were able to board, any semblance of a line was lost, as people started funneling towards the door to board the ship. Our group got split up multiple times during this as people from all directions cut and shove in. Upon boarding the ship, staff members directed everyone to the top deck, even well after it was at capacity, forcing families to climb all the way up and then back down the stairs on the opposite side, including those with strollers like the family ahead of us. We ended up doing the same and finding some seats at the side of the ship on the second level before others came down to do the same after disappointingly realizing there was no space up top. The boat ride itself isn't anything special since there isn't a guided tour and the scenery is mostly the backs of peoples houses. But I will admit it's a bit different from other attractions around here in that it's not every day you get to sail down a river at sunset. Upon finally getting back to shore after our ~1hr 30min boat ride, we were rushed off the ship. Literally. As people from the top level were pouring down the stairs, my group and I remained seated in hopes of not having to squeeze in with everyone when a staff member literally yelled at us to get off the ship as if we were setting up camp for the night. Mind you, we weren't the last people off the ship and there was still maybe 1/2 to 1/3 of the ship that still needed to deboard so there was no rush. Using our delay as a reference point, they were probably already an hour late anyways. I can say without a doubt that I will never visit this establishment again. It was that bad.

Spent the first 35 min in the one line for a bar on the top floor bc of the other floors didn't have a bar. Very crowded on top floor probably bc that's where the bar is. Cheap lawn chairs to sit on, smells like catfish.
